I thought Gio looked a lot happier tonight - I am wondering if his song quote about a new dawn etc was his relief that his 2016 celeb partnership was over !

I don't think it has been the happiest time for him - I hope he now realises how lucky he was last year.

Yes I noticed he seemed more natural and care free tonight. We're still waiting on his 'big announcement'! Good to see him looking happier. I'm sure Blackpool week will bring back some memories for him.

I've been checking up on the Made in Cardiff catch up thing all week and for some reason they seemed to have completely stopped putting the shows on catch up at the moment. When I first checked on Thursday (i.e. the day the show was aired) they already had Wednesday's up and now it's the end of Saturday and there's no sign of Thursday's! Most annoying for them to decide to stop at that particular date!

Snapchat : Georgia and Katie are out and about really enjoying Cardiff life. They both look beautiful. They have found a place with good music and meet boys with maracas, a boy who is on his stag do, and a really tall man to mention just a few. Double martini's. Lots of banter and the best sexy dancing from Georgia. Ariana Grande plays, I think it is Side to Side.

There isn't anyone I dislike really but this series still isn't coming close to last year for me! It's not just about GG even though they obviously made the series for me! but I enjoyed performances from Jay , Kellie, Anita and Helen each week!

She is completely 'normal' as most people who happen to be in the limelight should be imo its a shame more aren't like her!

But as I mentioned before, aside from generally just being a lovely, down to earth girl...she's much friendlier than most (including non-celebs). I'm sure Star and Lozzer will agree - within minutes you're chatting away like old mates!

As for the show:

Loved Dannys AT - after being wowed by it, it was a bit disappointing to hear Craig and Darcys negativity. I'm definitely in the Bruno camp with this one.

Ive not been an Ed fan, neither am I usually a fan of the joke couple, but that Salsa was so entertaining, as was his Charleston. Katya really is doing such a good job with him.

I enjoyed all the dances last night Claudia, Roberts and Louises in particular. Shame Daisy got that dance last night, difficult for her to stand out in comparison to the others, loved the song, and she really suited that look. Of all the couples, I'd probably miss Greg and Ore the least, but still like them both and don't really want anyone to go. Loved the show last night.

It's funny how we will all see things differently isn't it - I didn't love Danny and Oti's AT and agreed with Craig and Darcey - too frantic. I mean obviously I could see that they were great, but they just didn't do it for me.

No one is really grabbing me yet this year. Though there's time yet (the year I was a big Kara and Artem fan, it was their AS in Blackpool that did it).

Bizarrely their dance that I've liked the most was the Halloween one, with the cord, even though they went wrong. I think they are almost certain to win it this year (unless Ed does!!)

Will the judges try to influence people to stop voting for Ed soon ?

They usually put the boot in with comedy turns at about this time in the competition - but Ed is somewhat different, although he is never going to become a great ballroom dancer he is working hard and improving his basic skills as well as his comedy ones.
Plus he has a great partner who is actually enjoying dancing with him.

I think Danny will win - but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if Ed made the Finals.

He also had his hand in his pocket when he walked Dow the stairs with Tess. A new bad habit?

Totally agree,he was brilliant. Not a great song for AT but they did the best they could with it. There are mixed opinions about Danny but I think he comes across as a lovely young man.
