That's my guess. It seems as if some of the new pros might have started already and it's only a few weeks until the results show is filmed and they have to fit in 2 weeks rehearsals beforehand. So even if they're not starting this week, it has to be next week!

Yes, I think they start on Monday. I'm sure I saw Janette somewhere saying that they do a dance a day and there's 21 dances. Can't remember where though.

Re the pic; I think that Georgia has higher cheekbones. My friend has met Samuel Anderson at a Dr Who convention, apparently he's lovely.

Back on the home front my daughter is back from Italy and has booked another long weekend holiday there immediately for August - the dinner date went very well it seems.
The Italian is coming to London for a holiday in September.

The rest of family PB are out catching Pokemon (sigh) so I am watching the proms in full. Putting Gio to one side, I have to say that Jo Clifton is a fabulous performer, she really is good and deserves a good run this year. On the other hand, I am less keen on Katie Derham, she's getting on my nerves a bit.

If we get a Sunday picture then I hope the back drop is GG arriving in Sicilly

Unfortunately not likely now - Brendan Cole confirmed that pro rehearsals start next Monday 1 August and I'm pretty sure that Nina said at the talk before the proms that they go on for the whole of August. Giovanni may have been there this week though, who knows

I know what you mean about Katie - there is something about the humour at concerts and opera that is very weak and silly !
People laugh at very pathetic things and Katie is the Prom Queen.
I didn't mind her at all the first three or four times I watched it but she is now getting on my nerves.

Well looking on the bright side at least they will both be in London during August as far as we know.

I do like Katie but she can get a bit annoying. I thought she was rather nervous that evening - she is used presenting at the Proms but not in the main arena in front of 6,000 people. I also think her two numbers with Aljaz didn't really add anything to the evening and I would have preferred to see more pro dancing. She did wear lovely dresses though.

I agree with what you say about Jo - I knew she was pretty good before I went to the Prom but I was very impressed, seeing her live with what an incredible dancer she is and how expressive and elegant. It was also lovely to see what a great partnership she has with Gio and how well they fit together. Kevin also did very well of course, and I was very pleased for him that he got such a good reception - if only he could sort out his hair!!!

Talking of the Cliftons they seem to be having a great time at Carfest North. I thought that Joanne had gone along for the ride but she seems to be joining in with Kevin and Karen. She tweeted a short video of them doing some dancing with a load of kids which looked like fun. I really hope Joanne gets a contender this year. Wouldn't it be great if Kevin, Joanne, and Gio all got to the final?! If Jo's partner is hot and single and she can fall in love with him, well so much the better!!

It seems unlikely that GG will get to Sicily before Strictly starts. Jason Gilkison said at the pre prom talk that the pro rehearsals go on for the whole of August. It's a bit sad that GG have only had a weeks holiday this year. I really hope that they will be able to take some serious R&R in the New Year either before or after the tour, if Gio decides to do it.

I suppose that it's unfortunate but just the way it goes, but without turning down work what can they do? If only Georgia finished on Trollied a week before!
