I think her heart has already been broken by the fact that they've split! So she's already well aware that it's not for the long term. There's nothing new in this - other than Gleb's speculation that Gio will get together with all his other partners, which as others have said, is not really just down to Gio, even if he were so minded! And I certainly don't that's his intention necessarily anyway.

They just mentioned Georgia and BaT on Viking fm on my way to work! They didn't say much and mentioned that Georgia has said she would like to break Hollywood 🙄 They did play Georgia saying that she would go wherever the job takes her - which would include America if it come to it! And she said she would love to do a marvel film

So no knew news there I'm afraid but it was a nice surprise to hear her voice on the radio

I'm not shocked. He's young and Italian. You know what Italian's are like! They were never going to get married, have kids and live happily ever after. I bet you £100 Giovanni will get with Laura this year. And next season, I'll bet you another £100 he'll get with his new partner!

Bit mean of Gleb, whether any truth to his words or not.”

My opinion only' as don't want to have argument with anyone!
Think what Gleb said about daisy is bit mean - they've only danced together once for goodness sake!
The thing I will say is Gleb 'did not ring my bell' at all last year on strictly it was Gio all way for me' just adored him!! My family think I'm senile' they may be right.
My next comment is that a couple of Russians that I know are very blunt they don't seem to have tact button, in other words they think we are very polite & it's not in their vocabulary to be so!
Gleb although still a young man & with misdemeanours I am sure has danced in most countries(where dancing is popular) he must have heard & seen a lot!!
Rightly or wrongly most of us stereotype' I get the impression that he is getting at not maybe Gio but Italians in general from what he's seen in his experience & to be honest
I think most of us see Italians as very flirty but lovable nevertheless!
I know when I was younger I really loved Italy & Italians still do' but my feet were always firmly on the floor if you know what I mean! I know someone on here is gonna tell me they are married to an Italian. Oooppps!!!
In his way he maybe really liked Janette & is annoyed that anything could tarnish the relationship with Aljaz!
All strictly class of 2015 seemed to adore Georgia he may have too & felt he knew & didn't like what he thought the outcome would be from what he's seen of past experiences!

I like them too. I don't mind her being overpowering - I think she's funny, but I've put my finger on why it was she slightly annoyed me on Saturday now (it took a while!) - it was her reaction to the scores, she seemed a bit miffed. I'm not saying that everyone has to be super humble, but I thought she thought she'd get better scores and wasn't happy. I might have been reading too much into it though - it has been known!

I should think the Italian Embassy will be on his case if he doesn't stop talking about Italians like that !

I am quite willing to believe that in dance shows as in most theatrical productions a certain type of disreputable male will start a big romance with every partner, bed them, drop them and hurry on to the next one !
Sadly it was ever so ... I think there are examples of such behaviour in TOWIE etc if the mags are to be believed.
Perhaps this is how the beautiful Gleb wishes he could operate if he hadn't happened to become a father and get himself married very young.

However in my experience these sort of guys do not take their latest conquest off to meet their Mum at the first opportunity, they do not as a rule set up home with the young woman and certainly don't remain faithful for eight months.
They do not publicly say they are in love, talk of marriage and children etc thereby taking themselves off the market.
If Gio behaved in this way before he has left absolutely no tracks - a small and very short lived affair with a Russian partner who looked amazingly like Georgia a couple of years ago (no rings were involved) but nothing else.

I have no idea why GG broke up - but I am sure it had nothing to do with Gio clearing the path for a new conquest - it says something about Gleb's attitude to women that he assumes Laura or Daisy are there for the taking - what a cheek !

The timing of the GG split was unfortunate but not unreasonable if one thinks about it logically - Georgia was about to disappear for virtually four months (that we know of and maybe longer- people are already booking shows for next February onwards).
Gio's world fell apart in all directions - his dance partner took herself off too at exactly the same time leaving him with problems for personal appearances next year.
His moving out of town made me wonder if finance wasn't another facet of the split - one of the main reasons couples have problems and disagreements - money !
Maybe he felt it was time to promote his 'Italian Stallion' reputation again perhaps, certainly that is the image his retweets have endorsed.

Who knows but if Gio is this reprobate as described by Gleb he did a very good job of hiding all evidence of it for a year.
Apart from a rather quick hug with Laura when she gave him a Birthday balloon there have not been any tabloid hints at flirtatious behaviour - if he is out there having an amazing time he is being very discreet indeed.
The photographs from the Cafe de Paris don't show him in close embrace with any young women - unlike his friends.
Georgia is the only one who supposedly has behaved like she is single and ready ... etc

Something tells me that Georgia will move on to her next partner before Gio does - I should think the guys are already forming an orderly queue to look after her.

I'm sure you may be right, wicks! I didn't notice her looks, but I can believe she would have looked miffed! I think shes quite confident in herself and is putting her effort into being a dancer as opposed to the joke character - I can see her taking herself seriously in that regard. I do think the way she is (personality wise) is just the way she is. I can accept that for many its just not their cup of tea,. For the moment, I'm loving her attitude and passion towards it all. (Thats not to say it may start to annoy me later on, but for the moment, its good!). And I like Gorka

Wicks I agree with you. If Gio had only wanted a quick fling I don't think he would have bothered introducing Georgia to his family in Sicily, buying her 2 'not an engagement rings' or moving in together.

Gio and Georgia were friends before they started the relationship. I don't think he would have treated her that way as he genuinely cared for her. I think it's more a case of the right girl but the timing isn't right for him as he wants to be commitment-free and enjoy his new found fame. He is only 26 after all.

Gleb is just using the fact that GG are of media interest to keep his own profile up in the UK as he is now on DWTS. I think it is very unnecessary of him when GG have lots of friends among the pro dancers and it might make people uncomfortable around one or the other. Not needed at all

I appreciate both Gio and Georgia and wish them both well. I look forward to seeing Gio on Strictly on Friday/Saturday plus ITT and to reading more reviews of BAT/watching Trollied/seeing how she does in RHPS.

There are going to be some tricky judging decisions when we get down to the dance offs this year.
Will the judges keep Tameka and Anastacia over people who can dance ?

I'm listening to it too and haven't heard anything - I'll keep listening but it doesn't sound terribly promising for her being on today ... well past the allotted time she supposedly had!

It must t have been real why would he buy TWO very expensive rings which he says is what happens when an Italian man is in a serious relationship.

AS for Gleb people in glass house should not throw stones apparently on this years DWTS they are saying him and his partner are getting very close.

BIB I think this is spot on Jammy. ... the comments do seem unpleasant and unnecessary and very disrespectful to both Georgia and Laura (but maybe they give us a clue about how he views women?) Am I right in thinking that both Alijaz and Gio progressed further than Gleb last year?

I think it very likely that Georgia will be in a serious relationship before Gio. But I hope she doesn't rush into one - it would do her good to be single for a while, especially as it seems that she never really has been before.

I liked Gleb but he did like the focus to be on him at all times. Maybe he can't believe that Georgia was attracted to Gio rather than him. In the ITT interview with GG/Anita/Gleb he seemed far more interested in what Georgia had to say than Anita. Just my opinon and probably because Gleb has hacked me off by using GG in this way!

I think that all the feelings were real on both sides and I like to think that their last conversation was like the farewell scene in the film Casablanca with Gio as Rick and Georgia as Ilsa and Marvin (Gio's agent) as Captain Renault

Gio :Last night we said a great many things. You said I was to do the thinking for both of us. Well, I've done a lot of it since then, and it all adds up to one thing: you're getting on that stage with Bob the cat where you belong.
Georgia: But, Gio , no, I... I...
Gio: Now, you've got to listen to me! You have any idea what you'd have to look forward to if you stayed here? Nine chances out of ten, we'd both wind up in I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here or Big Brother. Isn't that true, Marvin?
Marvin : I'm afraid the SCD bosses would insist.
Georgia: You're saying this only to make me go.
Gio: I'm saying it because it's true. Inside of us, we both know you belong on stage with Bob the Cat. You're part of his work, the thing that keeps him going. If that play starts and you're not with him, you'll regret it. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life.
Georgia: But what about us?
Gio: We'll always have Blackpool. We didn't have, we, we lost it until you came to Disneyland. We got it back last night.
Georgia: When I said I would never leave you.
Gio: And you never will. But I've got a job to do, too. Where I'm going, you can't follow. What I've got to do, you can't be any part of. Georgia, I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of two little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world. Someday you'll understand that.
[Georgia lowers her head and begins to cry]
Gio: Now, now...
[Gio gently places his hand under her chin and raises it so their eyes meet]
Gio: Here's looking at you kid.

Helloio everyone

Just lost a long post so I can't be bothered doing it all again

Just to say the Gleb comments are very odd and quite a put down of Gio's character in my opinion.
Why would a professional dancer make comments like that about another professional? Very strange.
I'm not going to get in to the why's of the split and how Gio may feel about Georgia now (as no one knows), but if he wanted a quick fling with every partner he went a bloody long way about it with Georgia didn't he??!!
He loved that girl while he was with her and everyone knows that. No one can fake the way he was with her. End of.

Hello again Delly

I have just seen that on the first ITT show tonight the guests are:-

Anastasia and Brendan
Claudia and AJ
Ed and Katya

So we will have to wait a little longer to see our Gio I am afraid
