Joachim Low will be avaliable after these Euros
Germany going out, will probably mean he will leave his post as German manager
Do you think he could be a good option to become the next England manager |

And suddenly it makes a lot more sense that Liverpool are offering Jurgen Klopp an improved, longer contract.

They have quite a few managers they could choose from
Jupp Heynekes Felix Magath Jurgen Klinsmann 2. Err... NO! 3. No. Germans are under no illusions that Low was the reason behind Klinsmann's success I thought Tuchel was the favourite to take over if Low leaves (they were talking about a contract extension after the Italy game) |

Bayern & Germany @iMiaSanMia · 13m
The DFB president says Joachim Löw will still be Germany's coach at the 2018 World cup. |

The DFB president says Joachim Löw will still be Germany's coach at the 2018 World cup. And the German public is very unforgiving. I honestly think he would be a great England manager and literally any result will be better than what his predecessor did |

Probably make sure he's wiped it first, though...
![]() One of the comments below Low's smelly youtube video: "am not saying its acceptable but frankly roy could fart in a bag and spend the entire match sniffing it through a straw if it meant England were half as succesful as löws" |

He went from 'will be available' in the title to 'probably' in the post. Hell of a turnaround.

He extended his contract to 2018 and the next WC last year, can't see why that should change now, Germany have hardly had a poor tournament. They we're unlucky last night against a team who it seems were destined to reach the final and almost certainly lift the trophy.

Because the German press and fans are already bashing him. Unless he wins another World Cup, the only way is down. German public is very demanding. He should have left after the 2014 triumph, but I'm sure he looked at the state of other European teams and was pretty confident he could win the double

And he wouldn't get that here?
Despite popular belief, press and fan expectations in England are infinitely lower than in most other big football nations. German football has set such a high standard that the public demands titles and anything less than a title is a failure. And a quarter final exist is a disaster. England's results have been so poor over the past 20 years that expectations are at a minimum. A quarter final exist would be deemed a great success and a semi-final would make him immortal. Low, as a German World Cup-winning coach with an impeccable record would have the authority to do whatever he liked. He would have instant respect (and fear) of players and fans. He could pick and choose whoever he wanted and no one would question him. And England might lay to bed their Germany demons. I really think Low would be ideal for England (and the other way around) and I think it's time England put their fate into the hands of a real top manager. |

Revie was the first to really get it (probably with good reason), then they got the taste for it. Bobby Robson is seen as a national hero now, but he had absolute hell for years from the press, and every manger since then, including Venables who got some good stuff, have been hammered. The press will already be polishing their knives for whoever comes next, and plenty of supposed fans, as well as those who aren't, but enjoy England kicking, will go for it after every game that is not won. |

Give over. Nearly every England manager has been slaughtered by the media since the days of Sir Alf. He got away with it for a few years, because of 1966, but they went for him in the end.

Look how the press is treating Klopp despite his less than stellar season and he hasn't even won a Champions League title, let alone a World Cup. Low would be untouchable. |

Eriksson and Capello had big reputations and both got regularly slaughtered by the press.

And under Capello England started playing such awful football after the very decent displays under Sven, that he was (rightfully in my view) blamed. Plus, he didn't speak English and had no clue about English players (nor did he care). Low is a totally different type of manager. Anyway, he is most likely staying in Germany, so it's all a moot point, but if he were to become available - I don't think England could dream of a better manager. |

Nope. The press would never criticise Low as long as his results were better than Hodgson's (not a big challenge there). You have never before had a manager with Low's reputation.
Look how the press is treating Klopp despite his less than stellar season and he hasn't even won a Champions League title, let alone a World Cup. Low would be untouchable. Even in the 60s Sir Alf wouldn't give them the time of day, and he was able to get away with it for a few years. Nowadays, the manager has targets pinned to them for the press to hit. |
