Mrs G don't set me off please! I can't help it blame it on reading too much Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer when I was younger. Whatever makes both Georgia and Gio happy makes me happy. But I agree with everyone her response may not be what he has hoped and there is the added complication of another suitor on the scene!

Feeling for Gio at the moment this blaming of him on Laura's exit is ridiculous! Laura is out because the public didn't vote for her. It's the pro-dancer's role to teach and the celeb to get the votes in, simples (said in the accent of Meer Cat!).

Don't forget peoples (still in Meer Cat mode) it's one day less to seeing the glory that will be the Ed Balls salsa to Gangnam style!

I really think Katya is a great addition to the family too! She has done amazing with Ed and you can really see some improvement! I like Oksana too though and of course the lovely gorka- it's just a shame we didn't see more of him this year but hopefully he will do similar to Oti next year!

In honour of Ed the clock counting down to the next live Strictly should be changed to countdown to Ed's alluring salsa

All the new pro's have been great and added some new fresh choreography. They also seem more harmonious as a group.

I've read some comments that some people think because Gio hasn't had the best of Strictly's this year he may go (in their words shipped off) to DWTS. This would make me really sad as he's my favourite pro, a fantastic dancer and choreographer. I'm sure around the time of Brexit he said he would be here for the next 2 years. I'm sorry Neil Jones may be really nice/funny/great dancer etc but he doesn't have Gio's looks or hips (I can be quite shallow sometimes!).

She did not do a gushy speech I admit. Not everyone can especially in a highly emotional situation. I don't necessarily see that as a negative. I noticed Laura does not feel comfortable getting compliments either. She changes the subject. She did it on Loose Women.Heidi who writes a live Strictly blog for the Guardian had an alternative theory to the rift theory. She was there on the night and said their speeches were very formal. She wondered if those speeches hid their true feelings. Giovanni got it spot on I felt. Very professional. Nothing he said was plastered as headlines but he praised Laura nevertheless. Laura did not deal with it as well. There was NOTHING in their body language either last night or on Saturday to suggest any kind of a rift. Yes Laura was visibly upset on Saturday after her mistake. After the dance off she walked across the floor with her arms outstretched to him. Not the body language of someone who had had a row with someone. Re the twitter fiasco. Here is another thought guys. Maybe not one you want to hear. Laura no longer needs to communicate with Giovanni on twitter as she will not be working professionally with him and if she did every word would be analysed by the tabloid press and many others. Maybe she prefers to say things in private to him. That way the tabloid press do not get the headlines they crave.

I see we have more than our nationalities in common Afton! (my eldest daughter has glanced at my phone saying 'why did you download the snapchat app?' but its not gone any further than that as yet!). My five year old is kind of in the know as she loves to look at Georgias vids. Gio has liked an instragram posted by Frankie Bridge about her hubby going on I'm a Celeb. As we all know Frankie is doing the Christmas special could Gio be her dance partner? I thought it would be Gorka. I pity the male pro who gets Pamela Stephenson!

OMG I do hope the ring dosnt rear it's head again. I did notice last night that while Gio had his arms crossed for must of the interview. When they were showing their hi-lights I thought Laura was very tactile with Gio ! Oh my do you think we have missed something between them ! 😂😂 after all the Guardian lady was actually there on Saturday.

Do we know why after a lot of years of being friends with Laura why Caroline(flack ) has unfollowed her ? That's quite strange don't you think ! Not that I understand all this following and unfollowing !

Best of luck to Wayne Bridge as he enters the Jungle. Frankie seemed to enjoy being on the tour last year with Georgia and Giovanni and all the others.

Finally managed a catch up of last weekends dances and results. Just briefly, I do think Claudia and AJ are doing really well. Claudia is a little trouper I think. I think the music for their dances has been noticeably difficult and they have been slightly under marked by one or two points.

I did like the Rumba Louise performed. She deserved her marks.

I think Ed and Katya did brilliantly again. I tried to imagine the series without them being in it and felt the series would be much poorer for it. Ed is surprisingly agile, and he is definitely improving. Kat's humorous choreography is very nice.

It was a difficult dance off: but just going on what happened in Laura's first dance that night. She did make a noticeable error in front of the judges and the content was a little limited. She did manage to travel though. I think that her position on the leaderboard was correct and that included a very generous mark from Bruno.

The public vote was with other dance couples on the night.

As has been mentioned perhaps Giovanni may get a Christmas Show partner and I agree that the line up is slightly underwhelming.

No I don't really think that Gio will be buying a ring anytime soon

I think Laura is a professional media person and handled that ITT interview brilliantly as she did the end of the programme - whether all the tweets from outraged supporters got to her overnight causing her to snap I don't know but that may account for all the unfollowing - but all restored now

I think Gio did all the over dancing including the spins to cover her - perhaps a little too obviously and also enjoying it a bit too much perhaps, but with the absolute best of intensions - by the time they got up to see Claudia I think his insensitivity carrying on spinning when Laura was so upset was not good - but he is male so what can you do with him !
He was very caring last year with Georgia so we probably assumed he was always that considerate - probably not.

Usually the partners of the celebs go out to Australia too while they are in the jungle - only they stay in that really posh hotel.
So I am guessing Frankie Bridge and James Jordan are in for a nice holiday !
(although I don't know how the dates will work out for Frankie if she is doing the Strictly Christmas Special)
I checked the list of names of this years celebs and two more Strictly ladies are involved - Carol Vorderman and Lisa Snowdon - rather them than me I have to say.

Snapchat : or rather this one is a Snapcat. Bob the BAT cat is having quite a moment. I think he is meeting press. Georgia is there and can be heard asking Bob what treat he has. Think Georgia is tempting Bob out of his travel box. Bob is lovely.. Alicia🐈

I think if you look again you will find he only had arms folded for a very short time while they were watching the bit about the cha cha/walz.. Heidi, the Guardian lady doesn't hold back. She would have said if there had been anything specific other than the obvious chemistry between them so no need to worry. I think she found their speeches a contrast to their body language that is all. I think Giovanni got it spot on. He talked in a lovely way about Laura and he sounded genuine but nothing he said hit the tabloids. Laura I think would find it difficult to thank Gio properly without getting emotional. I noticed she gets uncomfortable when she gets compliments too. However if she did do gushy kind of speech the tabloids would have gone into over drive so I was glad of that.
