Now the girl down the road won't believe that I was looking through her bedroom window because I needed a Grumpig. Another court case....

I know what you mean, it's like those grown ups who fanatically follow a football team and chat about it in forums as if they, as supporters, have any effect at all into how their team plays. They even say things like "good result for us". I mean "us"! as if they were there on the pitch, seriously screwed up thinking there in my opinion.

I mean it's not as bad in my opinion as adults setting aside time in their week, time when they could be doing something important, to watch a soap like Eastenders and then spend even more important time discussing the rediculous plots!

I think we can all agree that some adults are just weird and he's left to wallow in their weirdness 😄
Adults watching football and Eastenders just can't be put on the same level as adults playing Pokemon. Pokemon is meant for kids. It's not all that far off from grown men watching Teletubbies before bedtime and citing nostalgia as his reasons imo.

Nope, can do it straight away, not sure how often it refreshes!

So glitchy and buggy today, gym battles dropping out, lost 4 pokemon as the screen froze as soon as they went in the ball. Screen locking up too!

Got me a hitmonlee though!
I claimed just there for one gym (had 4 yesterday) and there's a 20hr countdown timer on it now.

I'll know for again

But Candy Crush etc are fine for adults?

That's a strange comparison. There is nothing inherently grown up about football. I played it as a kid. The only form of entertainment that's really only limited to adults (legally anyway) is, ahem, adult entertainment.

I went for a 30 minute walk and had to crash out over 10 times I know that Niantic are a tiny company dealing with (naively) unexpected demand but its getting really annoying. There was a high point Crabby near my house just now that I caught 3 times but it froze just as I caught it. Sometimes you still catch he pokemon when that happens but no such luck. The Pidgy that turned up afterwards went down without a fight though

I feel your pain. I, too, hate to see anyone actually enjoying themselves.

I agree it's a good thing to get kids out and exercising, not so much some adults who are losing their jobs because of playing it.
If adults are losing their jobs over Pokemon then I'm sorry but it's the adults to blame, not the game!!

I don't think I'll ever get that bat like creature. 60 pokeballs and I still didn't capture it. I think I'm missing something fundamental.

So an Aerodactyl appeared near me. I clicked on it, nothing happend for like 3 minutes. Restarted the game and it was still there. Started a battle with it, game froze. Restarted game again and it was gone. So annoyed right now, lol.

I don't personally play it but took my little Nephew out yesterday cause he wanted to play. We must have walked about 10 mile overall which is some feat considering he starts complaining when we walk the length of a road usually. It was funny seeing people playing, some trying not to make it so obvious (phone in their pocket and just peeking at it every now and then). There was a mix between kids and adults and everyone seemed good spirited, giving people advice on where they found pokemon and things. My Nephew ended up finding about 12 or so pokemon when we were out but he said a lot of them were the same but he would transfer them???? so it wasn't a wasted day.

Edit: I've just seen on Facebook a group of my friends are planning a scavenger hunt later on today, looks like 20+ are going on it, I've tried to arrange a get together with friends for months and I'm lucky if I can get 6 to commit

There's a gym that I can see from my front window but I'm not quite close enough to use it from my house, however it turns out I am close enough to still use my wifi sitting on the bench between my house and the gym

Well it finally happened. I finally wasted an hour of my life at some PokeStop in the park chatting to 2 random lads who I'd never met in my life. Weird how Pokemon Go is getting people to do this.

Also missed out on the chance to catch an Abra because I was chasing a HItmonchan. The Hitmonchan had a CP of 19. fml.

Decided to head out for a little egg hatching hike today with my brother, have 3 eggs, 2 2 km eggs and 1 5 km egg, got 0.2 km in before the server gave up on my brother, fortunately it still ran fine for me so I ended up using the local Pokestop 5 times while we gave the game servers a chance to return for my brother, managed to net a further 4 eggs and 12 Pokeballs, but the servers didnt come back online for my bro so we decided to bail and go home - then of course the servers decided to magically start working for him when we got home, so we did yet another u-turn and headed back out, only for the servers to then go down on me, meaning we had to go home again, at which point, once again, the servers magically came back online.

Frustrating doesn't even begin to describe it.

I downloaded it 2 days ago and I must say I'm loving it....even though I've not got a clue who which Pokémon is.

Just been into my local village and got stopped 10 times by folk asking where things were. I must have seen over 100 people playing in different parts.

I'm on level 4 but the bloody servers went down when I was near to a cluster of blue spinning things.

Same here. Until Friday night the only one I could name was a Pikachu.

I got home to find one of my housemates drunk and playing it, she insisted that I download it and half an hour later we were wondering the streets collecting them. Which wouldn't have been to bad except that it was 2 AM.

Not at the moment but only cos I haven't looked into sideloading.

I could help you on the first 150 name wise but after that I'm stuck.

I was out in the sticks this weekend and there were no pokemon about. Back home now though, went for a walk and came back with a Seel, a Dratini, a Cuebone and a Bellsprout.

I'm only 700m off hatching a 10km egg, so I'm off out for a walk soon.

Servers have been down for me all day and most of yesterday, which is annoying as I was in Portsmouth which seems like a haven for electric Pokemon and I was close to getting my first Picachu when the servers died.
