Every year they get more outside info than the year before. This year they get viewers feedback, tweets etc as well as having family and friends enter bringing messages as well as telling them what's been shown

This is not BB as it should be. I know the game has changed over the years but I'm thinking next year {If it's on next year} The'll be allowed to have a half hour daily access with their mobile phones and or tablets. Punishment for nomination talk will be them taken away until further notice

I have just learned that it is contracted for another two years. I think BB producers are from a lunatic asylum and are trying to get rid of the viewers

I wouldn't be surprised. This year has been absolutely horrendous.

It's not BB any longer.

Just show about people sharing a house.

Well that describes what BB actually is, people sharing a house. Now if you had said sharing an asylum that would be closer to reality.

If they are not 'trying' they are 'succeeding'....

And very strange people at that, even before they start acting.

Do they really believe we want to see, and hear, overt sexual activity between women and men, or men and men, and continual arguing.

It used to be a feel good programme, with plenty of humour but no longer.

Even the follow on, BOTS, is now completely unwatchable, mainly due to its presenter who must be one of the very worst on television.

I've always said BB is better when you have a mix the fun bits, bizarre bits and the fall outs but it seems all they've wanted during the channel 5 era is the fights.

Rylan is fine when he's not over egging his auto cue and getting the audience to clap and cheer after almost every sentence he reads. The show has always been biased towards whichever HM they want to promote or destroy but the panel needs more objective people than the tow-the-line likes of Katona, Louisa Zissman and some of the towie crew. Get more people on like Pete Burns, Liam from BB8 or Ben Dover

Civilian - Yes

Celebrity - No

Celebrity version has got lots of steam left in it, unlike the civilian series which is hanging on for dear life and will probably be put out of its misery after this series

As mentioned earlier, there's a couple years left to run on the non celeb version contract but they'll probably just end up merging both editions and having a load of HM V Celebs tasks

This ^^^ CBB should stay. The civilian one needs burying alive and then left to rot.

I would rather they ditch celeb BB and put some effort into making normal BB good again.

They won't ditch January CBB, as that brings in the better figures

If anything Summer CBB should go, as it's overkill after such a draining civilian series

Will say though I am very interested to see how much promotion they will give Summer CBB

Hmm, I half agree. I don't think they should ditch CBB, but they should put some effort into making the normal BB good again. If not, it needs to go.

Not really, but do need to put in a lot more effort with getting the right civilian hms - the talent in them just isn't there and c5 should admit that they're wrong with picking them alongside endemol. They probably think the wannabe style of hm brings the money in so they pick them over your everyday types, Richard Desmond, Jeff Ford, nick samwell-smith and gavin Henderson are to blame. Trouble is they were the ones who passed on the information to successors of how to manage the show and it's just deteriorated ever since then.

Would love it if Ben frow could do the honourable thing and quit as the show will get worse under him. But I also think he wants other programmes on c5 instead. The way he's treated us and the presenters is basically like rubbish really. Personally I think he sugar coats everything to be patronising to viewers and that's why we switch off.

To be fair cbb is now our saving grace as it's the only show c5 can manage and produce properly. Will be very interesting who they pick for this summer as we tend to connect more with celebs than civilian people as if it were. Hopefully they'll find some more time for live feed even if it's half an hour after BBBOTS each night.

Disagree on Pete burns as he treated Aaron the winner of bb12 like muck off the floor. Agree on the others though like luisa Zissman, kerry Katona and some of the towie crew as a) act like they don't even watch the show properly, b) only like those who cause the most drama and c) don't have time for the decent hms. It's really sad and those who do nothing wrong whatsoever will be booed and the guilty party cheered at evictions.

I think the whole organisation of evictions is the management and producers is dreadful, they don't give a shit over what we think, all they care over is voting and viewing figures. We've had tons of hms like sheivonne, faye and tashie who really did nothing wrong whatsoever and the crowd were told by the management and producers to boo them, yet conor, Jay and ashleigh from bb13 got cheered and they're vile really.

What c5 need is a flame box and that'll stop all the behaviour at live evictions and that hopefully should encourage more balanced views of the show as some of the goings on take the piss, they really do.

They are one and the same. There hasn't been a civilian one in I don't know how many years. The civilian one is full of Z listers and the Celeb one is now the same because they ran it so far in to the ground that real Celebs were not going to be humiliated on National TV! Both are full of Reality TV idiots!!

More since the chan 5 era have their been HMs in the non celeb one that have done other things in the world of media.

People have always scoffed at those that are classed as celebs from day one. Mark Owen won, I think it was the second CBB and at the time his solo records couldn't even make the bargain bin at Woolworths.............. but I don't think we'd see Robbie or Gary in there any time soon

Get rid of these Z listers, this year they are terrible. Go back to basics , the old style BB.

Three series per year is BB over kill and nothing more. It seems C5 couldn't care less about the original format that made it popular! Why have 2x celeb series per year? It is like let's hurry up and finish the civilian or bastardized BB so we can have another celeb no name series!

Why not just have a decent all stars series? They do it on US BB but not in the UK. Everyone has their favorites and would be better they return instead of no name celebrities trying to rebuild their careers!

Most of my best memories of BB are the humorous moments rather than the arguments.

Big Brother reminds me of a video game franchise that has a new game released every year (bear with me).

A video game will get a new release every year and each release will feature 'improvements' - at some point these improvements stop making it a better game, but a different game that no one wants to play.

Eventually the developers realise (after years of falling sales) that they need to try and get back to what people actually liked about the first few games and they decide to do a reboot.

Unfortunately these reboots aren't usually successful because the developers (by now a different lot of people from when the series began) don't actually understand what people liked about the early games and just f*** it up in a different direction.
