I agree with every single word you have said, Star. I find it totally unfathomable that people would love him because of the way he looks, considering the way in which he has treated Georgia. Of course they would not still think the same about him had they been treated as Georgia has been.

I think it’s perhaps something to think about for those women on Instagram whom he relentlessly pursues. Already, we’ve seen him deleting comments that these Instagram ladies have made to him – WHY?? – so he can maintain an image of being single to fulfill what is clearly his desire which is to be with as many women as possible. Is deleting their comments a nice, respectful way to be treating them?! In my opinion, most certainly not! But it’s indicative I think of his overall attitude, and exemplified in the way in which he treated Georgia, it is motivated by his interests without thought of others – deleting comments isn’t nice for these women who he’s attempting to flirt with, but it suits his purposes. I hope, for their sake, these ladies take heed of things like this happening.

And I also agree with you wholeheartedly about Georgia being so grounded. I’m reminded of what she said in an interview at a school prize giving (video posted on YouTube) when she was asked if she liked being famous. She was initially a bit taken aback I remember and said that she hadn’t ever been asked the question before, but that she didn’t see herself as famous because she felt that was putting her on another level, and she would never see herself, or want other to see her like that. For me, that typifies her attitude; and of course it’s perhaps something that a lot of celebrities would say (though I’m quite sure a lot genuinely do see themselves as ‘above’ other people) but what Georgia says is exemplified by her actions. It’s why she refuses to ever take praise, praised for her Viennese Waltz and she diverts it to Joanne Clifton, praised for her looks and she diverts the praise onto a ‘great makeup team’. It was why when she was on Strictly, she always talked of how lucky and how it always felt like it was a ‘privilege’ to her –even when asked before the final what it was like to be there, she said that she couldn’t believe she was in the show full stop! It’s why, as you pointed out, Star, she immediately dashed out of a cast party to visit fans waiting to see her, and actually apologised for the fact she hadn’t been out earlier. It’s why when Star sent her that tweet on behalf of the thread to her about our best wishes for BAT and the gift we were sending, she replied thanking everyone and saying how much it all meant to her, and not only that but she then sought to follow Star and talk to her personally, and said thank you to everyone on the thread again when she received the gifts the following day, and then the day after she sends a picture with all the presents on, thanking everyone again! And, think about it, all this coming at the time of her FIRST EVER performance in theatre, what an immense amount of pressure must have been on her, yet she still found the time to repeatedly express her gratitude for things people had sent to her – just amazing!! And what response from Giovanni from the gift he received from the thread – a reply to a comment on Instagram, which reminded him about what had been sent to him– spot the difference! But perhaps my favourite personal moment from this year, was the wonderful message she sent to both Star and Loz – such a beautiful message!

Before everybody starts attacking Gio again can I just point out Gio did NOT trample on anyone's heart? He changed his mind about how he felt about Georgia. People can't control how they feel. Remind me is this the Georgia who dumped her fiancée to be with Sean? So let me get this right. It is ok for Georgia to change her mind about someone but it is not ok for Gio to change his mind. Georgia has moved on already. As far as we know Gio hasn't unless of course he has learned to keep his private life private. I hope this is the case.

I love that you only believe that everything negative written in the tabloids about Gio is true but anything uncomfortable for you about Georgia is untrue. The truth is we can only go with what is written about the breakups. Only Georgia and her ex fiancée know the real truth. Only Georgia and Gio know the real truth. Just because Georgia was publicly moping round after she split with Gio only means she was sad they split. if she didn't actually say he dumped her then we cannot be sure he did. The official line was they agreed to go their separate ways.

I don't base anything, I say, from things the tabloids have printed but from what I have been told by credible sources. (Sometimes these back up what the tabloids print, yes. But I don't talk about things the tabloids say, as fact, unless I've heard same/similar from a credible source.)
