Hello everyone *waves* I remember the thread meltdown over the AT. I think it was me who mentioned the music, and someone else mentioned Vincent helping with the AT training, and then we noticed that Vincent was in the film clip that I posted with the required music. Turned out that he'd been an extra (albeit a talented dancing one) in the movie.

It's here if anyone wants to look for him.

I've not kept up with Strictly this year really but I think Louise and Kevin used this music, and they got great reviews from the judges but from what I saw it wasn't half as good as Georgia and Giovanni would have done with it., it was made for them IMO.

I was so looking forward to this dance, it was a small blip on a fantastic year last year. I sorta knew with the Jay fever that they wouldn't win but they made the final which I was happy with. Ahhh well

Thing is, it wouldn't even have been so annoying if they'd just never put the dance up, we'd just have assumed that they hadn't go to do the Argentine Tango, but the fact that they actually put the dance and the music up made it 10X worse!

Yes I remember that clip from the movie that you posted a few weeks before the semis - and thank you for confirming what we'd been thinking (but not fully remembering) on here which was that Kevin and Louise were given the same Argentine Tango music this series!

Like you, I'm convinced that they would have absolutely nailed the dance, but alas it wasn't to be ... and it was a small blip in a fantastic year which had the winner nailed on from the start, unfortunately, but at least they got right to the end of the competition and finished with a score of 40 (more than the winner did ).

I think that is just a Sicilian treat

I am working tonight with my Italian colleague who talks really fast so I hope I have this right. I asked him if he knew what might be good to eat in Trieste?

He said, Pizzas Pasta and Gelato 🍧 of course but also Horseshoe shaped pastries called Presnitz which have walnuts orange peel and raisins inside them. A soup called Jota which is beans sauerkraut pancetta potato and cumin. Also apparently The coffee company Illy roast their beans in this area. There is probably Nutella too!!
