I think the pic of him in the roll neck jumper is recent, just going by his hair and that he isn't wearing earrings.
Maybe taken the last time he went to Sicily after the Maldives?
You are right I didn't check that one !

Just the one she tweeted separately.

I'm not usually that bad at all. Sometimes, I've even been known to cheer people on to be killed lol. Very rarely do I get attached to a character. The last time I was this upset was over 7 years ago! I never miss my soaps but that's how rarely I get attached. Unfortunately for me, I have to be attached to the one they decide to kill off, in the most harrowing, heartbreaking scenes to ever grace the Corrie cobbles
Too right Star!! There was still a few sad scenes tonight as well especially poor David with the hoodie!!
These episodes have been so brilliantly written & acted though by everyone, including the characters not directly affected but shocked & upset over her demise!!

The forum pver in the soap sextion is positivey buzzing about it which means, with apologies to you guys I'm spending a lot of time posting over there at the moment while there's a thousand threads to reply to

Typical - of all the characters to kill off! I'm prone to getting very attached to characters myself, so probably best I don't watch soaps! Apparently when I was younger and went to a Tweenies live show, got so attached to them during the two hour show or whatever that I refused to leave until I could take them all home with me. Naturally, my request wasn't granted and so I cried my way back home! So I've been like that from an early age!
Aw bless, bet you were popular at the time!!

Well in many ways you and star are lucky you have a terrible happening in a soap to take your mind off the real world - the American Republicans appear to have selected Trump - the mind boggles !!!!

The Strictly Prom is on Thursday with the televised version on Friday - so something to look forward to.

I do hope it was a joke when they said Katie would be doing the jive - hope she will be waltzing or foxtrotting !

I just think it is rather funny that most of us - that is the ladies on this thread (so apologies to NDD, Brian, collaw. Christopher and Lewis) always fret about who Gio might get as a new celeb dancing partner - not because we think anything untoward will happen at all but because we rather dread the tabloid gossip - of the 'curse of' variety !
I think this is because we relate to Georgia and her feelings more closely because we are female too perhaps, and don't want her to be hurt by tabloid rubbish.

We have never considered the possibility that the gossip could be about Georgia ... and yet she is really very beautiful and desirable and most unattached young men would be more than interested in her.
If she is photographed out and around with cast members during BAT the Sun would have a field day.
So maybe we shouldn't only worry about Gio's new partner come September

For sure you was never of the sexual revolution ,hippies beatniks ,, what ever happened to education , as for tabloids im an ft man you want news you have to pay for it , who trusts or beilives tabloids , (gossip is gossip no matter where from) Some people think we are an item that is gossip I'd kick you out for being a liberal hehehe

I've just found Gio's dancewear designer and friend Lucrezia on Twitter, she tweeted this collage of Gio pics in June.

Good Morning and Thank you Lozzer. Some of these lovely photographs are a set and includes the one that Delly has posted showing someone very very much like Georgia reflected in the shop window. It has been cropped slightly but you can see her reflection in a couple of these. In which case it would be around the New Year and as Sandy says he has his earnings. He seems very fond of this lady.🌞Sunshine! Alicia😀

Collaw some people very much enjoy these shows and get very invested in them. Georgia owes her career to one.

It's a testament to great acting that they get upset.

That was outrageous - they also cut off people's water supply and built huge fences right on their borders in an attempt to get them to sell up and move.

His sons are photographed with big game they have shot including elephants and rhinoceros - just the pits.

Yes, Flora Rose completely agree and British soaps are very well received due to the standard of acting and they run story lines on difficult subject matters that viewers identify and have empathy for. We are lucky to have so many good ones. I wonder if the soaps will have a representative on Strictly this year? alicia👍🌞

Bizarre and I don't just mean the Elvis remark.

Unfortunately the Daily Mail and the Sun do not recognise that there has been a sexual revolution ... when they print gossip however inaccurate it remains on file and is quoted for years.
You may not believe anything you read in tabloids but the vast majority of the population do and most celebs do actually get very upset by them - hence the very well publicised court cases.

I think everyone is betting on Ryan Thomas who has left Coronation Street being in this years Strictly - but usually don't they also have someone from EastEnders too ?

Yes I agree but that is only where the item is liabous or deflamatory , gossip is just gossip
It is the same as me saying it has been reported Georgia thinks she should vet all Gio partners on SCD just more lines used up with an advert to pay for the dross ,

Interlectually she is way above the gossip of the tabloids

You're very welcome NDD - glad you liked them! That expression she's got on feeding Gio the spag bol is the exact same one she had whilst feeding him the black pudding!

I think you've answered your own question actually. Soaps, films, theatre productions, poetry, music, artworks, indeed any form of art has the power to move people emotionally, it is often part of the appeal of art and undoubtedly part of what makes it so popular, to react emotionally to a form of art is certainly not out of the ordinary. So, the reason why people are upset is precisely because it is a 'make believe' show, and fictional shows like any other work of fiction are capable of drawing out great emotion in people. If nobody reacted emotionally to art, the world would be a much poorer place, in my opinion.

Good question Collaw!!
I don't think anyone who hasn't followed a soap 5 times a week, 52 weeks a year could possibly understand!!
We all realise it's fiction & not reality & 9 times out of 10 you can just gloss over one episode & move onto the next but just sometimes a character comes along you feel a particular kind of affinity with & invest in more than the others!!
Kylie Platt on Corrie was ome such character for many of us & the manner she died on the show was played very realistically & did leave us feeling a bit like we'd lost a friend!!
The thing with me is if you are going to watch an ongoing drama thay many times a week, then if you don't let the characters become real for that half hour a night then what's the point in wasting all that time watching!!

Most welcome Penny.

Morning Delly, you're very welcome!

In terms of changing the name of links, the first thing you have to do is instead of just copying and pasting the link directly, you have to click on the sign with the globe on the toolbar above the posting box.

Once you click on that the box will open for you to paste the link into.

Once you've done that something line this will appear where you're writing your post......[url="https://www.google.co.uk/"]https://www.google.co.uk/[url]

The bit I have emboldened and underlined is the writing that you can delete and replace with your own writing/name (usually when you've pasted the link this bit will be highlighted for you).

Hope this helps.

Finally got around to catching up on the early pages of Part 3. It was well worth the effort since there were some lovely pictures which I hadn't seen before. Thanks to those who posted them. Also, someone mentioned something about Trollied and it set me wondering if Georgia might possibly do her part in a Liverpool accent. The producers might have seen that Periscope where she and Gio tried various accents and heard how good her Scouse is.

I think you are right Sandy. This seems to have happened to Michelle Keegan on the set of her series 'Our girl'. I saw a picture on the front of one of the gossip mags which linked her with Luke Pasqualino (who has a part in the series) on the strength of a couple of photos which seem to suggest something is going on. I haven't read the mag itself to see if there is any real evidence for their insinuations. Anyway, Georgia would do well to be careful if she socializes with her fellow cast members during BatT. Even perfectly innocent photos can be taken the wrong way and be backed up with spurious quotes from supposed 'secret sources'.

Thanks so much for these Brian. All my fave pics including, of course, that lovely, snuggly selfie that started it all off. This, according to a headline, that nearly made me barf, in one of the tabs was "the picture that will break Sean Ward's heart"!

I can say with some confidence to Georgia that my part of the north has finally bought into the whole heatwave business - it's boiling!

Lol I know what she means!! We don't get much of a heatwave in Grimsby but it's so hot here today!! I think everyone should be given a day off work on a day like this I have a day off tomorrow so it's likely to rain or be a lot colder
