Just ridiculous and really ruins the show for me. How on earth was that a 9? If that was a 9 then the likes of Daisy, Danny, Claudia all needed about a 15.

That was nooooo way a 9!!!! The judges are so inconsistent its annoying! Not fair on the guys who got 9s! And louise was undermarked crazy!!!

I think you can always see when Gio is a bit worried, he really dances - as he did in the jive last year and the cha cha cha when Georgia only had one day to learn it - it is a good way of taking the spotlight off his partner !

He is an absolutely fantastic dancer !

The marking is very dodgy this year.

Problem is, the public - even those not trained in dance - have watched the show long enough to see what's a good dance and what isn't. People aren't happy when people get over marked and even less happy when they get under marked.

Whilst I agree that Bruno's 9 was completely outrageous i think we need to get a sense of perspective back regarding Laura & Gio tonight!!
Ok there was a lot better dances but we've got to remember this is WEEK 3 for goodness sake!! In any other series I've watched that would have been considered an impressive week 3 performance but this year the standard is so high & the judges seem to be on something for much of the time!!
We have already commented on Laura's 9 from Bruno but what about Darcy's 8 for Judge Rinder, he may be entertaining to some people but he was all over the place on that routine & I agreed with the 6's from Len & Bruno!! How the hell was Rinder worth an 8 when Danny only got a 9 for a week three Paso that blew Jay's week three jive from last year clean out of the water in my book!!
To me they started marking way too high in week one & already by week three they have nowhere to go!!

So many great performances tonight, my favourites being Danny, Ore, Claudia, Daisy, Greg & of course as I've already mentioned Ed!!

I can certainly see an Anastacia/Naga dance off this week, which one of them will go I wouln't like to say on tonight's performance but not sure which will go, probably Naga with Anastacia next week!!

Yes it was a really fantastic show - I don't know what the judges are going to do about marking as at this rate all the couples will be on 40 by week five !

Haha i knowwww the judgings been high scoring hasnt it, dont think theres ever been a series packed with such talent!! Maybe they need 11 & 12 paddles too otherwise its going to get silly isnt it!!!!! Its already well inconsistent 😳🙈

Just catching up on the show (and spoilers). Will post more tomorrow - just wanted to say a) Ore and Jo were my favourites (though I've not finished watching yet) and b) Gorka can arrest me anytime!

Laura and Gio were good I thought, but not great. 7 about right. Bruno was obviously giddy from Gio's flirting with him - as it wasn't a 9. Laura's costume was gorgeous, she looked great - though she suits being blonde much more than a red head

This weeks show was brilliant - i enjoyed so many performances

The marking this year is so inconsistent from all the judges - yes for a week three performance, Gio and Laura's Salsa was great but was it 9 worthy? Not to me it wasn't.

Not when you compare it to Claudia and AJ's charleston, Danny and Oti's Paso and Ore and Jo's AS that really did deserve and get the 9's.
If Laura got a 9 then Louise, Daisy, Greg and Will deserved at least one too as i thought they were a lot better than Laura.

I blame Gio flirting with Bruno for that 9.

I agree the marks were crazy from the first show, practically everyone was overmarked so now the marking looks a bit daft and most couples are marked way too high, especially at this stage of the competition.

It was nice to see Gio's salsa hips back - i'm tempted to watch GG's salsa but i'm not sure i'm ready, haven't rewatched any dances yet.

Agree with all of that - I have had the chance to watch 'Lavanni's" salsa a few times and the lifts are really bad, not so obvious at first viewing.
It isn't just the height difference but Laura seems ungainly.
Then the legs in the routine were all over the place - I don't think Latin is for Laura.
I think Gio will need to do a lot more flirting with Bruno to progress very far in this competition,.

I agree the height issue is distracting Someone else mentioned that she makes Gio look small especially now he's lost weight.
