Honestly, I really liked them back in the 90s and I also thought they released some nice catchy songs. But I feel some things are best left in the past, especially as there are only the three of them. I also think they will struggle without the Mel C's vocals, as it's been known for years that her and Emma held the group together vocally.”

I'm looking forward to it (mostly because I'm a Emma fan) but in my opinion it depends on if they're just releasing new music or singing old songs as well (at a Concert for example). If they're singing old songs then Mel C lines will be very difficult to do (obviously) but if it's just new music then it won't matter in my opinion.

Still any new music from Emma is brilliant in my opinion as she hasn't released any music since 2007 (apart from her duet with Mel C) with her single "All I Need to Know" still I'd have preferred if she brought out Solo music again but still this is better than nothing in my view.

If Mel C was part of it id be a bit excited but this just feels flat

But it just feels a bit desperate, probably more so by Geri. To be it's always been about Geri. She needs it more than any of the others

I heard Mel B had unfollowed Mel C from all social Media so there is definitely some anger going on behind the scenes

It'll be interesting to see how it works, and although Mel C was always my least favourite (along with Geri) her voice will be missed. I'd already resigned myself to the fact Victoria wouldn't be there.

I always thought Mel B had the best voice in the group. Although Mel B is involved in the reunion, returning as a trio does look desperate on Geri, Emma and Mel B's half. Mel C and Victoria musn't need the money. I'd be surprised if the trio is a success.

Totally not here for this gem crap, what a way to ruin your legacy

GEM. How cringe. They need to just give it up. It's embarrassing.

I remember hearing Wannabe and wanting to cringe. Instantly hated that song. But, the ones that came after were much better, still really like Spice up your life ,and Who do you think you are.

But i don't think a reunion should be done.

Or you brought Smash Hits for the lyric cards they did.

I've still got some of mine.

I instantly disliked Wannabe & preferred the releases after that

I think the whole 'GEM' is embarrassing. Don't get me wrong, they've created this huge legacy for themselves, and they are a huge part of British music, but their time has come. They're all 40 and on different paths. They should just appreciate what they had. I don't blame Victoria for not wanting to do it, she knows music isn't her thing anymore and she's got a pretty successful career in fashion as it is.

Also I don't see it really working without Mel C and Victoria. Vocally, Mel C was the backbone, and although Victoria contributed the least she is probably the biggest name in the group now

Here's to the next 20 years without them Haha jk, I'd love to see them perform Viva Forever again.

It's nice they wanted to do something for the fans to celebrate the anniversary however this is all very underwhelming and two missing members is far too many.

I'm actually up for this if they record a new studio album.

I love each girls voice in this line up alot.

I can see why people would find it cringe though however I just want the Spice Girls album catalogue to be extended three piece or four piece or five piece.

All Saints were good too but you can't really compare them with the Spice Girls who were more fun

All saints were far more talented and produced far superior music.
A group being 'fun' isn't high up my list of criteria for me to be a fan.
Maybe because I was 25 in 1096 and not 12, I never understood the appeal of spice girls and found them irritating

All Saints albums are far superior to the Spice Girls ones, but I did like the singles from both groups. All Saints comeback worked because they didn't come across as desperate, unlike this GEM trio

All Saints 'Under the bridge' was a good cover. Even though didn't want to release it

What's fans or previous fans thoughts on why geri left really? Do you believe what she says about it? I don't, I think she used the group and was always going to quit she thought if she quit at the peak of the groups popularity and launch a solo career she could be the next madona or Kylie or something in her head. She used the group too name a big name for herself made sure she was one to get all the press attention etc then jump ship at the height of the groups fame I think

Having spend the day thinking about this I am looking forward to it because there is at least one new single. TT managed to carry on as a trio so SG will be able to sell a gig or two out as a trio. If Mel C and Posh want no part of it them fine leave them to it although I'm pretty sure Mel C will be at the gig just not on the new single. I think the new " GEM" could be a swipe in so way to MSK and will lead on to other things.

I rejected the last come back but will very much support this one.

Spot on.

In 1996 not many people had the internet, and I certainly didn't.

Back in 1996 you had to wait for the next issue of Smash Hits magazine where they would print lyrics to the biggest chart hits.

It does feel flat that Spice Girls are reuniting without Mel C as she was by far the groups best vocalist.

Thinking about it though, when you consider how well Rick Astley is doing in the UK album chart right now, a new Spice Girls album might actually proof to be a popular purchase for all the original fans. Just like how Rick Astley's album has been selling through word of mouth, and more and more of his original fans are buying his album.

Yeah I do wonder how they are going to distribute Mel C's lines. They won't have any problems with Vicky's

I really enjoyed Emma's music and I loved her album Free Me.

Yeah.. it's been a difficult few weeks all in all!

I hope you all get behind this.

Song For Her is brilliant. Hopefully you will all get to here it.

Something is happening regardless but what exactly it is and how big all depends on us, the fans!
