I've got myself my very first IPhone that works. And now I want to download music onto a playlist but I'm finding it hard to find a reputable music app. Ideally free or cheap to use. Any help?

If you're looking for legal music streaming and downloads, why not try the Spotify Premium 30 day trial? You can alwayd cancel at the end of the trial without paying anything.
Failing that, rip your music from CD in iTunes and sync with your iPhone.

The stock music app for the iPhone is perfectly adequate for all your music playing needs.

Spotify is certainly a good choice for streaming, but there's also TuneIn Radio as well for radio stations.

I agree I have Spotify premium and TuneIn radio in my IPhone 5s. The Spotify Premium offline mode is great. Have been using Spotify Premium since April and it has 95%/96% of the music and artists that I want.
I also have Spotify on my IPad Miini 4.
Have had the IPad Mini 4 since the end of last year and have had the IPhone 5s since the end of January.

Thanks. I'll try the Spotify 30 day free trial and if I like it I'll stick with it.

Another vote for TuneIn radio - huge range of Internet stations. And if you don't already have one, consider buying a Bluetooth speaker.

Don't forget you can get a 3 month trial of Apple Music if you haven't already used it.
