So ITV have about two Welsh pundits and a Welsh commentator

And BBC are getting on the act by having a Welsh presenter and two Welsh pundits

Either they are replacing all the English presenters and pundits with Welsh people or

Wales were playing tonight in their very first semi final at a major tournament

You don't have to post every inane thought you ever have.

Or put so many spaces in them when you do.

Of course there was going to be a Welsh "bias" to the coverage.

Wouldn't expect anything less.

Ramsey was what made Wales so good. Bale did try tonight, but without Ramsey it was a different team

I think you need to check a dictionary to see the meaning of woeful, it 's defined like this "Wales qualifying record for major tournaments."
Germany, Italy, Brazil and Spain have all failed to win the World Cup on home soil.
I prefer our 100% record of getting to the quarters or a semi final at tournaments to be honest
There might be 58 years between appearances but not bad for a nation of three million with a pub league!!

Gutted for Wales but they can be very proud. Nobody gave them a hope of even qualifying - they went on to reach the semi-finals, becoming the first British team to do so for twenty years.

It did look like one step too far unfortunately. We've seen Wales struggle before to break down well-organised sides - they were fortunate to do so against Northern Ireland, so an equally well-organised Portugese side but with far more technical and attacking threat than NI proved their undoing.

Missing Ramsey was a huge blow as he was definitely the "driving" force behind the midfield and ensured the team pushed meaningfully forward. Bale poor by his own lofty standards.

They have nothing to be ashamed of though. In Welsh footballing history every one of them will go down as immortals.

A bit like Iceland against France it was a game too far for Wales, Ramsey was a big miss though and Portugal played well too, they weren't given the credit they deserved by the ITV commentators.
