Last year I never warmed to Georgia and Giovanni. I do not know why but they just didn't grab me. This year I am loving the Laura/Giovanni partnership. Sorry! They are the couple for me who have the most chemistry on the dance floor. Last year Gio had only just learned English and he was in a new job so it was difficult for him. This year he is much more confident. He looks as if he has made friends with the other pros and he has a much better command of the language. Although things have not gone smoothly for them the stories in the tabloids, being in the bottom two early on and the ankle injury he seems more relaxed. It sounds as if he has had to give Laura a lot of support especially in the dance off and the week of the ankle injury so all credit to him. . I think Laura has a bubbly personality and he looks as if he is having fun too. I like the change in him.”
I agree that Gio has been very supportive of Laura so far and credit to him for that. It doesn't surprise me he has been as supportive as he has been - not only because he was exactly the same with Georgia last year, but because its his job, its what the pros do. And they do it very well. Having had to go through very tough times themselves in competitions, needing to have that self belief and strength at the most difficult times, they know well whats required to get through and what their partner needs. Gio has been extremely supportive to both Georgia and Laura and I don't doubt he will be the same to all his future partners. Just as all the pros tend to be with their partners (its no surprise just how appreciative practcally all the celebs are to their pro partners at the end of the show as they do rely on them throughout their vulnerable times and are so grateful for the support the pros are able to give them when they need it)
As for thinking Gio has changed for the better, or supporting Giovanni and Laura, theres certainly no need to say sorry for that

We're all going to have our favourites and who we like and support, theres nothing to apologise for! I'd just like to add that all GG fans will have their own opinions too and it would be inaccurate to think all of us feel the same way about everything or presume we feel a certain way because of a particular reason. With regards to your bit in bold for example, its not been difficult for me to accept the end of this relationship at all - personally speaking, I feel its actually for the better that its ended sooner rather than later - I definitely have no problems in 'accepting' that its over! As to whether Gios 'changed' or not.....I'd have to disagree with both you and some other GG fans - I don't think hes changed much at all. Just more confident this year to be more like himself, so we get to see him as he is. Whether we find his personality and characteristics attractive and appealing or more offputing and unattractive is all down to personal opinion of course
