What is it about Frenchmen who think they are the gurus of love. The French Maitre D' is like a Fred mini me with all his annoying quotes and philosophies about love.

I am not sure they are Fred's personal quotes/philosophies though...they are so mundane as to be boringly obvious for the most part (but said in a voice like they are revealing the secrets of the universe!) Ha!!

The french are considered sexy! I would have thought the Italians would have the association with being romantic though.

Ha!! ![]() Most of them are just stating the bleedin' obvious. It's just annoying that they are turning this guy into a clone of Fred just because they are both French.

I don't understand why they do this. It breaks up the continuity for no good/explicable reason. |

Well it is another appendage of the same programme, i.e. the same format.

They've obviously cut these episodes right down for the UK, which you would guess from the fact they're only about half an hour long. It all felt very rushed and the dates seemed to end abruptly. Think I'll give episode 2 a miss.

I agree the two half hour episodes did seem rushed from Canada.
First episode: All the guys were full on. ![]() second episode: I'm glad that Alexa gave Johnny a chance after their awkward start. Phew Marisa gave cringey Andrew a wide berth. |

OMG the English muscular guy was so narcissistic. "I know that I am good looking". Wow. If he was a chocolate bar he'd eat himself. Such a turn off. I can see why he was single. He was a douche.

What a complete airhead the girl on the date with the British guy was. She thought London was a country and when he tried to explain to her that London and Manchester were cities in England and that England was a country in Great Britain she sat there with a completely vacuous look on her face. Like WHOOSH!!!!

I think her date was more concerned that she didn't know who he was.

Well that's the end of the Canadian episodes and nothing showing up on my planner for next week, so guess that could be it for this run.

Just watched through these latest ones on catchup. So many didn't appear to be looking for love....

The two gay guys who ate the snail and its shell were funny, but too similar to be a match.
