Wow, terrible decision by ref. He is Italian so he must still be angry about the Germans knocking out his country hahahaha.

Well, this referee has taken a nice back-hander before the game.

I've been noticing this in all the games that France have been in. Doesn't surprise me at all that this poor decision was given.

Ref seems to be a homer going by some of his decisions tonight.
Yes. He's pretty much waved away anything at the other end.

what an absolute joke

we have had france holding in the box all game, and he gives a penalty for absolutely nothing after 46 minutes.

The ref has spoiled this game, the UEFA showpiece. disgraceful

Ref has just ruined the game. Expect France to park the bus now.

I thought that was a shocking decision to give a penalty, spoiled what for me was the best 45 minutes of football I haver seen this tournament.

As much as I want Germany to win, the penalty decision was correct.

Schweinsteiger trying to gain an advantage at the corner leading with his hand rather than his head.

Saying that Kroos should have had a penalty/free kick for getting clipped edge of the box.

Well I was only coming on to post about Giroud and his pathetic miss but then the Germans let themselves down with that penalty give away by Scheissteiger.

Very harsh decision, but idiotic from Schweinsteiger to stick his hand up like that.

To be fair refs have always been favourable to the host nations in lots of tournaments.

Sure, you're right, but I'm finding it a bit too blatant.

Germany look poor in the forward positions this tournament which is unusual for them.

It may cost them

That was tough on Germany. Schwiny could have easily had a penalty at the other end if the ref wasn't swayed. Don't really want the game to be decided by that....

I was neutral before the game just wanted a good match - now 100% behind the Germans to try and come back from this shocker from the homer ref.

And if France win then unbelievably I will now have to support Portugal in the final.

Strange times...
