From all the accounts it seems Georgia is great on stage - and she can sing too which we never knew.
'Trollied' is about to start and that is also another new feather in her cap - TV comedy.
I hope she gets a film soon because I think that is on her wish list.”

I so hope there is a way to watch trollied for all of us who don't have sky!

I do wish those 6 or 7 lady fans would stop telling him that he is an Italian Stallion and that his 'ips' make them faint - because the one thing he didn't seem to learn from Georgia was modesty and they are encouraging him to be a bit overly arrogant.
He always was a bit arrogant which seemed charming but he could easily over do it now.”

I'm joining in with the Danny & Oti love. Didn't like her last series but this series has really shown her personality and she's been amazing.”

Sandy yet again I completely agree with you and Islapops Something has changed. Last year he seemed so genuinely thrilled to be on SCD, to have Georgia as a partner and to be doing so well in the competition and you got swept up in the almost childlike enthusiasm that he and Georgia had. There was a charming naivety that balanced out any bigheadiness. This year he's coming across as a bit entitled and arrogant and it's making me feel that I'm not that interested any more in what happens to him and Laura.
I am really enjoying Danny and Oti though and look forward to seeing them dance each week. Their personalities are both much more engaging and their dancing is wonderful (even when they go wrong!)

Couldn't agree more he really has changed and its sad as i dont find myself that interested in what hes up to like ITT last night im not bothered i missed it!! Real shame but i think hes becone bigheaded and lost that cute sweet guy from last year! Nevermind plenty of couples to focus on....have to say its nice being not so into one couple this year like last, im getting to notice people's personalitys more....like you said i love oti really grown to like her but last year i wasnt fussed!! Im really enjoying greg and natalie (sweet partnership) the judge and oskana (like her as a pro) claudia and aj (sweet couple) and kevin and louise. I am loving ed balls too sorry hahaha!! Set to be a good show tonight lots of good dances.....hard to call who goes now! X

Maybe gio seems more full of himself because of the partner he is with. Laura to me seems very confident and a bit full of herself so maybe it brings it out I gio. Whereas last year year Georgia although a confident person she is more modest and never seemed to accept how good she was and maybe that's why gio was less full of himself.

I do think he will come down to earth a bit when strictly finishes because if he expects the attention to continue like last year I think he will be a bit disappointed or maybe that's what he prefers!

Again I agree with you too! We can't say too much about it I guess because this is a Georgia and Gio appreciation thread! But arrogance is not an attractive trait to have!

Yes it's so nice to not be so involved this year, and I have several couples I look forward to each week and my number 1 changes weekly!

Last year I liked Anita, Helen, Kellie, katie and jay but at the end of the day it was all about team GG for me! No one even come close though I could appreciate those couples dances!

I have differing views on Gio in terms of relationships than I had before, but to be honest I don't think he's that different to last year in the programme itself (apart from his improved English).

I think there might be a perspective that some are less endeared by certain personality traits than before, but I don't see much change in Gio himself and his personality traits don't seem much different to me

I don't think he has changed very much either but obviously Strictly is no longer so new and special, his English is much improved and he has developed a female fan club that tell him he is the most attractive man on the planet.
I don't remember him constantly retweeting OTT comments about his looks last year -but perhaps he did.
HIs instagram has always been a homage to him but it was broken up with some nice photographs and comments about Georgia.
Now it is just shots of him mostly from the same shoot.
All of which makes him seem more arrogant and full of himself.

After all it doesn't take much for fame and adulation to go to a man's head !

I wasn't following him on social media during the show last year so I don't know if that side of it is different, I just meant in the programme itself, where he really doesn't seem that much different to me

Gio doesn't seem to be liking any pictures of Rachel joy at the moment. Maybe she was getting too keen leaving comments on his Instagram. Can't see him wanting to get into another long term relationship any time soon!

I wish i'd followed her now that i see she was heading to meet Georgia.
Everyone has really said all there is to say about the show so I can't really add much more. Georgia looked and sang beautifully as everyone has already said. I felt that Georgia and Matt carried the show. I couldn't believe how much dialogue she had to remember and to think she's had to do that in her first theatre part.
Obviously we all knew what to expect and that it was based on the book rather than the film but to anyone not being aware (which I think would be the majority of the audience) they may have been confused.
I was so happy to hear that Star & Lozzer got to meet Georgia and that it all went so well for you both Omg how amazing was it that Humpty and her daughter got to meet her too. Star you really are a star for helping to sort that out.
To be honest I hadn't intended to go back to meet Georgia but I really regret not meeting her now.
I had a lovely drive to Sheffield with my daughter. The sun was shining and the view was lovely and very picturesque. We went to Piccolinos to have dinner and the food and service was fabulous and we then headed to the theatre. I can tell you it was a different story on the way home when it was heading towards midnight. If you know that road back to Manchester you'll understand. It was pitch black and there was so many bends. Those beautiful views were now drops at the side of the road that we couldn't see. To cap it all off we found ourselves driving through fog. I think I'll book a hotel next time I go to anything in Sheffiled.
The Stalls where I was sat was completely full and I could see the balcony had lots of people too. Pam mentioned that they didn't do an encore. I noticed that too. The show just ended and they lined up to take a bow and that was it. I don't know if that's just how they ended each show or just the ones Pam and I went to.
When I was watching the show it felt so surreal seeing Georgia in front of me especially with an american accent. when I'm used to just discussing her on here.
I thinks she's done amazingly well to have managed to cope with being on the stage for such a long with so much dialogue to remember in her first live stage part. I just thought if she can do this she can manage anything. I'd love to see her as Sandy in Grease. I think that part would really suit her.”

Ah you should have, Dee. I'm glad we did

Never mind. We still have Rocky Horror show and EVERYONE is coming to that so we can all go see Georgia then

Nice that's she's supporting Daisy, but can't see her in the final. Think that Georgia will switch support to Danny and Oti when Daisy leaves.

I tend to agree Wicks, I don't see anything essentially different to Gios personality or character traits this year compared to last. I think this year he is more confident and probably able to relax and behave more naturally to how he is - last year although showing similar characteristics, it was understandable he'd be slightly more subdued than his normal, given he was thrust into the limelight having never been in it before - on the biggest show in the UK, being a newbie who was new to show as well as the country and didn't even speak the language very well! I think it would be difficult for anyone not to be even a bit more subdued than their normal in these circumstances. The fact Gio was able to show Zoe his rumba technique after only appearing twice on ITT for example, showed he was a confident, cheeky chappy and far from a shy, retiring type in that regard Now hes confident and no longer the newbie, I think hes just able to show his personality and what hes really like a bit more.

Christopher I quite like Daisy as a person, but can't say shes effected me either way in terms of the dancing.

Off with the family to take my 5 year old ice-skating for the first time
Enjoy the show tonight everyone (and the fireworks, for anyone thats going)

Hi everyone! Interestingly the last pic of Rachel's Gio liked it said something about wanting the fairy tale 🤔 Also although Georgia is commenting and liking George's instagrams he hasn't been doings the same in return.

Lovely that Georgia is supporting Daisy and Aljaz - I think she's as desperate as they'll be for them not to be in the dance off again, and having someone with almost 500K followers on Instagram asking them to vote for you ought to have some sort of positive effect!

she's very talkative, which may be an Irish thing, and I don't think Giovanni can get a word in edgeways ..... I shouldn't think he'll find it different as he's becoming more well known, is a superb choreographer and dancer, and should be in great demand

nor do I, he's just become more confident as his English is improved and he's not the "new boy" any more

looking forward to my five favourites. especially Laura/Giovanni and Danny /Oti .... Long Tall Sally is a great song to jive too, so it should be good .... have fingers crossed for a great samba tonight although last year's samba will be hard to beat as that dance was my favourite of all the G/G dances

Dee nice to "see" you again and pleased you enjoyed the show .... such a shame I didn't get to see it
