Its just been suggested in Parliament that maybe as the Prime minister is now out of work he could apply for the vacant place on the judging team of Strictly as Len Goodman anounced he is leaving today (Sorry for my spelling have no spellcheck for some reason am a terrible speller)

Just read downstairs that Len will still be doing the American version so obviously at 70 the journey back and forth will be too much !

Sad in a way that he is choosing the USA rather than the UK - but i guess money talks !

Luckily it is in the Provinces so the reviews will be more sympathetic than if it was the West End - the local papers are usually very kind.
I don't think the Stage etc will review again as the production has toured and the cast remains the same except for 'Holly'.

Having said that I think Georgia will smash it - she will be well rehearsed and have those nerves under control - if you can come out and dance in front of millions a theatre in Milton Keynes can hold no fears !

Totally agree Sandy - she will smash it! It's a new venture so there's bound to be nerves - but I think that's generally regarded as a good thing before you're about to do a performance! She's a resilient and determined lady, and is so wonderful to watch perform, so I'm 100% confident she will be a huge success!

yes, that was very sad, another time I was moved was when the cortege was leaving Westminster Abbey and the choir sang "Alleluia, May Flights of Angels sing Thee to Thy Rest" .... such a beautiful piece of music and there was complete silence from the thousands of people in Hyde Park
