Going to be like 1984 and 1998.

French win on home soil?
Not if Ronaldo has got anything to do with it

I want France to win, but if there is another goal I'd like Germany to get it...
Me too for selfish betting reasons

Ronaldo does little against better opposition though these days

Did Keown just attempt a war joke?
I think he said something like Germany can't defeat the French resistance.

It doesn't help that Klose has departed, he always seemed to turn up in the international tournaments.
Apparently Klose had a poor Euros record as well like Muller. Strange....

Germany are different class but as everyone knows football can be a cruel game sometimes .
The Germans have battled past more talented opposition often enough. Tonight the boot is on the other foot.

Gulf in quality between the two semi finals is something to behold and you have to look at the awful structure of the tournament. When a poor team like Wales are getting to the semi finals by beating no one while Italy have to go through Spain and Germany by the quarter final stage something has gone badly wrong. Portugal were terrible in the group stages and deserved to be going home but after Croatia inexplicably didn't show up they basically got a bye through to the final.

The Germans don't deserve Gignac scoring against them!

The penalty changed the game for me!

If it had been 0-0 at half time I think it would have been a different game!!

The other semi final between those two went all right though.

Germany simply have not got anyone to match Griezmann.

Germans have looked very ordinary in this second half.

Wonderful from Lloris; he's made some very timely saves tonight.

Germany are a spent force.
