Evening everyone. Haven't posted recently - I've been away a lot - but I thought I'd pop back in.


Yes "G" certainly likes his bling. I'm sorry but I still can't quite take to him apart from the fact that he can cook! However, if he makes Georgia happy that's all that matters................ At least the 2 of them will be able to spend a whole weekend together for the first time in a while. I hope they are having a lot of fun. Maybe we'll get to see some more of those teasing snapchats.


Could he by any chance be doing a tour??

I can see that Gio was probably fairly desperate to reach the final on Strictly or even win this year as a selling point for his tour. It must have been very frustrating for him when things didn't work out as he hoped. The tour sounds a bit down market but I hope it does well and they manage to shift plenty of tickets. I also hope that it comes to somewhere near me.

BTW I went to see Flavia and Vincent's show "The last Tango" in London last week and really enjoyed it. To see those two doing a full blooded Argentine Tango together at the end was amazing! The other dancers were very good as well. I wonder whether Gio will be able to afford live musicians or whether he will simply have to have recorded music. I really hope that he doesn't succumb to the urge to sing on his show!

Unfortunately, Jammy it's too late and I have noticed the photographs! I do wonder if Georgia is somewhat disinclined to fully trust people who give her rings now (just joking, of course!).

So Jen, you're saying that my superbly accurate ring analyses aren't wanted anymore - I mean I know I spent ages trying to persuade you to stop asking me to do them, but now you've told me that you never want to read one again - well I'm not sure I'm comfortable with that! Though by the looks of things it wasn't just me who was a tad confused as to what these rings meant in terms of the relationship...

I'm sure Giovanni is perfectly at peace with himself, he made the decision that he'd rather play the field (or for him as many fields as possible!) so he spends his time flirting with women by liking as many pictures as possible on Instagram - it seems to be what he enjoys doing (especially as he actually did it whist he was with Georgia!) And by the looks of things has had quite a degree of success in this Instagram given he was spotted, quite by accident, in Sheffield a few Sundays ago so goodness knows where else he's been!

Feel for Claudia- I was expecting at least a 10 for the judges and doing that dance and then the cha cha challenge moments later (just like GG doing that paso and the the quickstep Athon after) I would like to seem them go through!

Didn't think Ed's routine was as funny this week - but I voted for him anyway because Danny and Oti won't need my help !

Totally agree no way ore should have got a ten and not Claudia. The only judge who marks ore correctly is Craig.

Think the judge could be in the dance off and will go unless he is against ed which is sad because he is obviously loving it.

My votes went to Robert. I was going to split my votes but thought he and Oksana were under marked in the Cha Cha challenge which Danny/Oti should have been ranked first. The songs put me off some of the dances tonight especially Ore's and Claudia's.

Always makes me sad when I watch an Argentine tango as we never got to see GG dance theirs.

It's going to be very interesting who leaves tonight.

They are going to think that, Star, because Georgia has been more open about going out with someone else. Gio has been very discreet so far, and is not obviously involved with anyone else yet. I don't think liking pictures on instagram and twitter count...

Of course, Gio and Georgia are the only two who know the true circumstances of the split, but if you look at the apparent current status of the two, it looks like she is moving on first and was likely to be the one to call it a day.

So because Georgia is going out with someone she ended it? Yeah I get that Logic

Giovanni is putting pictures on Instagram to get female company, which I am sure he has got.

Random musings on tonight's strictly:-

I enjoyed Danny and Oti's samba the most tonight.
They are a great partnership and seem the most "in sync" and have an air of excitement about them. Bruno's comments about them were funny tonight.
Overall I hope they win. Collaw will be pleased if they do

I think dance off will be Ed and Judge with Judge leaving.
I think "the public" are still determined to try and get Ed to the final come what may.
But when am I ever right ?! Erm never

I've got to say AJ has done really well to take on board Strictly. I was unsure how he would deal with such a huge show being relatively young, but he has coped brilliantly and been a good teacher and partner for Claudia.

I didn't say that was the case - I said that is why they assume that. In my experience, the one ending a relationship is generally more receptive to a new one than someone who was happy in the relationship they had, but who knows? Georgia said in her tweet it was mutual and Gio confirmed it.

I'm old and don't understand twitter/instagram so I don't get how Gio posting his modelling pics get him female company, but I'll take your word for it!

I voted for Ore. I think he could be in danger (though the Cha Cha challenge helped a bit by separating him from a draw with Claudia). I don't think he's particularly popular and I know a lot of people can't take to him but I like him - and he's done my 2 favourite dances this series - his jive and the Singing in the rain AS so I'd be disappointed to see him go.

Judge Rinder had been one of my favourites but I think it's possibly his time to go. I don't think Ed is going anywhere. I'd be fine with Claudia going, but I suspect she'd be saved over anyone but Louise and Danny this week. Both of those front runners are good - I can appreciate that - but they don't really grab me
