The sixth and final season of the excellent Justified started last night on Spike. Good to have it back.

The episode can be seen on Virgin catch-up, by the way, or I guess on the Channel 5 website as season 5 was.

I don't know why Spike have to put it on so late at night. And the new season of "19/2" as well. But I am glad they are showing it at last.

I read in my EPG that Winona will put in an appearance tonight.
I bet it's no more than that, shame!

Some of the best scenes in detective dramas.

I've posted this link on an old thread, this from 2010

Here's one from 2015.

Didn't see this week's coming either!

Maybe the producers are trying to reduce the cast costs.

Last ever episode tonight.

I miss Winona.

Will Raylan ever see her again?

Well, record it, in case you fall asleep whilst you're watching it.
It's a way of "enjoying the same programme several times."

Only seen the first two of this last series because my Spike is crap.

Might as well but it for £10.99.

Well, it may not have been what everyone expected but I enjoyed the rather thoughtful finale.

Overall, a really terrific show. Sorry to see it go.

I was amazed that so many of the main characters were still alive at the end! I will miss it very much.

Really you didn't want any of the last three to die, did you?

A final scene for Raylan and Winona. Not the end for which we might have hoped.

No apologies for re-posting these

Some great moments in them.

No, I didn't want them to die, was just surprised that none of them did.

I loved the lawman who brought Raylan in and didn't want to give him up to Art. He was so like Raylan!

Yeah!

Raylan made the point didn't he?

I found the death of Kathryn Hale in a previous episode quite surprising.

I’ve been catching up on this on DVD, and watched the series finale last night.

I had to come in here and express how brilliant I thought it was. Sometimes a brilliant programme fails to have a brilliant ending, but Justified did not disappoint.
I’m really glad they wrapped up this season’s storyline and then allowed some additional time for series closure.

One of my top 10, maybe top 5, dramas of all time, without a doubt.

I loved the final scene:
Raylan: Well, I suppose if I allow myself to be sentimental, despite all that has occurred, there is one thing I wander back to...
Boyd: We dug coal together.
Raylan: That's right.
