Its a real shame this isn't the final.

As for the winners of this game, my head says Germany but my heart says host advantage will push France and their suspect defence over the line.

We don't need another Germany win.

Vive la France.

France to win and score at least twice. I'll go 3-1. I really think home advantage, France's better goal threat and Germany's missing players will lead to a French win. Even if it is Germany they're playing. Not been overly impressed by either side generally but France definitely have the better creative talent and imagination with Pogba, Payet and Griezmann and aren't afraid to hit Giroud long for a bit of variety. The only thing that may scupper them is someone getting a red (like Pogba). Let's hope skill rather than stupidity triumphs though.

Should be an excellent game.

If it's as good a match as the 82 WC semi-final, that'll do me.

It's time we had a real classic, hopefully this can deliver that.

20 semis in the last 26 major tournaments.

Amazing stat for Germany.

No idea what to expect from this match whatsoever, which is probably a good thing.

Keown's expectations are probably a little optimistic.

Hopefully it will be a good match, and not a boring, tight one.

I don't think I've ever seen a referee wearing sky blue socks before.

What a goal that would have been by Griezmann.

I'm really finding them oddly distracting.

Griezmann should've buried that really.

Worrying for Germany how their defence just opened up to give Griezmann such a clear path.
