I guess he did it because of the injury which is still an issue but I think he took it too far and made her look worse then she is.

They are not my favourites by far. So I'm OK either way.

I have given up trying to guess what Georgia means in her quotes - I shouldn't think anyone would put her down about her ability to Samba so we can discount that at least !
I agree with the "regret nothing" and especially anything and anybody to do with strictly and that is all I am gonna say

Yes GG's samba was great and she can be very proud of herself.
I have just had to post a throwback pic. Happy days.............

Well done Louise and Kevin 👏 But makes me sad we never got to see GG's AT. I mean the dance version and not Gio's version referred to in the periscope 😜
Well done Louise !

And everyone else who's said how good it was ... what a fab dance! Wish we could have seen one from G & G.
Louise and Kevin are my cat's favourites this year ... A couple of weeks ago he walked into the sitting room when Strictly was on and stopped and stared at the TV. He then jumped up in a chair, watched Kevin and Louise and, as soon as they had finished, jumped down from the chair and left the room.
This evening he was asleep in the chair while Strictly was on, but woke up when Kevin and Louise came on, watched their dance and then, as soon as they had finished, once aqgain he jumped down off the chair and left the room. (I think he may have gone to ring the bookies and increase his bet)

I hated Laura saying on the red carpet about Gio knowing Joan Collins......he had no idea who she was when she sent Georgia that tweet last year.....and how could Giovanni let it be used this year knowing that - and why oh why did SCD use that in that VT..... pits!!!!!!!

I am so pleased at least Craig didn't hold back at Gio and in a way Len too!! Bruno.....well they could have just stood there and it was a 9 from him! I wonder does Bruno realise Claudia is Italian too???? maybe not!!!!

I see Caroline there, and as she's unfollowed Laura on Instagram this while now, I can only suspect she's backing Daisy by being there!!

Not sure how votes will go, but I have voted for D&A, C&Aj, R&Oksana (who's a great choreographer).......i have a feeling my telephone bill is rocketing already... all the youngsters around i know are voting for Claudia & Aj ... they rock!!!

Love this story.
Does your cat normally pick out the winners when he places a bet?!
If he does I am off to the bookies myself in the morning

No, his track record his pretty poor really. I usually ignore him and I would advise you to do the same if you want to stay solvent The octopus that did the World Cup forecasting was much better.

Sandy I agree - he did over dance and whilst he probably shouldn't have, I don't agree with those who say that they will be in danger because it it. I think Laura was weak - whether due to her ankle or not. And to blame Gio is to be in denial of that, in my view. As many on the main board have said - there were shades of Ola and Kristina who used to gyrate to distract from their partner's shortcomings.

Laura and Gio's tango was genuinely my favourite dance last week but I can't see them avoiding the dance off this week.

Patti, I genuinely have no idea what your concern is re Joan Collins! It was just a flippant comment and I don't think anyone was genuinely suggesting that he knows her, but either way, I can't see the issue at all!

Ha! Like that octopus that used to predict the football winners!

I'm only just finishing watching the show - I was out earlier - just at the end now, watching Claudia and AJ. Man, I'm no particular fan of theirs but they've consistently been given the most inappropriate choices of music! I have no idea how he's managed to choreograph some of their dances!

Well obviously not ruby but then they have not had 8 weeks or so of professional dance training !

There was a marked improvement in all the dancers tonight - except Laura and I think Ore who didn't excel for me.

I am not discounting the fact that Laura's injury was a factor and a slower dance would have helped but she showed the same lack of style as in her week 1 Cha Cha.

Gio is getting a lot of flack but I think he over danced as a diversion - we saw him do it twice last year with Georgia - in the week 1 Jive which was asking far too much of a novice and in the Cha Cha when Georgia had very little training time.
He must have known in training that this dance tonight would not be great and so did his best to protect his partner - he could have slowed it down slightly and the spins at the end were a trifle OTT.
Must have been as the Judges mentioned it.

Gio loves the Samba he must be mortified
even if people had eight weeks of professional dance training I don't think many could have done better, I know I couldn't as I'd be a nervous wreck on the Strictly dance floor and would probably forget everything .... was it in the G/G cha cha when Gio did a series of amazing spins ?

I'm sure both Giovanni and Laura will be disappointed after their samba and I'm now wishing more than ever that he's been paired with Louise

Mrs Glitterball I'm pleased to hear that Louise and Kevin are your cat's favourite as I wouldn't mind if they won .... my cats are hiding in the cupboard under the stairs as they're frightened of the fireworks which seem to be going off all round our house

Aww Mrs G. Nice to have you 'back'. Missed you 😉
How spooky is your cat 🐱🙀
My poor dog has been sitting in a Corner of the dining room all night. There have been fireworks going off all night and only finished about half 10. Argghhhhhhh 😤😤😡😡

Hello everyone
Oh no I hope NDD and Brian didn't hurt themselves in the rush to be first!!!
No scrapping you two
I'm not making any promises Jen!! NDD said he was about 6 foot I seem to remember, I'm about 5 foot 9 and a half so if I lost in this scrap it would be because of the height difference of course.

Don't want to speak too soon but think I've git rid of that bloody pop up 😤😤😡😡
Thank goodness for that Afton - lovely to have you on here posting again!

Ore and Gio in a sequin suit and........... Pudsey ears.

Do you have sequin envy Brian or is it just the shiny one you prefer?

Well remember when Georgia wore that blue lipstick ... I think I'm getting a bit of a penchant for blue things, so Ore's suit rather tickles my fancy. Though if I had to make a choice, naturally the shiny suit would be first on the list!

He could, of course, have won the lottery several times but decided to keep it secret and just be spending it all on sardines and Whiskas cat milk

Anton must be thrilled! How lovely for them

Awww Thank you darling.
Cat is currently partaking of a light snack and half a gallon of catmilk before he goes out for the night - so many voles, so little time. He has appeared to be unfazed by sound of fireworks tonight. Obviously thinking happy thoughts about K & L and how much money he might win.

The Fireworks are still going on where I live - dog curled up on the sofa unconcerned but next doors dog has barked all night

I think this might be what it used to be like living in down town Beirut
