C'mon collaw! He's Italian, and I'm sure he loves his family very much, besides which he hasn't seen them for months! It says a lot for his feelings for Georgia that he's prepared to stick around at home instead of jetting off without her! However, maybe they will still manage to squeeze in a few days in Sicily before the Strictly madness starts, but I'm not holding my breath!

At this rate by the time she gets out to Sicily Georgia's italian will be fluent !

I feel bad because I'm going back in October!! I can't go twice in one year and not Georgia that's all kinds of wrong! I'm seeing BAT (first night in Brighton) then flying out the next day.

Haha, I must be when it comes to milza!! Seriously though the Sicilian food is amazing, especially the pasta, seafood and gelato

Wish I could take GG on the flight but yes they will both be otherwise engaged! I'll be away for Hallowe'en Strictly but hopefully Gio will still be in afterwards...and Georgia will get to support him in the audience

Things that we could fill days debating:
-Ring gate
-Engagements
-What was said at the end of the show dance (this is the one I would like to solve the most but know we never will )
-When did they actually get together
-Who will be Gio's partner this year
-When will they next make it to Sicily
-When will they next go on holiday
-Will they do a tour
-WIll they ever do an AT
-Will GG do SCD Christmas special

I'm sure that I've missed some 😂

I love how we never tire of these subjects, much to Callows disgust 😄

Having stayed off social media all day allowing us to hope they had gone on holiday Gio is now liking Prom related tweets like mad !

Plus the Chilli Festival which is in early August keeps popping up.

If previous outings are anything to go by it is very likely Georgia will be there too.

Isn't that a bit of a typical man thing to do, forgetting significant dates?! Or perhaps that just comes from having watched my own father get into trouble for forgetting on multiple occasions!

Do you remember all the time we debated whether Georgia would go on the cruise and then Grimsby ?
We thought there was no chance but we were wrong.
Now she turns up at the Proms !

Poor Kevin, having to suppress his true goth self for the show! He should go for it!

Well I didn't want to be sexist but... My husband managed to forget our last wedding anniversary and I wouldn't mind but it was only our second!! He did make up for it the next day. And then after we married he asked if he still needed to 'do' Valentines Day (answer: yes you do). I expect Gio is a good deal more romantic though!

I couldn't remember some of those women who appeared in the early episodes.
There was one male dancer who I have no recollection of either.

I dont suppose Gio is going to be the fave as he has only been in it for a year but I had to give hm the only 10 as I want him to do well.

I gave Matthew, Vincent and Flavia 9s.

Well you have got one of those dreadfully wrong according to Gio they do an AT of sorts quite often I would think !

Your experience sounds similar to things I've seen! You see so many sitcom episodes based around men forgetting anniversaries so I think it's probably quite a common occurrence!

When my dad forgot an anniversary card, he used a spare Wallace and Gromit thank you card instead - it did not go down well!

Haha I bet it didn't!! I think Georgia said her dad always forgets too and has go out for an emergency card and chocs, or something like that
