Haha!!
He's learned something from his 8 months with Georgia then, even if it's only the art of posting annoyingly vague 'news announcements!!'

Hi Brian!! Greetings from dahn sarf!!!

Yes her reviews have been just fabulous in the main!! It sounds quite an involved part to play & she seems to have just taken it in her stride!!
None of us on here ever doubted her ability & talent but I hope others who were less complimentary have taken the trouble to read some of the reviews & have now eaten their words & are suffering mild indigestion!!

Yes, the lifts aren't spot on but there'd been a few training room incidents that week, but there's some really fancy footwork from Georgia going on in there - I enjoy the whole feel
of the dance very much! ”

This was the week before their 'big breakthrough' with the Tango wasn't it!!

Loved the energy &enthusiasm Georgia put into it & that spin series immediately before showing perfect poise & balance in the 'Dirty Dancing' lift is something I still view with wonder!!
She was GOOD even then, make no mistake about it, in fact for me she was a real contender from the week three Rumba onwards!!
Nothing about Gios partnersip with Laura this year made me feel like they were ever going t be contenders despite really liking their week two Waltz & their traditional Tango at Hallowe'en

Just watched their salsa -thank you Brian and NDD! I forgot how much I enjoyed it, I don't think there is a dance I didn't enjoy though I must say!

Then I watched the paso which I loved! So so undermarked! And then I watched the show dance it really was beautiful! I don't think the judges really appreciated it, it definitely deserved a couple of 10's

Most welcome! No sign of it as yet this morning!

I know - where's the time gone?!

Whitby?! That's not just the Sarf, that the deep Saaarf!!

And absolutely NDD - the reviews have been just wonderful on the whole, and for a first her first time in theatre it really is magnificent!! As you say NDD, it comes as no surprise to me or anyone else on here what a success she's been - talent, ability, being an all round lovely person - of course she was going to be a success!

Yes it was the week before her Ghostbusters Tango - I hadn't realized that Craig actually only gave that an 8 - I'd like to know where at least one of the other two marks went, Craig!!

For her Salsa she got a score of 7,8,8,8 (31) - and if there hadn't been a few understandable problems with the lifts I think we would've had three 9s rather than 8s!

Saying that she'd already got her first 9 the week before (from Len) for her wonderful Quickstep - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwCNpMoDeJk

The Salsa's got a really great party vibe - I love it, even the whole entrance and stuff they make, it's great!

I mean we had quite a few undermarked dances (in fact all of them apart from their final Charleston of course ) but that Paso was perhaps the most blatantly undermarked out of all of them! Still fuming about that!!

I bloody love that quickstep!! Didn't Craig give it a 7??

I just watched the Viennese waltz for the first time since you know what happened! Another one of their undermarked dances- let's praise it completely, no negative comments in sight and then give it a 9 I expect that kind of behaviour from Craig but Len I am looking at you!!!!

Darcey gave the Quickstep a 7 too!

And as for the VW that's just another one of the ridiculously undermarked dances - if you're going to deduct marks at that stage of the competition at least give the contestants the benefit of knowing what they could have done to get the extra mark. As you say Craig generally just deducts a mark as a rule of thumb, but Leonard - what were you thinking?!

Instagram liked by Georgia. A certain gentleman and his motor bike and I have to admit he looks very handsome in this picture (still prefer Gio though ).

You're right Darcey gave it a 7 too!! What was she thinking

Exactly, there was no reason whatsoever that I can think of to excuse Len for not reaching for his 10 paddle!

George does look hot there though 😜 Not sure which one I prefer I just know I would not say no to either of them

Georgia does have amazing taste in men (though she can afford to have high standards ) apart from LSM of course!

I bet that news is really going to be a big disappointment - probably the tour !

I agree both George and Gio are very pleasing on the eye unlike Mr Angry looking and in personality LSM

Some happy news only 1 day more until we see Ed's Gangnam style salsa. I hope he doesn't let us all down. I want to see Psy's signature moves

It's the only dance I am looking forward to - sad state of affairs

Well I'll assume as Len gave no justification for the marking down of the VW that he had no justification!

And then if we though the semi final marking was petty and ridiculous - she loses her balance for half a second in the Rumba and has 4 marks deducted - unbelievable! Then the show dance in which she does blindfolded acrobatics, she has 4 marks deducted for a marginally raised shoulder - which I still think was in keeping with the emotion and tenseness of the dance!

AND it was the same with the American Smooth - excepting Craig as usual, but why the 9 from Darcey?! She hasn't explained herself either!

Aaaand then even in the Foxtrot, just the slightest of raised shoulders in the extensions and she gets another 4 marks deducted! That Foxtrot was perfection - give me a break!!

Anyway, it has to be said, I'm still a little bit cross at some of the marking that went on last year - don't know if you could tell?!

I'm the same, I was looking forward to Danny and Oti's AT until they announced the song. How can you do an AT to Marvin Gaye's 'I heard it through the grapevine'!!!!

Oh I cannot wait!!! It's going to be the highlight for sure! I think everyone will do a good job tomorrow night but eds salsa is going to be the one dance that will keep everyone interested

That said I'll look forward to Claudia and Louise as always! I always look forward to danny and Oti too and I'm intrigued to see their Argentine tango to that song

Oh don't get me started lol! The judges marks are often bonkers I guess! The final it was blatantly obvious who the judges were favouring! I have nothing against Kellie and kevin either but there was no way their tango was a 40 dance!! No way!!

I totally agree with you both GG undermarked on so many occassions! It especially makes me angry when you look at some of this year's dances and what GG got. I think you get a truer picture if you look at the rankings. Saying that GG were for me the best dancers on finals night. They fully showcased different dancing styles, Gio's creativity/story telling and different emotions. I always knew Jay would win but it would have been nice if the judges had put GG on top of the leader board.

I wonder if George was the person sending her funny voice notes that made her laugh out loud in public yesterday.

I'm sure Gio's news is strictly tour related and nothing to get too excited over. Then again i could be wrong and it could be a jaw dropping announcement.

I look forward to seeing Daisy, Judge Rinder and Claudia dance and i'm especially excited about Ed's Gangnam salsa but everyone else i'm really not fussed about this year.

Precisely, Claire. Kellie and Kevin seemed to be grinning all the way through it for a start, and I'm sure it was technically excellent but you (well, I!) didn't look at that dance and say, yes it's a 40! The marking was really off particularly in the final.

That's exactly what drew her apart for me specifically on the finals night, Georgia showed such a tremendous versatility on that night (Bruno commented on it specifically I seem to remember) an entirely different persona for each dance, all danced exceptionally. #wewozrobbed

Well, unfortunately, it's not a choice for Georgia's making considering she was given the old heave ho by a certain someone. I know virtually nothing about George, but out of those two I'd pick him

My choice
Spoiler

I see no reason for Georgia to even look at any other guy with Charlie DeMelo hanging around Other than hes older, maybe gay, maybe got a girlfriend/boyfriend, maybe she doesn't fancy him, maybe just sees him as a friend. Apart from that, I find it surprising

Hes gorgeous, such a lovely guy (and he likes all her pics and says lovely things about her) He must be gay or attached - or Georgias taste is very different to mine

It sounds as though you're quite interested in politics, but singing and dancing are my favourite things

we lived in Hull for a year as my husband was based there with his job and it was quite an experience, while we were "up there", we visited Newcastle a couple of times and also went to the Beamish museum which was very interesting

Gareth is looking for amateur choirs in the deep South West this week ... including Guernsey but, I'll let you know how "your" choir gets on, if you'd really like to know

I've just heard Tina Turner sing this song at twice the speed of Marvin Gaye's version so I expect Danny will dance to a "jazzed up" Heard It Through the Grapevine
