I was hoping the comments about AJ/Claudia would jog his memory as the judges commented about the speed and loss of technique. If Georgia hadn't made that mistake with the arm I'm sure they would have got 10's.
Would love Georgia to do a Christmas Special but who to dance with! I know who I would love her to dance with again 😝 I know what you mean about comparing other couples dances with GG's I just can't help myself |

You know what I'm a little confused as to the lack of support on here for Louise and kevin! I really like them and she is really good but there doesn't seem to be much support on here!
Haven't watched all the show yet but hope Louise, Daisy, ore, Claudia and danny are safe at least! But I actually like everyone this year and don't want anyone to go 😳 I do think Louise and Kevin are good but there is just something that doesn't excite me enough to vote for them. I just go for whoever makes me feel something when I watch them. ![]() Gio is certainly not having the same experience this year is he? He must be a little shell shocked with how things have panned out for him so far. To be fair though last year was a special kind of "one off" I think and an experience he will never have again so maybe he is trying not to compare it. |

Watching this week makes you remember (not that I ever forgot) how good Georgia was with Giovanni!
I also agree with the comments about their Charleston, Samba and Rumba - if she had danced them all tonight, all three would easily have been the best Charlestons, Sambas and Rumbas of the night, in my humble (possibly biased) opinion! ![]()
Spoiler
A little bit underwhelmed with tonights performances? Maybe I'm judging too harshly because they're all so good and I expect more than I should. Really like AJ and Claudia and will admit I had higher hopes for their samba - wasn't as good as I had expected. The same goes for Daisys Charleston. I liked the two rumbas and thought they were danced well but didn't wow me as much as I hoped either ![]() I'd say Ore and Joannes was probably the best dance for me. Anastasias was her best dance, and nice to see Gorka back

Oh lordy I am posting a pic of Gio and Aljaz which is lovely, but if you scroll across the other pics you will find one of Gio in a wig.
![]() Giovanni really could be in Len's words last year.............Giovanna !! ![]() ![]() Come on Gio - This is not doing your Italian Stallion persona any favours what so ever haha. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04cv8ng/p04cv81l |

Tonight I loved Ore, Danny and Anastasia so my 3 free votes went to them.

Nope I doubt he will ever have a year on strictly as special as last year!! Quote:
I feel exactly the same! I've watched their ballroom so many times, that I noticed this series that I'm more critical of the frame, neck and hand placement of the celeb ladies now, as I remember how Georgias was (honest!).

Frankly from the moment Gio walked up and kissed Georgia's neck that GG Rumba was always going to be a winner - it just sizzled
![]() ... Week 3 too - hard to believe ! |

None of the dances wowed me tonight. I was worried for Danny and Oti with the rumba but hopefully they did enough.
Wasn't that keen on Ore and Joanne's waltz, you couldn't see some of it as the spotlight wasn't on him all the time. Thought Anastasia and Gorka did really well, enjoyed them. Like some of the rest of you, I do compare Georgia's dancing, she was brilliant and her and Gio should have won. |

Popping in to say that if AJ is dancing with a medal-winning gymnast and can only achieve 'that' Samba... he needs to chat to his 'Padrone' Gio....
Agree that GG Samba MUCH BETTER than AJ/Claudia Samba OK I said it Brian ![]() Interestingly, Claudia solo Samba sections are great. Which makes sense given her gymnastics background. In hold with AJ, it is not looking as good. Gio would have achieved a higher quality result. Not very impressed with AJ's teaching but he is clearly a nice young man. Poor Claudia nearly in tears at marks/comments. |

Star and Loz are now thread Royalty (#FACT as someone would say) Any quotes involving their posts must now be directed to their PR Office first and it will cost 50p to talk/tweet/PM to them directly.
![]() ![]() But I have to put a word in for claire_louise who managed to get a photo of GG after waiting in the rain in Grimsby - and whoever it was (sorry having a senior moment and can't remember exactly) who saw them at the Chilli Fiesta the last time anyone from here saw them together ![]() They both deserve to be made Dames of the thread ! Mrs G are they still selling puffa jackets in Italy ? |

Mrs G are they still selling puffa jackets in Italy ? Mr G is an archaeologist-type bod (that's probably why he still likes being with me even though I am old and falling into disrepair) and so we have spent quite a bit of time in southern Italy. I'm always v surprised at how the shops there are full of thick Puffa jackets and sheepskin boots and woolly hats and scarves in the autumn. When we were there last week, people were wearing them even though it was actually warm enough to stroll around in shirtsleeves. Poor Gio must have been frozen to the very marrow last winter. I feel a bit guilty now about the grief we gave him over his P jacket. Dame Star, Dame Loz, and Dame Claire_Louise sounds quite good. Thought Gio looked so lost and unhappy tonight. He must be so sad to lose his fave dance. Hope Laura is OK for whenever rehearsals start next week. |

Might be wrong about the last one 😳I think it will be quite some time before star and loz get over this one though! I'm sure they are so glad to have plucked up the courage to try and meet her
