Why are both teams playing in their change kit?

Oh, I know - Portugal's red isn't a light colour to oppose Wales's dark shirts.
I read that for Portugal, this is classed as a home game (dunno why) so I'm surprised to not see them wearing red.

What awful colours for the kits. Why couldn't one of them wear red?

Never seen a kick-off like that in all the years I've watched Footy, thought the Ball had to go forward first, strange, and just one bloke in the centre circle, have the rules changed?

Yeah it changed this tournament. It's happened at a lot of games so far. Surprised this is the first time you've seen it.

Green kits. Green pitch. Welcome to UEFA.

Hmm, silly free kick to give away.

you dont have to kick the ball forwards, its one of the half dozen new rules for this tournament.

the biggest change is yellow card for a penalty instead of red and penalty

Mild should for a pen there, Collins definitely had his arm round the back of Ronaldo's neck.

I thought you always played it back, given none of your players would be in the opponents half at the start?

Sulky has form. Screams like a little girl if a player gets near him, so unless the ref saw the whole incident I hope sulky boy's previous counted against him.

No the first kick always had to be into the opposition's half, hence why the second man was needed. Now it's not necessary.

no, its amazing you have watched all these games and not knowing the rules

the player kicks off and HAS to play it forward. The kicker cannot touch the ball again until it has been kicked by another player.

So the KO routine was two players on the ball, one nudges it forward and the second plays it backwards to a team mate.

This has all changed now though
