I don't have a favourite this year. I liked Danny's samba very much, wasn't so keen on Ore's paso and was underwhelmed by Louise's waltz... I did think Louise was lucky to get max points in the cha cha challenge as I didn't think she was the best.

They are going to think that, Star, because Georgia has been more open about going out with someone else. Gio has been very discreet so far, and is not obviously involved with anyone else yet. I don't think liking pictures on instagram and twitter count...
Of course, Gio and Georgia are the only two who know the true circumstances of the split, but if you look at the apparent current status of the two, it looks like she is moving on first and was likely to be the one to call it a day. And yes Giovanni has been very discreet, or at least he thinks he is. He spends his time flirting with as many ladies as possible on Instagram by liking their photos etc. and I'm certain he will have been 'with' very many girls since the split. It seems to be the way he operates, as I said earlier he likes to be a 'player' flirting with them all on Instagram clearly in the hope he can 'get' with them at some stage. Georgia is clearly more 'mature' in her relationships in that she prefers more longer term ones. As for Georgia moving on, it'll take her a long time, I should imagine - of course being in a new relationship is not even indicative of forgetting all about an old relationship and 'moving on'. As for the idea that Georgia was the one to call a day on the relationship, there's more chance of the sun not rising tomorrow than that being the case. |

I don't think anyone - even the press - can think that she ended it. I presume it was just badly worded
EDIT - can I just point out that just a few days after they split up I predicted a picture of Georgia in Italy captioned that at least the Italian lessons didn't go to waste. Don't let me down Georgia! 😂 . I hoped that she would be in a better place emotionally by then, and I'm pleased to see that she is |

Hobbit to be honest after last year it's quite nice to watch with a sense of detachment! Danny was definitely best in the Cha Cha challenge, same as last year when GG should have been 1st in the quick step-athon!
Brian - I was going to reply to your comment, but I don't want to get the thread closed down, lol. We'll just have to leave it that you are firmly in Georgia's corner and I am more inclined to see both sides. |

I agree, Jammy! I watch and just don't care who goes out any more. I do get a bit peeved when people *coughKevinandLouisecough* seem to be favoured unfairly, but not enough to upset my equilibrium.

I'm not just in Georgia's corner for the sake of it, I'm in it on the basis of everything I've seen and heard. I would've thought you would have said you were more in Giovanni's corner.. With regards to the dances tonight ... I had extremely vivid GG flashbacks with Claudia and AJ tonight ... alas, we never got to see an AT from them but it was the whole way in which they seemed to be screwed over by the show. Firstly screwed up by the running order in that your doing a fairly energetic dance last thing before the group dance, and secondly deliver an absolutely amazing routine that was massively undermarked!! By far the dance of the night for me! Danny's Samba was good but I have a benchmark for Samba's now and that is set by GG. GG's routine was far more difficult to execute than Danny's because of the considerably faster speed of it. So, though his routine was impressive, it wasn't even on the same level as GGs for me! Btw, I'm not saying he didn't deserve 10s he most probably did (I have very little technical dance knowledge) just didn't appeal to me in the same way as GGs! And I reckon that if GG had been given the opportunity to perform their Samba in the final again that 'record' may well have been broken a season earlier! |

OK are quick to pick up on Georgia's new Instagram
http://www.ok.co.uk/celebrity-news/9...ovanni-pernice I wonder when GG Mark2 will make their first public appearance together? Not till well after the new year I would imagine. Actually got to see the show tonight and really enjoyed Danny's samba and Claudia's AT. Danny's hip action is amazing - almost as good as Gio's. As for Claudia, I think her and AJ have done incredibly well this year considering their youth and AJ's relative inexperience. I think it should be Ed and the Judge in danger tonight and much as I love Ed IMO it really is his time to go, I feel. Edit Wicks don't you mean there's caring and there's 'scaring"!!

I voted for Ed and Claudia again this week - i know people are getting bit irritated by Ed still being there but i'd love it if he got to the final. If Ed goes through again this week i think it will be Judge Rinder and either Ore or Claudia in the bottom two - hopefully Ore as i really like Claudia and AJ, their AT was fab. For those that are fed up of Ed i can understand as i'm sick of Honey G in the X factor - surely the woman has to go this week!! ![]() Quote:
It seems Georgia is with motor bike man and back in London

Do you want to know how quickly I think Gio moved on?! The night of the split when he deleted all the Instagram photos, or at least all those of Georgia in ... I mean he kept the ones on their holiday of him half naked in the Maldives which Georgia would've taken, clearly didn't want to deprive us of his topless self.

Just caught up with ITT - ruby Did you watch it ?
Zoe said Matthew Cutler and Erin are going to be on the show on Monday that's great news, I've been hoping for ages that he'd appear on ITT .. can't believe he's 43 now ! Quote:
Yes, stress can often drive people to it ... I have a bit of a weakness for chocolate too!
I haven't met many people who don't! ![]() Quote:
Over night Gio has retweeted two YouTubes of him and Erika Attisano dancing jive and rumba in competition - odd on the face of it !
Unless Erika is joining him in his tour - she has been working with his sister in Palermo recently ... just a thought ![]() Here are the videos : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWAnWbsohbE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxJSNOLIPb8 Quote:
I can see that Gio was probably fairly desperate to reach the final on Strictly or even win this year as a selling point for his tour. It must have been very frustrating for him when things didn't work out as he hoped. The tour sounds a bit down market but I hope it does well and they manage to shift plenty of tickets. I also hope that it comes to somewhere near me. BTW I went to see Flavia and Vincent's show "The last Tango" in London last week and really enjoyed it. To see those two doing a full blooded Argentine Tango together at the end was amazing! I saw The Last Tango earlier in the year and it was fantastic, would be great if a DVD could be made as this will be their last tour together ![]() enjoyed Strictly tonight and thought Danny's samba was fantastic, I loved the music and the choreography, my favourite dance of the night by far also liked Claudia's AT (but not the music) and Louise's waltz .... the best thing about Ed's tango was the fab song and I really hope he leaves tonight as the novelty has worn off, imo

Not really qualified to say too much anout tonight's Strictly as I went & missed both Danny & Ore!!
Didn't bother setting to record as ipthought I'd be back from work in plenty of time!! Unfortunately cows had other ideas!! ![]() Thought Louise's Waltz was gorgeous & best of the dances I did see!! Ed & Katya were Ed & Katya & I would happily see them stay another week!! ![]() Judge Reindeer's Rumba I thought was awful if I'm honest!! I suspect a first DO which unless it's against Ed will see him eliminated!! Claudia & AJ's Argentine Tango was well executed & I actually preferred it to the one Danny/Oti did earlier in the series, though Louise /Kevin's is still my favourite so far!! Mystifying that they didn't get a couple of tens at least this week if that bloody awful Jive was worth 4 nines last week!! ![]() Hope I'm wrong but I think Ed will go this week!! The Reindeer would definitely be my choice though!! |

I didn't say that was the case - I said that is why they assume that. In my experience, the one ending a relationship is generally more receptive to a new one than someone who was happy in the relationship they had, but who knows? Georgia said in her tweet it was mutual and Gio confirmed it.
I'm old and don't understand twitter/instagram so I don't get how Gio posting his modelling pics get him female company, but I'll take your word for it! ![]() they had obviously been seeing each other for months and are still together 3 years later! I have struggled to get that close to a guy ever since lol so I get what you are saying but my friend ended her 4 year relationship with her fiancé and he moved on almost straight away and she has only just been able to get close to a man! I guess what I am trying to say is that everyone deals with these things differently! I don't think things with George are that serious yet but he certainly seems to be making her feel happy again so that's a good thing in my eyes! Quote:

Spoiler
Loz I agree! Honey G should have gone weeks ago! I don't find her entertaining in the slightest!! I'm predicting a honey v Saara/Emily song off! Just because they've all been there! I'm a bit in love with Matt and 5 after midnight! E.T.A because Emily hasn't been in the sing off but people on twitter seem to think she is boring! I quite like her though! I was a big Dianna vickers fan in her year though so I've always preferred the more quirky contestants rather than the big belters! |
