It is now so far removed from the original premise that I don't why one of the other channels couldn't just adopt the original format and just call it by another name.

I've thought that. A real back to basics with 24/7 paid live feed online and call it '1984'

I agree, it used to be funny in the early days when the housemates who smoked could take a set amount of cigarettes into the house and when they were done they were done. Can you imagine how the brats in there now would behave if it was like that now!
There were some tantrums in the early days but they are worse now.

It's contracted until 2018 FYI.

They should drop the name Big Brother, as the show has nothing to do with the original concept, and call it Previously.

Nadia's tantrums were not funny during BB5.

These contracts will have performance related clauses.
There's no way Viacom would keep a show afloat for 2 yrs if it wasn't meeting targets.
So yes whilst it has the potential to run until 2018 .. it doesn't necessarily mean it will.

This is not BB as it should be. I know the game has changed over the years but I'm thinking next year {If it's on next year} The'll be allowed to have a half hour daily access with their mobile phones and or tablets. Punishment for nomination talk will be them taken away until further notice”

They did last year, we objected they did it again.

It's not BB anymore.
Imagine if Love Island, Ex On The Beach and IACGMOOH had a drunken threesome.....this would be the nullius filius that everyone was ashamed of.

A question for everyone: what was the last Big Brother series you enjoyed before you felt it changed too much to be really considered classic Big Brother?
