Germany simply have not got anyone to match Griezmann.
What has happened to Thomas Muller

Scores for fun in World Cups

But at the Euros he has forgotten how to score a goal

The penalty changed the game for me!

If it had been 0-0 at half time I think it would have been a different game!!
Definitely, but that's football.

Germany need finishers.

If I were a German player I'd be p*ssed at schweinsteiger! For someone who's played football for as long as he has he should know better!!!

Can't remember seeing a team boss a 1st half like that, yet lose 2-0. Germany lacking a cutting edge up front.

Well done, France. See you on Sunday.

It was a penalty for me. I really can't understand the complaints.

Everyone talks about deliberate, but if you take the law to the letter then there'd never be any handballs. Most handballs aren't deliberate. How many times do you see a player punching the ball off the line like Suarez in 2010?

Put your arm up that high and you can't be surprised when the referee penalises you.

Just as well the Germans don't have a Griezmann, they would be unstoppable.

Germany didn't show up in the second half, that penalty seemed to knock the stuffing out of them.

Germany badly missing Klose up front, Muller has been awful. Cost them tonight.

Surely the latter is more likely though?

Portugal won't suddenly feel the need to dispense with the approach that's got them to the final just because it is the final.

Italian revenge

If I were a German player I'd be p*ssed at schweinsteiger! For someone who's played football for as long as he has he should know better!!!
Very careless of him, but other than that moment he was immense in that first half

Germany can produce great goalkeepers, defenders and midfielders

But they cant produce a great striker
A bit silly to say that of a nation that produced Gerd Muller, Klinsmann, Klose and many many others and has always been one of the most attacking sides in world football

What a crazy game!

Germany was unbelievable in that first half. Some dream football from them. But France's much-criticised defence has been immense tonight. They played Italian football there and managed to hold under incredible pressure and the full force of the German attack. I must say I underestimated Dechamps. He got his tactics spot on.

Evra - bloody hell! That hole in the French team chooses tonight to play the best football of his career.

Griezmann - no words!

I did worry for Germany if they fell behind. Just couldn't see them scoring twice. It's crazy that German football has not produced a world class striker.

Deschamps deserves a lot of credit. Not afraid to drop players for the benefit of the team. His managerial record is very good. Great job at Monaco, delivered Marseille there first title in 20 years and back to the champions league. Took France to a final. Impressive CV.
