Your disparaging comments against Laura on Giovanni and georgia appreciation thread are the ones the should be alerted, as again she has nothing to do with the thread and neither do your continious snide and nasty comments against her,on this thread or on twitter for the matter.But of course you seem to think you have some kind of passive aggressive control on this thread judging by the amount of times you tell others what they can /can't do and judging by some PM's I have gotten many people who have left this thread agree with me.

Also- where I don't take part in saying a bad word about Laura or anyone else (I wouldn't say anyone has slagged her off either, not that I remember anyways) if people want to discuss Laura in here- it doesn't have to be in a completely appreciative way!!

I think everyone in here have all wished Laura and gio well especially after last weekend ! I am glad they are both back in the training room and hope they can achieve a fabulous tango! Hopefully she won't hurt her ankle more!!

Just popping in... I think (probably) Gio was trying to be nice there in his Jive Show Dance comment. He made a point of saying IF they get to the final so I think he is realistic about which celeb names are going to appear as the final 3 this year. And Laura chipped in to say that she just wanted to get through Saturday. So I think she knows the score as well.

Put it like this, I would not imagine that he has started the choreo on his Jive final show dance .....

I am glad that they (fingers crossed) going to try for a proper dance on Saturday so we will see another Gio fast Tango. Realistically, they have lost valuable training hours needed for really strong technique.... but Gio looked on good form.

I don't think sandy meant anything in that comment! It's a bloody tough competition so where I am doubtful of them reaching a 3 person final I wouldn't say it's impossible! I just hope she looks after that ankle bless her!

Plus gio is the king of Halloween tangos so hopefully he has choreographed a fab routine to show off Laura's strengths!

I think it's time to reiterate that this is the Georgia May Foote and Giovanni Pernice Appreciation thread. As far as I can see, Laura Whimore's name does not appear in the name of that thread, thus we can talk about Laura in whatever way we wish. Simple.



In my opinion, Georgia can, and will, get a lot better than she's had.

He is bound to be different I suppose because he was falling for Georgia and everyone knows what you are like when you are falling in love. He doesn't feel like that with Laura so maybe how he is now is his normal self.

I don't have anything against Laura and certainly not gio but I think the chances of them reaching the final are very slim just as I think daisy probably won't reach the final.

It probably seems we talk about Georgia more because she is very active on all forms of social media and gio is not so you only have what happens on strictly to talk about.

Exactly so thats why georgia is more talked about.....i cant believe how quick people jump down peoples throats over their opinions seriously!!!! Its is unfortunate gio has been paired with laura she is the marmite of the competition this year....i feel she has a very split fanbase as she doesnt connect to certain peoples tastes.....i for one feel she is false and cant take to her but certainly dont jump on here slagging her off and i can say ive not seen such things said about her on this thread.....yes people have commented that all the reporting on the injury has been OTT which it has but that is opinions not slagging her off!! That guy andy is a wee bit touchy when it comes to laura by sounds of it but afterall it is a TEAM GG appreciation thread not the LAVANNI one!!!!!!!

If Andy wants to put his forum membership at risk by constantly coming onto an appreciation thread to snipe at it's members then so be it, but I would hate for this to turn into another closed thread because of something that isn't our fault!!
As tempting as it is to argue back I feel, given that we have already had one batch of comments deleted over this, it would be prudent to completely ignore the guy & not risk our thread as it seems pretty obvious to me what he is trying to do!!

I would like to re-iterate what Brian said. No-one who posts on this thread regularly needs to prove their GG credentials. We've done this by our actions and support of both GG whether it's good luck wishes/messages/gifts or attending events including the proms/tour/chilli festival/Grimsby and BAT. Also the whole discussion about the cruise was hilarious especially when Collaw found that sat nav app so we were following them around

Can I support Brian in what he has just said. I am a Laura and Gio supporter and only post here when it is relevant.

We can both Appreciate on our own threads.

We can also all Appreciate that there are different points of view out there as both threads always try their best to do.

Absolutely Pam, I post snapchats when I can along with Lovely Lozzer and other kind posters but there is nothing to post from Giovanni otherwise it would be posted. A lot of people kindly post here if Giovanni tweets. However tweets are rare, wish there was more but there isn't the material.☀️

Ed may just get another week as it is a Halloween show. If he and Mrs Kat Jones bring the fun and any reasonable dance improvement the brilliant GB public may put them through. However sadly I think maybe Anastasia without Gorka may have to dance off. I am missing Lesley this week and I think that the strictly 2016 group will be missing her too on Friday long rehearsal day.

Brian, I don't have an issue with how people talk about Laura - as you say, this is not her appreciation thread and it is a discussion thread, which invites discussion. And yes, people were good enough to donate to the hamper for Gio, which I am sure he did appreciate.

I know I'm not a regular poster here (like Frankie Howerd I just lurk a lot) but I'm getting a wee bit uncomfortable with reading the constant reiterating of how Gio is too stupid to see what he has lost. Unless we were in the relationship, I can't see how we can know what he felt like then, or now.

Everyone loves Georgia, I get it, but can we not just talk about things they are doing without bringing the other one into it?

There were So Many nuances, expressions and little actions that delightfully added to that something special of Team GG last year (one was remembered a few days ago 'sweaty armpits Gio' and I am sure you realise how many people this thread attracts as posters and viewings because they still would like be in touch.
