And bearing in mind Emily is a close friend of Laura, and Caroline is a close friend of Georgia, it also shows how strange his activity on-line is too - weird activity hes had from the start, some of which I personally haven't liked at all (when he was with Georgia)
I hope its just a sudden urge to look back on old times fondly that hes had (not that I think Gio necessarily wants back with Georgia) but I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to remind her that hes still around after seeing her posts yesterday, as shes giving more of an indication that she seems to be moving forward now.
I hope that at some stage they can be civil to one another (would be easier at Aljaz and Janettes wedding
). And it would be a terrible shame if they couldn't look back at their SCD experience fondly as their dances were too amazing not to, However given how much Georgia loved Gio, and the devastation she was was left with, I'm more than delighted and proud of her for showing the amazing strength she has to cope with her debut so brilliantly despite it all - and come out shining. Its been so hard for her in so many ways - but I'm sure shes passed the worst now. While I think shes on her way, I don't doubt a like from Gio will still affect her in some way, she did love him so much. I only hope it doesn't play with her mind and take her back a few steps though, as shes gone through enough emotional turmoil. I do hope though its a general positive thing, they move on without animosity and Georgia continues on being the success she is, surrounding herself with people who care about her - and show it - and treat her well.
I'm having to disappear again - nothing to do with you lovely guys, of course
In fact you are mostly the problem...and reason for my addiction that is eating too much into my life! I wish I could be someone who pops in for a minute, posts and leaves....but I get too sucked in and end up spending ridiculous amounts of time on-line instead. So I can't even try and pop in less - it wouldn't work with me
. I'm going to have to go 'cold turkey'
and just not come near DS for a few months - and hopefully be able to come back next year and be at the stage of being able to just 'pop in' then! And pop in to comment on the dances, not get involved in anything beyond that!
But for my familys sake (I'm falling way behind with real life stuff too) I have to try and sort out my addiction. Love to you all and thanks for all the giggles and great convos along the way. You really are a fab bunch and I will miss the banter! Wishing Georgia all the best (if you're reading!) will still follow what you're up to on twitter - and if Stars going to any more shows to see you, I hope she contacts me via twitter and I might join her

Aw no Humpty, you’ll be sorely missed – for your warmth, humour, words of wisdom and all round general loveliness! You know, since you’ve been posting on this thread I think I must have agreed with just about every single thing you’ve said, I say ‘just about’ because I can’t necessarily say that I share the same feeling of physical attraction as you do to Mr. De Melo

... but on everything else we’re absolutely agreed! Thus it will come as no surprise that I agree with everything you’ve said in this post.
You’re quite right of course, Giovanni’s social media activity isn’t unusual, I mean to say it is unusual of course, but it is indeed not unusual for him. You’re quite right also in that it had been quite noticeable, especially in the past few days that Georgia has been looking much more positively about things generally. She will have been through a lot of emotional turmoil, let’s be honest, because of the decisions made by Giovanni, so at the time at which it seems she is really starting to move past it a little bit, to then see him liking pictures of you I’m sure is just about as welcome (to use a quote used by Geordie legend Jimmy Nail) as a fart in an astronauts suit.... well that would be my feelings anyway. Speaking of which, I heard a rumour somewhere that Giovanni actually previously enrolled at Trump university (there is nothing that The Donald can’t make money out of) – I believe the course was ‘how to treat women well”...
To an extent, of course, Georgia has been forced to be relatively positive (or at least appear to be) what with her first theatre role coming so soon after the split, and she deserves the highest, highest credit for her huge success in that role, especially considering the circumstances surrounding it. We know that Georgia is an extremely strong lady, and, like you Humpty, I hope that she will be able to look back at her time on Strictly with fondness, and learnt a lot from the relationship that followed it –
this quote posted by Georgia on Instagram several weeks back seems apt.
But, Humpty, you really will be missed, your rational, warm, humorous posts will be missed a great deal! I’m already looking forward to the next time you ‘pop in’ here!
Ruby - what a horrible couple of days you must have had – so glad that he’s been found safe.
Delly - thank you for all the typing you've done, it must have taken you ages!
Btw on that Instagram from Georgia tonight – I like her lipstick. A lot.
