Yes, I think you're right with regards to Gio's attitude Jammy! Though it would've been perhaps rather kinder if Gio had informed Georgia first, or at least given her some advanced notice, that he intended to be an 'Italian stallion' rather than a future husband! You know, rather than leading Georgia quite so far up the garden path in terms of the whole marriage business (i.e. her giving interviews days before the split describing herself as 'the one') and also perhaps kinder if he didn't kind of get her to structure their whole life round the relationship with him (moving away from her family to London to move in with him, learning Italian, cooking and entertaining for the Strictly people whom he was particularly friendly with) and then kind of completely demolish that structure six months later. It would've also certainly been rather kinder, I think, if he'd decided to give her the old heave-ho a little earlier than 3 weeks before her first ever appearance in theatre, a time at which she clearly needs as much calmness and support as is possible, instead she was heartbroken, in shock, and unable to sleep - not really ideal preparation. |

Speaking of natural beauty. Georgia has put a still on snapchat of herself looking lovely in jeans floral shirt and grey tank. She says: Morning! Aliciax. Looks sunny in her hotel room! Sun for Humpty!😄☀️🕶

(Fast = lots of steps = a bit tricky with an injury = Gio needs to adapt choreo cleverly) Fatskia on the L&G App thread said that Tango with heel leads is best dance option given Laura's injury over other dances requiring toe leads. |

Incidentally, for anyone who is interested the latest Strictly Annual is out from tomorrow. It is available through Amazon for £9.90. Although it will mainly be about the current stars there should be a few pics of last years cast (including, hopefully, GG) in it. |

Yes its sunny and warm here Alison!
xxSorry I've had no time to post due to kids! (and work later) but I felt I should pop in to say I had a fab time last night just in case anyone was doubting ![]() Matt gave a polished and impressive performance as Fred and Charlie was adorable and impressed me even MORE ![]() Great chemistry with the leading lady!As for Georgia herself....she truly lit up the stage - and owned it too! Alongside Matt, its such a central and dominant role in the play, that you really have to own it for the play to work. Its such a great experience for her debut, that she not only coped well with, but did such a good job of it too. Great acting and charisma on stage and her singing voice is amazing. Really! I don't just mean she did a great job for someone who's not a singer, I mean shes really good! It has a lovely warm tone to it, similar to some country singers, beautiful to listen to. My daughter was very impressed and curious as to why we've never heard it before. She did as brilliantly with the Marilyn-style lightheared and comedy moments and she did with the sad and emotional ones. Sorry I don't have time to go on, but you can all be assured she did a fabulous job! Such a talented lady and so beautiful too - theres not that many that can look THAT good without any make-up on! The fact she has such a kind, bubbly and down-to-earth charm as well makes her just adorable and it doesn't surprise me that shes liked as much as she is by everyone who works with her. Hope she never changes as with all these attributes shes bound to do brilliantly well in life if she carries on as she is. (Bearing this in mind, I'd say shes way beyond even being compared to any other 'likes' that have no value to her ) She should be sensible enough to know her worth, as there will be plenty out there who know it too and are bound to value it and appreciate it as she deserves!Wish you could all have had a chance to go, as I know you'd all be impressed too ![]() Nina hope you have a great time too - in The Lanes as well as at the show!

Wow, that is a good review! It'll be interesting to see if Humpty agrees. I don't think I will read her report until after I've seen the show tomorrow. It sounds as if Georgia has really settled completely into the role. It was also nice to read that the theatre was virtually full, apart from the seats with a restricted view. It must make such a difference to the cast to have a full house and a responsive audience.
![]() For her first performance on theatre, the amount of positivity there's been about the play in general, and her performance specifically has been remarkable. Georgia has clearly made a wonderful start to her theatre career! Quote:

Hope you have the most fantastic time at the show tomorrow, Nina!
![]() For her first performance on theatre, the amount of positivity there's been about the play in general, and her performance specifically has been remarkable. Georgia has clearly made a wonderful start to her theatre career! Fantastic! So pleased you had a wonderful time, and thank you very much for your review which is just an absolute delight to read! Georgia's singing voice is always given such rave reviews too - is there actually anything she can't do? Act, sing, dance, be an all round lovely person, I could go on! And that bit I've emboldened I agree with 100%. ![]() And not just good, but very good at all three. The singing stood out for me as I wasn't expecting it to be so good, and it means she's bound to have opportunities in musicals too...being a great dancer isn't going to do any harm to her chances either. She'd make a brilliant Sandy in Greece or Baby in Dirty Dancing. Just to add - I hadn't read that review before I posted! I see he compared her voice to country style singers too, I didn't copy him - honest! But yes, I pretty much agree with him!

98th? 98th?!!! ![]() Quote:
Looks like Georgia isn't commuting from home but staying in a hotel. I hope they have put her somewhere nice with a view of the sea. Brighton's a nice place to wander around. I'm sure Georgia will be visiting The Lanes which is an area full of interesting little shops. I think I might go down there in the morning and have a wander round myself - although I shall refrain from stalking Georgia if I spot her!

The only shocking part of that review is this bit - Starring none other than FHM’s 98th Sexiest Women of 2015, Georgia May Foote..
98th? 98th?!!! ![]() Well that list basically counts for sod all - I see Michelle Keegan topped it, who (IMO!) is nowhere near as beautiful as Georgia ... but then again I suppose it's a 'sexy' list rather than a beautiful list... |

I guess Georgia and Gio are on different life paths. Georgia is looking to settle down, to get married and have a family. Whereas Gio wants to be 'portrayed as an Italian Stallion' and enjoy all the admiration from his admirers. Maturity wise he is not ready to settle down like Aljaz or Gorka.
This fame game is so new to him he's probably been seduced by it. Last year he seemed more grounded and natural but hey I'm not famous and who's to say I wouldn't react the same way. So for now he is happy to enjoy the attention of the Ladies at Cafe De Paris and on Instragram. But one day I guess he will think why did I let her go. Or maybe he won't regret it at all and that's the life he really wants. ![]() Quote:
The cat is fabulous, Ruby. Me and Loz spent moments thinking 'is it fake?' because it was like a stuff toy at some points. It turned its head once (whilst in Fred's arms) and just stared at the audience with disgust - like it was judging us all lol.
It also had a lovely bit, where it had to run across the stage, which was very well received by laughing and clapping. The lovely actor who plays Fed just paused to allow the cat to get his applause before carrying on with his script ![]() thanks for this information, I think the cat is gorgeous but am surprised he's not affected by the clapping, obviously a trained actor ![]() Quote:
Well you've outlined another trouble I have, which is no matter how much I rehearse what I'm going to say in these sort of instances, it all well and truly flies out the window by the time I meet them and I seem to be actually physically unable to form a sentence. ![]() And you're quite right, of course, Ruby - actors should indeed be very pleased to meet them, however I have a feeling that an awful lot don't make the effort they should. Georgia, on the other hand, goes above and beyond - I mean, not only did she meet and chat with Loz and Star, she sent them both the most beautiful tweet afterwards too! if you were to meet Georgia she'd be pleased to see you and you'd be prepared, so could compose yourself, but I really didn't expect Matthew to open the door which meant felt like this but. hopefully, looked like this ![]() all the actors and dancers I've met have been lovely but it must be awful if you're a fan of someone and find they're unfriendly when you finally meet them Quote:
Watching ITT - I used to love Camilla D on Strictly
... and isn't Daisy lovely ? ![]() looking forward to ITT tonight and to see the dance to Paint It Black ... a great song and Gio did say that the Stones are the best band ever

Afternoonio GG land ![]() Quote:
Looking at these pics I have finally realised the No1 reason that GG have parted ![]() The real Gio has been taken over by an alien. He is currently in a spaceship being held hostage in space while the "imposter Gio" is down on earth. He is being made to stay there while he teaches the alien community how to dance. I do hope that the real Gio is brought back soon ![]() ![]() Sorry - Just being silly...........I actually wish this was the real reason to be honest. Quote:

It'll be interesting to see if G&L manage to make a comeback after last weeks disappointment. They haven't exactly had a smooth ride this year. I think it will be hard for them to top the leaderboard like GG last year but I'm sure Gio will be able to choreograph a great routine for them. . ![]() I also don't think they have been given the best song choices this year. I know it is about the dancing, but personally if I don't like the music it puts me off before I have even watched. I believe G&L are on ITT tonight. Does anyone know if the Pro's are getting any say in the music choices this year or are they just told what they are dancing to??? I noticed that Gio has liked a tweet from someone who says she can't wait to see him on the strictly tour in Glasgow next year so maybe he knows he has already got the gig, or is he just hoping?? By the way thank you to Humpty for the review of BAT. Glad you enjoyed it. Georgia certainly seems to have won the audiences over

Gio has also liked the tweet below.
Nothing spectacular about that in itself but it is interesting as it is the first time since "that day" that I have seen him acknowledge anything connected to his dances with Georgia last year. It is the tweet below the Laura and Gio fan account one that he has liked which you can see by scrolling down. https://twitter.com/Dukunoo/status/791020764204044288 |
