Clip of 'Lavanni' doing salsa on ITT - I am saying nothing !

Laura's costume is very sexy - like a basic body covered in sequins and bling with a pink boa as a skirt. at the side and back - although the designer woman said they might add more skirt.

I honestly can't see many Corrie producers bringing back Katy Armstrong, she wasn't enough of an 'impact' character & unless they rewrite her character altogether she would be hugely unlikely to get back with the father of her child on the show so really don't anticipate a Corrie return!!
Frankly I would much rather see her get into all sorts of different & diverseTV drama roles, make a name for herself, then get that much wanted Marvel film role!!
If she has time between roles to take part in some theatre work & a few dancing shows with the Strictly crowd then obviously that would be the icing on the cake!! If at some stage in the future she was to dance with Gio again, well that would be a dream come true for all of us, but I fancy she has a lot of Iife to live, a lot of dreams to fulfil and a lot of successes to enjoy before that happens!!
I for one will be cheering her on every step of the way, as I'm sure will we all be on this thread!!

Oh I hope they smash it, I really do!!
Strictly would be the poorer for Gio not still being in it imo, regardless of who he was dancing with, he's such a talent & to be honest watching him with another partner hasn't been anywhere near as tough as I expected it to be!!
I don't believe these two are, or are going to be any more than dance partners & I'm getting behind them now, though probably only about third favourites with me at the moment behind Daisy/Aljaz & Ore/Jo and about level with yes, dare I say it.... Ed & Katya!!!!!???? I scare myself, I really do!!

Ed and Katya are the only pair that grabbed me last week. Most of the rest seemed bogged down by either faffing, the wrong music or props. In some cases all flippin' three.

Oh and hi to Huph, I haven't said hello yet!

I hope they do - looks a bit slutty without IMO - love the rest of the dress though, especially the feather skirt

I wouldn't want her to go back to Corrie either - as much as I love it. Well, did love it until they killed Kylie

I'm just indifferent towards them. I prefer quite a few couple before them including Judge Rinder and that's no offense to Gio. It just the way it is with me.

I get the impression that you are hovering looking for things to pick up on! 😀

And that you think that everyone is willing for them to do badly. I've no idea why you think that anyway - there was almost universal praise here for their waltz last week. I've not seen the clip of the salsa so can't comment, but don't think anyone is willing them to be bad. How odd. And if someone does happen to not like their dance or have an opinion on it - so what? I personally will judge their dances, and those of everyone else, as I see them. I might like it, I might not *shrugs*

Most (but not all) of the people here wish Gio to do well. But that doesn't necessarily mean our favourite couple will automatically be him and his subsequent partners. I was a big fan of Kara and Artem and always wished him well in subsequent years but I never actively supported him and his subsequent partners - eg voting or posting in their appreciation threads. I had different favourites each year. I don't have a particularly favourite this year so far (possibly Will, Daisy and Rinder so far. i liked Laura and Gio's waltz but they aren't one of my favourite pairings)

It's like you are policing a thread that doesn't actually interest you, waiting for things to pick up on!

We said on the thread we would support them both.
Emotionally we have no idea how they feel individually' there MUST be some pain for both of them' there must be!!
Leaving the emotion of the split aside Georgia seems as happy as she can be with her work situation GOOD!!
I've somehow got over the shock of Gio being paired with Laura' they didn't ask for it & im trying to be objective' I've tried to be a bit down on him" but I can't!!
I agree with NDD hope they smash it & would love them to go on and win.
I'm quite amazed at myself really as I think you all know ( except those of you who have been in Siberia) how upset I still am about GG. I don't know about anyone else but I have to separate them' maybe if I knew what happened..................?
I think Laura is coming along very nicely with her dancing & if Gio wants to give her a well done hug that's fine by me. Gio has to act whichever way he can to get the best out of Laura' choreography is an art & he might as well go home if he's going to hold back! If they stay in any length of time I think they will become close" what that means only they will know & it certainly won't be as obvious as GG!!!
Anyway just 'my opinion' GG love ya both!

I am finding it as tough as I expected especially as his partner is so unsuitable.

I so wish Gio had a more gifted and likeable partner - I always hoped it would be Louise who can dance and is a much better height for him and would not be party to these ridiculous 'curse' stories which inevitably involve Georgia.
It must be tedious for Laura that every tabloid story about her partnership includes a reference to Georgia too.
Hope the Strictly PR team are proud !.

Today has made me very sad anyway - we were all so happy the day Georgia got the keys, this is very depressing and not how we hoped it would end.

Actually I am with Sandy on this one. I think the costume will be beautiful when dancing and Laura certainly has the figure for it. But there is a LOT of standing still e.g. in front of the judges, with Claudia etc and a little section of skirt added to the leotard element would look a bit more elegant.

I agree, I would have preferred a partner that didn't mean there was automatic tabloid gossip. I hate all of that and do find it hard. I did want him to be paired with Anastacia but after this last week I bet he's relieved not to have been - just such a difficult situation. I must catch up on last night's ITT to see Anastacia's interview

Well Sandy as the saying goes "the partnership is what it is" neither of them asked for it'
but I want them both to go as far as they can!!

There are so many good dancers this year among the celebs and unfortunately I don't think Laura is one of them - I am loving Daisy and Aljaz and hope they do well !

However, I can see Kevin and Louise (I do think Kevin is a master at getting the best out of his partners) and Danny and Oti going a long way in the competition.
Will looked fab today on ITT and as a long time fan I am ready to support him.

I am enjoying the Judge too.
... and Ed is getting my vote as long as he lasts.

I am a bit disappointed so far with Jo and Ore - I thought they would be great but there is just something not appealing going on - can't quite put my finger on why

Where is Bendy I would love to know what she thinks ....

Ore I think is an ex-children's TV presenter. Joanne is sometimes a bit too girlish in her mannerisms. Something about the pairing is making me think of bubble-gum, Disney and general OTT golly gosh darn it super-enthusiasm. Which is making my teeth hurt. He has lots of potential, Jo is clearly a superb dancer, but the pairing is adding up to JUST TOO MUCH. Jo somehow is making Ore look a bit twee, rather than dashing. Ore with someone a little steadier like Kristina or Nat would maybe have been good. Or indeed Oksana. I really, really wanted to like this pairing as I was hoping for a good year for Jo but its not working for me.

Agree lots of other good ones this year. and @EdBalls

Absolutely agree with you Kathy!!
If I'm allowing myself to be a tiny bit selfish I would rather he didn't actually win so soon after the GG partnership didn't quite manage it, but the final again would be fine by me based on what I've seen so far!!
As I posted a few days ago I certainly don't want them having to feel like they have to behave or not behave in a certain way just to avoid tabloid headlines etc!!
Just be themselves & go for it with each routine as GG did so effectively last year!!

NDD, if you are selfish then I am too - I don't want them to win either - they are not my favourite of the pairings so far and also for the reasons you say too - I want them to do well but not that well! Would be disappointed to see them go out before Blackpool though. I'm guessing they might get past that stage but probably not win it

Watched ITT - that's a wow costume for Laura. She's got the figure for it but if it were me, even with that figure, I'd want a bit of a pelmet skirt at the front. The feather boas should be interesting in the lifts - if they stay that length!!!

Any pics of Georgia at the event that was mentioned earlier?

I can't really get into strictly yet. Didn't manage to see it live on Saturday so just watched mainly the dances the next day.
I really like Judge Rinder, Danny and Claudia( think AJ is cute). Louise is good and I had hoped Gio would get her, not too keen on Kevin but they will do well.
I can't decide what I want for Gio and Laura,I find it uncomfortable to watch them, I am sorry to say, just don't like seeing him dancing with anyone other than Georgia. I know time has moved on but!!
