A friend told me if i really want a pokemon bad, i should turn off the AR, it worked too only took 5 pokeballs to catch a Kangaskhan.
I never use AR anyway, I find it highly distracting and much harder to catch Pokemon.

Had a fairly good morning. Got 4 new Pokemon, a Staryu and a Rhyhorn through hatching 5k eggs and a Hypno and a Golbat through evolving. The Hypno has 863CP after Evolution .. my highest.

Got up level 16 too.

Have been having issues getting on at all today, most likely because of the release in Japan, hopefully things will kick into gear again in a few hours though.

After finally tracking down my last Growlithe, I had enough dust to evolve it into an Arcanine. Have been wanting to get one for ages now lol.

Do you stop getting Pokeballs and stuff after a certain level? I just got to Level 12 but got no balls or anything.

I still get them at level 16 but less of them.

My sound has gone yet again on the game. I've logged out and back but it's still not working. Plus my pokedex is glitchy. I can't look at any pokemon other then my charmander.

Turns out Squirtle and Charmander both frequently spawn at Hampton Court Palace, so that was a lovely old walk around.

Also managed to get Staryu, Poliwag, a whole ton of Goldeen and Magikarp, a Beedrill and a Lapras, not bad going today.

I walk past 3 lakes to get to work every day but I hadn't seen any water type pokemon for a week. I mentioned this to my sisters last night and I've had a Polliwag, Shellder and Seel come right into my house today. I'm starting to worry my house is slowly flooding and I haven't noticed

I was at my nephew's today and he lives in the middle of nowhere and there's never any Pokemon there. So I gave him my phone today and used an incense so he could catch some stuff. I got a Ponyta and a Tentacool from it. Also found a Clefairy but he ran away. Gonna use them in the countryside more often.

I got 48 Spearow candy and then a Fearow comes flying in my living room. What a waste of time

I'm thinking of getting an external charger for my Samsung Galaxy S5, because of this. Partly because I want to hatch eggs while on the bus, and to be able to play out longer. I could go to town, do what I can, then when my battery gets low, charge it while I go for lunch.

I'm looking, and found this link to the Mirror suggesting plenty of people had the same idea. Apparently the demand for portable battery chargers has increased because of Pokémon Go.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/tech/pokemon...-hacks-8454557

So, I'm looking, and might well find what I want before anyone replies, but just in case I thought I'd put it to you people in case you had any recommendations.

I want to be able to charge while on the Go.

I've identified these three, and it just depends on what I'm willing to spend. All from Maplin, a shop I quite like.

2,000mAh at £5:

5,000mAh at £15:

10,000mAh at £30:

I'm leaning towards the 5,000mAh. This isn't just for Pokémon Go, either, but for other purposes.

Me & my husband have been playing pokemon go for about a week now, I'm 29yrs old I use to love the pokemon cartoon series when I was younger, I had a bit of a secret crush on Ash me & my brother use to collect the trading cards too. My favourite is eevee or any of the cute normal type jigglypuff, meowth etc

When me & my husband were in the living room sitting on the sofa next to each other we both got silhouette of an eevee, it appeared in front of him & he managed to catch it so annoying we were sitting in the exact same place but it never appeared for me even after he caught it I was still getting a eevee siloutte after doing a few laps around the living room I gave up. It's funny how competitive you get & annoyed when someone gets the one pokemon you wanted lol

What you need is one of these 😂

That needs a "shut up and take my money" meme response.

Funnily enough I saw some portable chargers yesterday and thought to myself "one of those would be useful for playing Pokemon Go".

My main issue has been my lack of data as I only have 1GB on my current contract. I was eating through before the game was released anyway but even more so now. Rather than face the prospect of 2 weeks no data before it resets I've increased my data plan to 3GB a month. Much better!

I got a 4000 battery pack in Penny's (Primark) for €8. Does the job for me. It's nice and small tho so easy to carry around. But if I had seen the Pokeball one before I got that then I'd have bought the Pokeball.

I may have ordered a Pikachu outfit for my dog last night from eBay 😊

Was in town catching some Pokemon from half 9 until half 2 last night. Had great fun with some people I met. Got Abra. Butterfree and Magicarp. Also got to level 18.

Has anyone managed to evolve their Magicarp yet ?

I'm starting to find that too. I'm glad I toddled past lots of pokestops last night and topped up on pokeballs!

The players round here must be taking the game very seriously – the CP of pokemon left in gyms far outdoes anything I have yet

Been playing a bit of Pokemon Go between work in town. Handy in that there is free wifi in town centre and plenty of pokemon stops to build up on pokeballs. Today I caught:

Ratata x#
Pidgey x#
Zubat x#
Spearow x2
Gastly
Drowzee
Krabby
Venonat
Horsea

Also I noticed some of the outdoor seating was full with people on their phones at a gym area so I'm assuming they were busy playing.

Edit: I also got four eggs. Only at 0.8km though for the one in incyubation.

And I am so close to level 5 I would have stayed in town longer but I was tired from work and my feet hurt
Aaaaaand I evolved a pidgey into a new Pidgeotto CP 106
