Like a 'nice guy' on a dating site, aurichie only liked Wales until they didn't like him back, at which point they instantly became the ugliest girl in the world and he was only pitying them.

Sorry butt, but you were dismissing us before our game against England calling the Welsh team and fans 'cocky' because we'd won our first game against Slovakia! Long before the Iceland game.
Well I was right because England beat Wales. 2-1 flattered Wales it should have probably been nearer 4-1 or 5-1 with the amount of chances we created in that second half.

I call it bad sportsmanship, come on, they are grown up professional footballers. I can understand the fans doing it but the players!,

Anyway I still want Wales to win.
I bet you'll still raise a smile when Bale is seen crying at the final whistle though.

So when exactly were you "cheering" Wales?

How is it bad sportsmanship to want your rivals to lose?!? Do you think if Spurs were relegated, Arsenal players wouldn't cheer and laugh (and the other way around)? The same goes for literally all football rivalries - club or country.

Argentina players cheered, danced and sang when Brazil were humiliated by Germany.

German players cheered when Holland failed to qualify for Euros etc etc.

It happens. Nothing wrong with it. I actually hate footballers from rival teams snuggling up to each other before a game. This is war, not a social club!

Do you believe that the English players would have cheered if Wales had failed to qualify because I don't.

I have a little Welsh in my blood so if England can't win then I'd be happy with Wales winning although Bale crying might just bring a little smile to my face I am glad that Aaron Ramsey isn't playing though.

They wouldn't because it's a different dynamic, England are the dominant force of British football so won't look at the neighbouring countries the same. I don't see a video of them celebrating a result they're watching on TV as bad sportsmanship.

I was cheering Wales on until they start all the anti-English stuff. So were most of my mates. Now many of us want them to lose so we can revel in their misery just like the Welsh revelled in ours.
While we revel in the fact that we performed so much better than England... Its really a no win for you isn't it!

Cheering on Wales all the way tonight. They play with heart and guts, and actually play some good stuff as well.

If it goes to ET or penalties I think Portugal could edge it. A little perplexed to see pundits and the like thinking if it goes that far Wales are likely to win it - they've never been in a situation like that before, while Portugal have twice in this tournament alone. Player fitness will come into play then as well. If it goes to penalties then Portugal are by far and away the favourites.

However, I don't think it will go that far - I think Wales will win it 1-0 in normal time.

I'm already a nervous wreck praying so, so hard for Portugal
Also pepe trained by himself today , he is slightly injured so he might not even play tomorrow. When I say that this team has the worst luck , smh. He is extremely critical and pivotal for this Portuguese team.

🙏🙏🙏
As I understand things , they are both missing a very influential midfielder and a rock steady CB so that makes things equal , I guess .

I'm hoping and wishing that Bale blows Ronaldo off the park and Wales win a famous victory .

Is it possible Pepe may have just trained by himself to avoid murdering a teammate with a tackle?

How many hours to go?

Wasn't born in '58 so this whole tournament has been uncharted territory for me and of course many thousands of others, never mind being possibly 90 minutes away from a final. Just going to try and enjoy the experience, but I am genuinely a bit knotted up already! I just hope we give it a good go. I am proud of the lads whatever happens and will hopefully be a bit calmer once the actual game starts; and then, what will be will be...If the Belgium game turns out to be the peak, it was one *heck* of a peak.

My mantra at the moment is "It's only a game." Of course that's true, but the slight drawback is I keep getting the theme tune to 'Big Break' in me head!
As for 1958, people don't realise that TV coverage of the World Cup was extremely limited back then and only Wales game with Sweden was shown live in the UK.

Effectively then, this year is Wales arrival in the big time.

Good luck to Wales tonight, I hope you get to the final (and win it if it's not against Germany), But whatever the result, you've made England's lot of serial underaceivers look stupid.

Logic says Wales should win this.

- Wales topped their group.
- Portugal came 3rd in theirs.
- Belgium won 4-0 against the team that topped Portugal's group
- Wales beat Belgium 3-1.

So in summary Wales beat the team who whopped the team who topped Portugal's group 4-0. Portugal also finished below Iceland.

Result = Easy Wales win

I wouldn't quite agree with your reasoning but I also think there's not much between the two sides and Portugal are definitely the best side for Wales to be facing.

Roy should donate some of his beard hairs to Ryan's eye brow fund.
