Quite regardless of how Georgia and certainly the 'Team Georgia' (she has no PR so I don't know who you mean by her Team) you have mentioned may wish to play this situation from the moment the BBC quite recklessly paired Gio with Laura for maximum publicity and the usual 'Curse of Strictly' stories this sort of tabloid nonsense was going to appear.
We all predicted it would and we have been proved right.

Georgia has spent the last year with her Strictly friends - why should she give them up now when she needs support ?

Since the split Georgia has not mentioned Giovanni and/or Laura in any interview - her interviews have all been about Breakfast at Tiffany and the Rocky Horror Show.
I am sure there are endless funny stories about the cat and scenery falling down etc but the tabloids are not interested in anything like that - it is naive to think they would be as they thrive on scandal and celeb couplings !
These stories have only just begun wait until 'Lavanni' does the Rumba
