Hmm I'm really quite worried for Laura and gio tonight! I'm struggling to see past a Laura v daisy dance off! I hope Daisy gets a break this week though! Just can't see ed, Greg or the judge in the bottom 2 yet

Well done Louise and Kevin 👏 But makes me sad we never got to see GG's AT. I mean the dance version and not Gio's version referred to in the periscope 😜

I know Of all the weeks to get poorly and not be able to do it bless her! I think their dance version of the AT would have been amazing! (Well I'm sure both versions would have been )

I loved Danny and Oti's jive,so fast, brilliant, thought it was better than Louise and Kevin's AT. Judge Rinder and Oksana danced well,he really loves it. Think Laura and Gio could be in trouble, not sure if I liked their samba, I even enjoyed Ed and Katya, good routine. Claudia and AJ had awful music but did a good paso. Not sure who will be in dance off. My votes went to Danny,Claudia and The Judge.

My three free web site votes go to Daisy - in the hopes it keeps her out of the DO !
Great week though - enjoyed it so much more than Halloween. |

Think gio might have shot himself in the foot this week and I don't think Bruno has done them any favours either. I think they will be in the bottom two maybe with daisy but if not her (although I don't think she deserves to be) I dont really know who.

There could even be a shock if Ore and Jo landed up in the DO this week - I thought their Salsa was very unappealing - does Ore have a huge fan club ? |

I think for me that was the best show of the series so far.
Laura & Gio think far too much Gio not enough Laura thought earlier in the week she was struggling. Possible dance off. |

Whoever is picking the music this year should be fired with immediate effect.
Wish they would stop giving Claudia and AJ teenybopper music. They're doing them no favours at all. How were they supposed to do a Paso to 'Shut up and Dance'. They were good given the crap music. Think Laura could go out and clap three times an turn and Bruno would give her a 9. Think Giovanni took more of a 'starring' role to cover up that Laura wasnt brilliant. . Did anyone else notice the similarities in between his choreo this year and last year. Think a big improvement in Greg in hold and thought Ed and the Judge were good too. Ed was actually dancing. Louise a Kevin were good too and he really is a great choreographer. Jo and Ore didn't do it for me this week. Dani and Oti great. Daisy definitely better at ballroom and just seemed to float. |

Brilliant show this week ![]() Ed and Rinder both really upped their game. I was very impressed! Daisy was beautiful - much better at Ballroom. Danny's Jive was good but it didn't wow me. Solid 9 but not a 10 IMO. Sadly, Laura was every bit as poor as I thought she'd be. Like Daisy, she's much better at Ballroom. Gio completely out danced her. Whether it was to take eyes off her, protect her poor performance or her ankle?? I don't know but it was a silly idea. Made her just look worse IMO. Cracking music though. Claudia really draws the short straw with the music, eh? But cracking performance. She's becoming a favourite of mine ![]() And Louise!! Wow! Wow!! WOW!! Loved it!! Does make me sad we never got a GG Argentine Tango though ![]() Quote:

Alton I agree about the similarities in the choreography, but it doesn't do Laura any favours as you end up comparing sambas.
My favourite was Danny. My votes went to Danny, Daisy and Robert. It's going to be interesting to see who is in the dance-off tonight. It's too tight to call.

Well Strictly was interesting wasn't it ?!!
![]() Loved Oti and Danny as always. I know it isn't about the Pro but I think she has really shined this year and is so suited to her partner. I thought Louise and Kev were the best I have seen them so far in my very non-professional dance expert opinion haha ![]() .I also enjoyed watching Greg and Natalie and the Judge and Oksana. Don't know what happened with Gio and Laura but I agree with you Afton, I think Gio danced like the worlds fastest spinning man to try to make the dance look better than it was. Some people on twitter saying he was trying to take a starring role but I think he honestly thought he was trying to help his partner. The music was better than last week which is probably why I enjoyed so many dances. Dance off result should be very interesting tonight. I am now going to have to wait for the spoiler - arghhh! |

Lots of negativity re Gio. Last year I was a Jay/ Aliona so it is easier for me to accept the end of his partnership/relationship with Georgia. Not many Strictly romances last. Once out of the Strictly bubble couple find they don't have as much in common as they thought they did. . I went into Strictly with an open mind this year. Last year I never warmed to Georgia and Giovanni. I do not know why but they just didn't grab me. This year I am loving the Laura/Giovanni partnership. Sorry! They are the couple for me who have the most chemistry on the dance floor.
don't be sorry for loving the Giovanni/Laura partnership as it would be boring if we all liked the same couple ![]() Quote:

Possible dance off. ....... superb spins and bachacadas thoughI liked all the dances from my favourites, especially Danny and Louise and thought Robert looked good in his tails, also like watching AJ really hope Gio and Laura get through to next week as they'll probably have a ballroom dance which should be better for her

I hope they get through I'm just not sure they will escape the dance off unfortunately! And unless Laura makes a miraculous recovery and pulls something great out the bag there is only 1 possibly 2 people who she could be saved against! I'm eagerly waiting for the spoiler to arrive! Though I think Bruno will save them over almost everyone so it will come down to Len I think!
![]() do you mean Ed and Greg? anyway, maybe there will be a shock exit, were you here when Pixie was voted off? there was outrage on the forum I shall wait for the spoiler too and have fingers and toes crossed that Giovanni and Laura will be OK

I wonder if all these people who are saying Laura was "terrible" and "wooden" could have done any better, I doubt it

I am not discounting the fact that Laura's injury was a factor and a slower dance would have helped but she showed the same lack of style as in her week 1 Cha Cha. Gio is getting a lot of flack but I think he over danced as a diversion - we saw him do it twice last year with Georgia - in the week 1 Jive which was asking far too much of a novice and in the Cha Cha when Georgia had very little training time. He must have known in training that this dance tonight would not be great and so did his best to protect his partner - he could have slowed it down slightly and the spins at the end were a trifle OTT. Must have been as the Judges mentioned it. Gio loves the Samba he must be mortified
