Re Aliona - she's not my favourite but be careful as our neighbours from next door will pop round. Though to be fair, a few weeks ago iit was to object to some apparently unfounded comments about her. However the ensuing discussion was partially (along with other things) why the thread nearly got shut down - so probably best not to wind anyone up. Though I'm not saying that it's an issue saying you don't like her - everyone will have different opinions. She's never been one of my favourites but I have no problem with her. And she always seemed to get on well with Gio and Georgia.

I think Aliona's endorsement of 'Lavanni' before she had even seen them dance could be seen as a snub to her other ex colleagues - not that I think her support will make a scrap of difference one way or the other.

Reason I only watched one episode of the series after was the bloody appalling way they treated Sylvain!! Schofield was lucky Sylvain's such a nice gentle kind of a guy, I'd have lamped him one the way he carried on & the stuff he was saying!! Didn't have a grain of sympathy for Jorgie Porter either if I'm honest after the stuff she had come out with earlier!!

Samia will probably never be remembered for her prowess as a skating star but she did win one of the top prizes ever on the show!! He seems a genuinely lovely guy

Definitely noted Wicks & my earlier comment was purely off the cuff & not intended to offend anyone!!
There are a great many people I wouldn't want to be stuck in a lift with for a variety of reasons, the most logical being I hate lifts & don't use them unless I have to!!
I may make an exception if it was Georgia I was going to be stuck in one with but that's a different story.....

I worried when they first broke up that Manchester may seem more appealing to her (family/home comforts). Its been good to see that she has made some genuine friends and not just acquaintances who were with her just because of SCD association at the time. I think London is far more attractive for her now, especially for work and her recent insta from the plane shows she loves the place. I hope she stays.

Well I totally agree with you - and think it would be best for her to stay in London but I wouldn't be surprised if she does move back to Manchester as it would be a bit of a waste of money paying for rent on a flat in London when she won't be here at all for the next 3 months. Maybe she'll go to Manchester temporarily and move somewhere new in London in the New Year? I hope she doesn't throw in the towel on London for good. It's the best place for her to be for work opportunities, and as you say, she's been making friends etc.

Oh god another ping of the heart strings ' she's moving out' I almost want to slap myself as keep telling myself it's over but.............. something inside me that I have no control over won't let it go!
I'm not sure getting back together now ( even if an option which I know it isn't ) would be a good thing as they are both chasing different rainbows.
