Hope ed isn't in the dance off he just makes me smile. I find some of the others a bit boring if I'm honest. I think Anastasia might go this week but I think it might be a shock who she might be in the dance off with.

Nothing to rival the GG tango this year - but if I had to choose a Queen of Halloween it would be little Claudia, I thought she danced really well.

I gave my 3 votes to Danny,normally split them between him,the judge and Claudia but worried for Danny this week. I didn't actually see the show as my Mum was visiting but I was following it on here. Maybe I shouldn't have voted but Danny and Oti are my favourites. By all accounts Laura was really good so well done to her and Gio.
Sandy: Yes, I thought it was the Hazel who is/was on here! Saw Georgia liked it earlier today, so many tweets about their tango. TBH I really thought as Hazel had posted pics of her two little lads Gio would have at least LIKED it for childrens' sake - but No he didn't. Seems he doesn't want to see anything relating to his past time with Georgia - Me, Myself & I Mr Pernice!! ............and now I'm going before I explode over tonight SCD!! Come to me spoiler, but we know what's happened don't we folks!!! The Judges really outdid themselves tonight with marking. To end I thought Claudia & AJ were amazing and I feel CRH was absolutely appalling to Natalie tonight - his remark was totally uncalled for and the mark!! MAD, MAD, MAD!!!!

It's not just you
There's a giant GG shaped hole this year. And, I was never a big Jay fan but I preferred him and Aliona to most of the couples this year as well! I like Daisy, Rinder and Ed but couldn't care less about anyone else. Well, actually, I quite like Claudia and Ken doll boy

Lozzer I agree the class of 2015 were much better. As well as eagerly waiting for GG's dance every week I would also look forward to Jay's, Anita's and Helen's. Also the biased marking is ruining it a bit for me. Also the 2015 gang seemed to really like each other and we're all cuddly/genuinely supportive and I don't get the same vibe this year. I think if Jay and Georgia were competing this year they would still be the top 2,

It was indeed! I only had the TV on in the background, and Georgia's lovely voice right at the start alerted me to the fact it was on.

Don't get that at all yes you have split up and you have made a break, but I would have thought he would at least acknowledge some of the great routines he had done last year. It is praise of his work after all.

Obviously i was Team GG all the way but i really enjoyed other couples too, far more than i do this year. Last year i also really liked Helen, Kellie, Anita, Katie and Jeremy. Last years lot did seem a lot more closer and supportive than this years celebs. The marking this year is also what's spoiling it for me, it's so inconsistent and biased.
Just watched some of the dance clips from strictly website. Some of the music is just awful,ruins the dances. I thought Kevin and Loiyse did quite a good Charleston but the song totally spoiled it. Same for Claudia and AJ,thought they did a lovely dance but rubbish song. Quite liked Greg and Natalie's rumba song but didn't think it looked like a rumba. Not sure why Danny and Oti were attached by a rope but otherwise enjoyed them. Laura and Gio had a good dramatic song but couldn't see her feet to see if she was doing the correct steps.
Will be interesting to see who is in the dance off.

I wonder if it's more difficult for someone with quite a broad accent (like Georgia) to do an entirely different accent for a show like that. Either way, she does brilliantly well to carry it off throughout the show.

I also agree. After the amazing start to this series I feel it has gone very lack lustre the last few weeks. Can't put my finger on why ! Thought tonight was dull and bad music choices !

I agree don't think this series for all the good dancerS comes even close to last years. Very disappointed in the paso not dynamic enough for me and have not seen one Charleston that comes close to the one I judge them by which of course is that danced by GG

Gonna give my verdict on Strictly tonight without reading anyone else's & see if anyone else agrees!!
Firstly HUGE kudos to the costume/Make up departments,absolutely fabulous!!
As for the show, what a strange show it was!!
Both 'top seeds' making mistakes (though I loved both routines personally) & both the 'comedy acts' doing really rather passable routines (or in JR's case Pasoble... sorry )
Definitely out for me tonight should be Anastacia/Brendan!! Trying to jive to Bat out of Hell was never destined to end well & it was every bit as bad as I expected!!
Of the two Paso's I actually, much against my better judgement liked Judge Rinder's better than Daisy's
Louise & Ore's 'Charlston off' was a strange one!! Loved Ore's footwork but he did get a
bit messy a couple of times whereas I found Louise a tad dull as usual but she was tight & accurate all the time!!
Claudia/AJ finally made me feel something tonight, thought their routine was charming & well performed!
Ed & Katya!!!! Please Great British Public put them through again!! Katya's unbridled
enthusiasm is literally THE ONLY thing from this series that's giving me anything like the happy 'Georgia vibes' I had last year!!
Laura & Gio's Tango was thankfully different enough from last year's 'Queen of Hallowe'en'tango not to even invite comparison!! Good performanxe, should be enough to see them through!!

Reason for this being I absolutely LOVED the routine!!! The footwork looked fabulous to me & I just want to see it done again perfect without the blip in the middle!!
Finally I can understand if nobody else agrees but I don't give a monkey's nuts whether Craig thought it was a Rumba, or even whether he was right or wrong, that dance moved me in a way probably no other dance has this series & I thought Greg was a revelation tonight!! My favourite of the night by a country mile & I felt so so sorry for Natalie as they had both worked so hard to eradicate the nightmare of last week & quite frankly a 4 from Craig was an absolute insult, given some of the marks he's been awarding this season!!

Finally I can understand if nobody else agrees but I don't give a monkey's nuts whether Craig thought it was a Rumba, or even whether he was right or wrong, that dance moved me in a way probably no other dance has this series & I thought Greg was a revelation tonight!! My favourite of the night by a country mile & I felt so so sorry for Natalie as they had both worked so hard to eradicate the nightmare of last week & quite frankly a 4 from Craig was an absolute insult, given some of the marks he's been awarding this season!!

I have watched the dances again - and mostly agree with you.
Both Charlestons left me cold, although I thought Louise was better than Ore.
I thought the judges had a very bad night - over marking and under marking like mad.
Craig probably awarded Greg hundreds more public votes following his remarks - I do always think it is so unfair when celebs are marked down because of the choreography which is not under their control - Georgia in the Rumba for example last year and Ore early in this series when Len didn't like Jo;s choreo !
For me Claudia was the Halloween Princess - a really lovely dance.
Danny dances so well that even tonight with mistakes he should have been top of threader board IMO.
I would also love to see it again very much - great dance.
Katya is a joy - I hope they give her a terrific celeb next year but she is brilliant with Ed.
