The negative vibes just go on and on. It all started because Giovanni ended a relationship that was not working for him. Fact. People do that all the time. None of us would want to be in a relationship that no longer works for us. It is his choice, his life. Although it felt like a fairytale to many because of Strictly we must remember it was real life. Two people who did fall in love then one decided that they wanted to move on. There was no one else involved. Fact. Laura had nothing to do with the break up. Fact.

No-one has said that Laura had anything to do with the break up! (that would be ridiculous) Which happened before they were paired together. I'm not sure why you are even mentioning the break up - I don't see the relevance of that regarding Laura and Gio's apparent falling out (especially given that the seemed to get on well at the outset - well, until the latter stages really) - I don't see anyone here suggesting that the break up had anything to do with them falling out, either.

Sorry, but I'm a bit confused. I had no bias against Laura and Gio and (apart from possibly the odd person) I think most of us were the same. They just didn't end up being a favourite partnership of mine (though as I was saying earlier - I don't really have one this year), but that's nothing to do with Georgia. I'm intrigued as to why they fell out - and all this following and unfollowing malarkey. All very odd.

A. You do not know any of those things as fact. (I do not disagree with some of the things you say but they have never been proven as fact.)

B. Reporting that Gio has stopped following Laura is not a negative vibe. That, unlike anything you said, is a proven fact.

Fabulous partnership. Ed is so lucky to have been partner with Katya. She's perfect for him. I don't think he could've got this far without her. She gives it a 100% and totally gets him.

Also agree with the other points! I don't understand why you feel the need to pop in here to tell us off for discussing the FACT that Gio has unfollowed Laura on instagram! It's not being negative we're just curious as to what has happened!

You can think it's because some people don't need to communicate through social media to be friends! and blah blah but to me Laura unfollowing Gio almost straight after being eliminated makes a pretty big statement in my eyes!

I guess you will just have to agree that we have differing opinions on this!

You seem fixated on getting this thread to agree with you that 'Lavanni' was a wonderful partnership. that they adored each other and continue to do so against all the evidence to the contrary.

I for one couldn't care less about Laura who now seems to have made an amazing recovery and is stomping about as usual to the opening of an envelope wearing 8inch heels.
My impression is that Laura wasn't as good a dancer as she thought she was going to be - having blamed the 'Curse of Strictly' headlines, the injury and everything else she now blames Gio.

Gio was spoilt last year he had a celeb partner who was a natural and talented dancer and was prepared to train for long hours and embrace the whole Strictly experience - he was very unlucky this year - he got a partner who was too tall and was IMO ungainly none of which was what one could have hoped for him.
We all hoped Gio would be partnered with Louise or Anastacia and I am sure so does he,
With Louise he would have made the final possibly and with Anastacia he would have made a really good friend.
With neither of them would he be embroiled in newspaper leaks from his celeb partner questioning his professional attitude and behaviour.

I think unless there is any further evidence that 'Lavanni' were a partnership made in Heaven you are very much on your own in caring anything about them as a duo.

Issfan why do you feel the need to come here all the time to defend Laura. What part of our replies are you not understanding. No one on this GG appreciation thread blames Laura for the GG break-up. This is not a Laura appreciation thread. The fact. Is Laura unfollowed Giovanni almost immediately after their elimination. Having studied journalism at DUC and gaining a degree in this, Laura knows very well how the media works, so she would know that this 'unfollowing' would be picked up almost immediately. Intentional / unintentional, take your pick. Take it you are missing our witty banter then.
