I think he's been at home on his own since the weekend having a good rest after all the Proms rehearsals, getting up late, watching box sets, going to the gym and just generally chillin' and retweeting things.
This evening he's rushing round the house like a blue bottomed thingie clearing up before Georgia comes back from Bristol, getting rid of old pizza delivery boxes, Peroni bottles, burnt saucepans, emptying ash trays, stuffing DVDs back into cases, picking up wet towels off the bathroom floor, trying to remember what little jobs he'd promised to do before she came back ... that sort of stuff
OR he might be enjoying his last few hours of having the house in the immaculate, minimalist apple pie order he loves before Georgia comes back with a suitcase of dirty washing, an empty Krispy Kremes (with extra sprinkles) family size box, 6 bottles of Harveys Bristol Cream, a bunch of used scripts, and a stinking headache/cold after another week of air conditioning (except for the taxi ride obvs)
OR he might be in Sicily
Lol!! You paint the most vivid pictures Mrs G!!

I bet all those things wouldn't be first on the agenda when she gets back though!!

As I say I've had no trouble at all on the soap forum!! Anyone any ideas or advice please?

Loving these "What's Gio been up to theories".

He might been helping Jo with her plants bless her. I think she needs a little dog because wasn't she growing a dinosaur egg last week? She needs a hot single partner this year. My goodness she has earnt one;
-she had to teach Scott flipping Mills!
-she got side lined last year
-she brought Gio to Strictly

X
The Clifton clan have all gone up to Carfest, somewhere oop north. I believe K&K might be performing there but I think Jo's just gone along for the ride. Jo definitely needs to find herself a new man - she can't go trailing round after her brother all the time but I hope she has better luck next time.

My goodness me I have just read a devastating review of BAT - from 'The Stage' which is normally very kind !
They point out that the Press night was held beck for a long time - which I thought odd.
'The Stage' put the blame fairly and squarely on Pixie Lott.

https://www.thestage.co.uk/reviews/2...ampaign=buffer

I hope our darling Georgia reads this and the play's director rehearses with her to produce a much better result - I have a feeling Georgia was less than impressed with Pixie's performance or maybe the play when GG and Jo went to see it - they didn't go back stage and Georgia didn't tweet congratulations which is not her normal style.
After a review like this the Producers will surely look to improve the play - I very much hope so !

Well I have watched Mrs Clinton accept the Presidential Nomination and it was noisy enough to mostly block out the planes ... very loud now though !

Ouch at that review,
It seems that there are serious issues with the Production and having an inexperienced lead (I doubt Pixie Lott even auditioned or had to do so has not helped).
When the Cat gets the best reviews that must hurt.
Georgia is more experienced actress although not on Stage, hopefully she raise above the production and it is regional so the critics may be kinder. I must say she looks the part more so then Pixie Lott going from the poster.

Hi Collaw!!

I switched off altogether & left it off overnight & seems to have allowed me this two reply quote this morning!!

Will still PM you as the cookie clearing idea is probably something it needs after all the use it's had!!

I agree with Christopher about Pixie just not looking the part at all & personally I'm not keen on her singing voice, but this is really damning isn't it!!
The part looks made for Georgia but it is putting added pressure on her if she reads stuff like that!! Wonder what the other girl will be like?
Such a wonderful opportunity for Georgia to shine now & if she could be the one to 'rescue' the production it would do her future career no harm at all!!

Yes I got the feeling that Georgia wasn't very impressed when she went to see the play in Southampton I would have thought that by now the producers would have sorted it out a bit. One can only hope that Georgia, as Christopher says, can rise above the production - she's certainly had enough time to prepare! I think the part should suit her very well and we know she's good at accents. The only potential weak link is the singing but again she's had time to have plenty of lessons to try and strengthen her voice. I was just wondering if she's had some advice from her castmates in Trollied. I'll bet some of them have done stage work and I'm sure they will give her some good tips. Another thing I wondered is whether she will have to go blonde as Emily Atack did. I hope not since I don't think it will suit her.

Well I have watched Mrs Clinton accept the Presidential Nomination and it was noisy enough to mostly block out the planes ... very loud now though !

BIB Yay! Exciting times indeed Sandy - women in power, or potentially in power all over the place!

Incidentally, I came across this which isn't a pic of Donald Trump in drag but his Mum! Isn't that the most awesome helmet hair you've ever seen?

The Gruaniad was kinder but still not keen.

NDD steady yourself, there appears to be a bath scene judging by the photo in the Guardian. One slip.of a discreetly placed elbow and...🔥🔥🔥🔥

Have to say that Matt Barber, who I thought looked quite good in Downton, leaves me a bit cold, especially in the nudie bath pic!

Thank you Sandy for the review. The images for the play look so appealing and the costumes are lovely. I wonder how Emily Atack provinces review went or if there was one? Emily is an actress.
However, Georgia, in 1 minute 30 seconds, showed us joy (Charleston), dynamic performances(Paso), inclusiveness (Beauty and the Best), an ability to connect in the romance of the waltz (Georgia on my mind). We believed her. So hopefully she will be fine! 😀👍Alicia

Loved that - well found Jen! I can imagine quite a lot of those things applying to GG!

Jensterio. Think you and I'll need to kidnap Gio, strip him of his suit and any other clothing and then give the suit to Brian. Three happy people out of four can't be bad ................ Can it 😂😂😂😂
An excellent plan, in my opinion!

Loving these "What's Gio been up to theories".

Indeed! We have an awful lot to thank Jo for.

I was having a look at a few of the reviews when they were coming out last night and as would probably be expected for any arts production they are a bit mixed. I get on a bit of a soapbox about critics reviews anyway, due to their tendency to present what is entirely their own opinion as fact, but to be quite so damning about a production and actor as that review is I find a little highhanded. Pixie is in a similar position to Georgia in that she has had no experience in theatre, indeed in Pixie's case I believe she has had little experience in acting at all - so for both of them this is undoubtedly an extremely daunting experience, and the fact that they are both willing to play such a prominent role in their first role in theatre, I think, is commendable and brave in itself. Whilst I appreciate it is the job of the critic to be honest in their opinions, I just find the damning nature of this critic's personal opinion a little unnecessary - and for someone who has had little experience in theatre it could be quite a knock to your confidence, and perhaps a bit of encouragement, a little bit of praise for something, or even recognition for the fact it is your first time in theatre wouldn't go amiss. This is basically me forewarning you all that I'm going to get thoroughly peed off if a critic decides to throw what I believe to be excessive criticism at Georgia when she gets the role!

Georgia went out to what she calls "our network dinner" last night and has a picture posted of herself in a lovely red dress. Doesn't say where the dinner was - the photo looks like it was taken in a hotel room so maybe it was in Bristol.

Pleased to hear your son enjoyed his day.
Ah, Mick Jagger!! I was wondering who that musician was!

Is that a new phrase on here, collaw-itis!
afternoon ..... now he's got to do Jury Service next week

there's only one "Mick" in my world

yes, and I think I've got it

Sadly, not fast enough Brian. He's beaten you to it!
https://wrestlegasm.files.wordpress..../goat-suit.jpg
and he's been to the dentist and had his teeth fixed.https://thesmilefiles.files.wordpres...ing-goat13.jpg
and then had a cheeky go at wearing Georgia's BAT hat and her new lipstick
https://i.ytimg.com/vi/OcBItej0pr0/hqdefault.jpg
you're definitely "Chief Supplier of Goat Pictures", loving the first one

Totally agree with you Sandy. It's so natural now for young couples like them to share their feelings openly and on social media. In fact I hope they continue to express their feelings with us from time to time as it'll help to keep the gossips and tabloids at bay.
I suppose it is natural now but maybe they could write to each other sometimes then, when they're old and grey, they can look back at the letters with fond memories ... can't do that with a text or email !

Hehe!
You really seem to have a good "eye" for make up!
Maybe you could apply to be strictly's make up artist and join Ruby and Afton when they are on the show applying Gio's fake tan!!!
You can then ask Gio for his shiny suit face to face!!
can't wait to start my new job .... not long now

went to my dance class last night and now we've finished for the summer

my teacher said he'd seen "my friend" at a meeting earlier in the week ..... meaning Matthew ... and told him I'd bought one of his calendars, which was a long time ago ..... am now desperate for Gio to do a calendar and have everything crossed that he will

btw I read an article saying that Instagram gave Taylor Swift, and others, the ability to block hundreds of internet trolls and wondered if this would be something Georgia could do ..... what does anyone think ?
