How many pictures of Laura's ankle do we need to see? Another one added to Instagram. We all know your injured. I don't understand! Just work hard & do your dance on Saturday.

Hello Islapops.

Unfortunately some people out there continue to say that Laura was not actually injured. Some others equally think she should pull out immediately because she has an injury. So its likely that she thinks it sensible to show on Instagram how she is managing her first day back at training with an injury. No more to it than that I would imagine.

Gio and Laura need to work fairly carefully this week and follow physio advice. We should know a bit more from ITT tonight.

Hi there

I guess that's fair enough then. I was just baffled... oh another ankle one! You will always get people who question things. I believe people questioned Georgia's illness last year, just the way it goes I guess. She just needs to concentrate on her dance and going out there on Saturday.

I know beauty isn't everything but sorry don't know what gio is thinking about at the moment. There is no comparison between Georgia and the latest picture he has liked of joy. If I were his Mum I would be despairing of him right now!

Sorry I forgot to mention the cat Ruby

The cat was great - white and fluffy and looked very cuddly! He/she looked at the audience with a bored, condescending look (as they do!) but he/she was very well behaved!!

No worries Jenster....not very long and in depth - didn't have enough time! But did want to assure you all that she was brilliant!

Pam Of course there isn't, but I wouldn't bother about it or even try to compare. Shes worth far more than to even start comparing herself to some of those pics And I'm hoping she gets to a point where she could care less about any of them!

Yes its sunny and warm here Alison! xx

Sorry I've had no time to post due to kids! (and work later) but I felt I should pop in to say I had a fab time last night just in case anyone was doubting

Matt gave a polished and impressive performance as Fred and Charlie was adorable and impressed me even MORE Great chemistry with the leading lady!

As for Georgia herself....she truly lit up the stage - and owned it too! Alongside Matt, its such a central and dominant role in the play, that you really have to own it for the play to work. Its such a great experience for her debut, that she not only coped well with, but did such a good job of it too. Great acting and charisma on stage and her singing voice is amazing. Really! I don't just mean she did a great job for someone who's not a singer, I mean shes really good! It has a lovely warm tone to it, similar to some country singers, beautiful to listen to. My daughter was very impressed and curious as to why we've never heard it before.

She did as brilliantly with the Marilyn-style lightheared and comedy moments and she did with the sad and emotional ones. Sorry I don't have time to go on, but you can all be assured she did a fabulous job! Such a talented lady and so beautiful too - theres not that many that can look THAT good without any make-up on! The fact she has such a kind, bubbly and down-to-earth charm as well makes her just adorable and it doesn't surprise me that shes liked as much as she is by everyone who works with her. Hope she never changes as with all these attributes shes bound to do brilliantly well in life if she carries on as she is. (Bearing this in mind, I'd say shes way beyond even being compared to any other 'likes' that have no value to her ) She should be sensible enough to know her worth, as there will be plenty out there who know it too and are bound to value it and appreciate it as she deserves!

Wish you could all have had a chance to go, as I know you'd all be impressed too

Nina hope you have a great time too - in The Lanes as well as at the show!
Thanks for your review Humpty. I wasn't going to read it until after I had seen the play but I did anyway and now I can't wait for tomorrow! Really looking to hearing her sing as well. As you say, what an experience for her first stage role! I'm sure that a part in a West End musical beckons for her! Perhaps she'll end up making an album - that would be exciting!

I hope I haven't spoiled anythign for you Nina I didn't think to put it in spoilers as I wasn't talking about the plot, but I wish I had at least mentioned what the topic was so you were warned to scroll down before you started reading. I hope I haven't built it up as sometimes that can lead to a tiny bit of disappointment if your expectations are raised. I'm sure you'll enjoy it though!!

I'd love to see her in a musical. It really is exciting, knowing she can sing as well as dance and act! I really don't think she'll be struggling for work any time soon. Have a lovely time and tell us all about it!!!

After lurking for a while it is with some trepidation that I'm venturing on to the thread once again!
I really do not want to be controversial' I know others will have a different view but would just like to feel we are sitting over coffee having chat!
I know I am spitting in the wind (excuse expression)
Seems to me the thread has become the Georgia Appreciation Thread, don't get me wrong stupidly IMO for a woman my age I was devastated by the split.
I think Georgia is beyond beautiful' no doubt in my mind she is going to be very successful & I have been over the moon with the reports from those of you who have been to BAT! Also the latest report from Brighton was wonderful & made my day! Also agree she seems a really beautiful person!
I'm just saying I have a different opinion to most of you regarding split' it's an opinion I've had from the beginning & quite possibly wrong but it is my opinion nevertheless!
Posts on here have become somewhat the gospel truth i.e.:-
""Only he knows why he chose to make the decisions he did""
""Deleting photos etc does he think he can forget' silly man""
""People telling Gio he should go after her' Gleb saying ""you should have stayed with her""
""Gio' the grass isn't always greener"" etc! etc!
Another post I read was Gio & Geo on different paths. Georgia is looking to settle down, to get married & have children! Georgia has never said.that' in fact when someone asked her on periscope about babies she said an emphatic NO!
Reading last quote she liked "" I know letting someone go isn't easy""
None of us know what happened between them, but we must until we know (if ever) Give Gio the benefit of the doubt!
Also I think it would be nice if we could fully support Gio & his dance partner whoever she is!
I hope they both know (they may do already) including Georgia what they have lost!
Giovanni is a 'one off' I'm sure Georgia knows that! I wish her every happiness with whoever but think IMO 'whoever' will always come a little bit second best!
Just to conclude think Gio hasn't looked at all himself this year & believe me I study him a lot!!!
I'm not at all into Strictly this year' GG were the BEST!!!
Ti Voglio bene to you all x

For anyone interested here is a short clip of this weeks Halloween pro dance rehearsals. Posting it as Gio obviously features in it and I am sure Star will appreciate the lovely Gorka

*curtsey* thanks for this information, I think the cat is gorgeous but am surprised he's not affected by the clapping, obviously a trained actor
Wasn't bothered at all. Like I said, he was more disapproving of the clapping really lol. Just looked at us all with a disinterested look on his face

I really can't believe that, if you were to meet Georgia she'd be pleased to see you and you'd be prepared, so could compose yourself, but I really didn't expect Matthew to open the door which meant felt like this but. hopefully, looked like this
We had a similar thing actually, Ruby. From Georgia's messages (she said she would be out later than normal as had someone going backstage) we thought we'd be waiting but soon as we turned the corner she was right there. Didn't have time to be embarrassed or worried about what to say or looking like an idiot lol

so pleased you enjoyed the show ..... and I hear from Star that the cat was good, too, I really wish I was going now

Nina
hope you have a fab time tonight
You should really try to go, Ruby. It's a fantastic show

Star
Looking at these pics I have finally realised the No1 reason that GG have parted

The real Gio has been taken over by an alien. He is currently in a spaceship being held hostage in space while the "imposter Gio" is down on earth. He is being made to stay there while he teaches the alien community how to dance. I do hope that the real Gio is brought back soon
Sorry - Just being silly...........I actually wish this was the real reason to be honest.
Well, it seems more plausible than him just ending things with her!!

Sorry I forgot to mention the cat Ruby

The cat was great - white and fluffy and looked very cuddly! He/she looked at the audience with a bored, condescending look (as they do!) but he/she was very well behaved!!
Glad he did it to you as well - was thinking it was just us that he was judging

Edit - Kathy - I will PM you x

Sorry, but I agree with Kathy. There are a lot of assumptions being made here and all in one direction... if it wasn't working, it wasn't working. Sometimes it just goes that way and I think we should stop talking about it.

We know that Georgia reads the thread. How will Gio feel if he does too? Not appreciated, I bet.

Just popping in. Gio and Laura back in training today and I think on ITT later tonight.
Yes but they only started training today going to do the
r jive according to Gio if they get to the final. Not as confident as last year when even before he got Georgia as a partner he said he promised whoever he was given as a partner they would be in the final.

Every time I see him I am just struck by the fact he is not the sme person anymore. Its like a light has gone out

Don't understand why you seem to think that this is the attack Laura thread? Its her Instagram she can do what she likes. Why does it bother you so much? plus she only posted one photo of her leg? You seem to think she wants sympathy or something

I was going to mention something about It Takes Two on here, but reading above BEST NOT TOO because people keep jumping in on whatever seems to be said. So maybe I best shut up!! If someone thinks of something constructive please DM me as I'd love to hear your thoughts please!!

I will say I supported Georgia & Giovanni and spent to my cost voting for them both to get to that final last year as many of us did.

I am not a fan of Laura hence not posting on that thread...and I have all Irish blood in me so its not that in case someone thinks it from over there!! I wouldn't wish ill on her and hope she dances, but to me too the spark has gone from Giovanni and I think like most we know the reason!! I won't say anymore about the ankle situation on here!!

Andy, Isla's initial post has already been answered in a very civilised fashion by Lady Lavender and her answer has been accepted in an equally civilised way by Isla - there was no need for you to get aggressive.

How on earth is this a dig?? Sandy's last sentence is just repeating a favourite expression of Giovanni!

I find Gio's new celeb partner very artificial and mannered - I always hoped he would get Louise and as time goes on I can see that would have been a better choice.
Right height, lovely personality and she can undoubtedly dance.
I think Kevin my be destined for yet another final - their Charleston today on ITT looked really confident.

BTW just ignore the troll - or better still alert

I will just never forget Gio's super fast legs (is that a technical dancing term?) in that jive last year. I was mesmerised by him and then by both of them together.

By the way I haven't seen this pic before of Gio, Gorka and a young lady.

Dont understand the accusation of aggression? Is questioning someone aggressive? Isla post over trying to control what someone posted on their own Instagram page seemed more aggressive then mine? And second its a dig by trying to say they wont make it to the final etc etc but its another in a long line of Laura digs by Sandy on a georgia and Gio appreciation thread...
