You could try and run it. Just download the APK file and install and see how it runs.
Thanks, I'll give it a go What does APK mean?

Hi,
I have an Android phone (Samsung S3 Mini) but Pokemon Go wont work When I went to the Google Play store, all I got was a message saying "Your device isnt compatible with this version" So I cant download it.
I had that with my S4 Mini, I couldn't download it through the play store app but it worked when I went through the site online and it downloaded to my phone easily. It's worth checking.

APK is basically the file form for an Android Application. Rather than download it from the Google Play store, which will restrict your ability to download it based on your hardware, you can go online and just google "Pokemon Go APK download" on your phone and download it through a link on the internet, it's what pretty much everyone did before the game was "officially" released here in the UK

Good.

I know someone's partner from work who has about 85% of all Pokemon available because he spoofing that he was in quite a few different states of the US.

Hope he get a ban TBH.

I've noticed today that since the recent updates that your character no longer moves when you enter shops so can't add to hatching your eggs while walking around Tesco doing the shopping.
Strange. I can still do that in Sydney. I hatched an egg while shopping just today.

I never got why people would bot anyway, there's an entire subreddit dedicated to botting in Pokemon Go and it's just...pathetic.

Completely takes the fun and the point out of the game if you're hacking to acquire any pokemon you want at any CP you want and it obviously ruins it for other people too.

And then they have the gall to complain and whine when they realise they've been banned. Assholes deserve whatever punishment they get

Went down to the local park earlier which has a Gym which my son wanted to take over, no sooner than we took over the gym somebody was already battling to kick us out but there was nobody else around.
I gather it was possibly one of these GPS spoofers, hopefully they'll get banned at some point.

I'm gradually creeping to 90 caught, mainly down to 5km eggs which seem to have a huge variety. Unless its a new area or one rich in types I need, I'm largely giving up on day to day catching now, seems little point. Either using eggs to catch new ones, or get the candy for evolutions I need. I'm finding gyms are pointless, you can never hold them long enough to gain any benefit.

I'm pleased they combating cheats, but they also need to think of new elements at further updates to keep the variety going.

There are 3 pokestops almost together in a park about 5 minutes away from me. They close it and shut the gates at 6pm. Last night coming home (this is about almost 8) i see there is a lure at every pokestop.

I suppose it could a groundskeeper, but i doubt it.

There's a gym in my town that I used to take over on my way to work. Most days I saw the same person on it. On Thursday, a sign went up saying it was private property and that trespassers would be prosecuted so I haven't touched it since. That same person was on it. It had been taken over by someone else when I went to work on Friday, but it was back in the hands of the first person when I was coming home.

I'm not sure which is worse: that person is living beside the gym and wants to keep it to himself, he's ignoring the owner's sign and trespassing anyway, or he's spoofing.

I've noticed they seem to be changing a few of the nests. There's one I pass every day on the way to work, the week before last I got Polliwags every morning then last week it was Magikarps. They don't seem to be doing it with all nests though. There's one near me that pops out a Nidoran every so often, until the big update a couple of weeks ago it always gave males now it only gives females and hasn't changed.

Private property won't be putting anyone off. If access to the best local lure spot is blocked by gates, people will climb over the gates or find another way through.

The golf course near me is private property and I've seen the police randomly driving up there after dark. The place was a magmar spawn point, and now spawns electabuzz - probably at the rate of 5 or so an hour. You still get groups of people up there every night wandering across the courses on the off chance they find something.

I can understand some people some live in Rural Areas and the nearest Pokestop is 20 miles away.

If someone is Disabled/Housebound I can understand that to.

My 2 boys have been playing so i joined in getting pokemon while heading to and from work and the 3 of us taking our dogs for a walk and getting 2 of the gyms near us.

One of them is a church and we have taken over the gym 2 or 3 times and straight away someone starts battling it and sure enough the same name appears even though there is no one around.

Best thing to do is stay in range until someone takes over it and then send over their username to niantic through the settings menu and hopefully they should get banned and then sick of having to start over it might cost them a few thousand users but should keep the real players active.

Managed to catch a wild Aerodactyl, Electabuzz and Rapidash today which brings my Pokédex total up to 95, meaning I only have about 45-50 left to obtain, it's gonna start getting really grindy now seeing as most of the ones I have left to obtain are the 3rd evolution forms like Charizard, Blastoise, Gengar, Machamp, etc. which all require 100 candy.

On the bright side, I've also got 200 Magikarp candy so I'm halfway to a Gyarados too.

Losing interest quick with this.
I work 5 days a week and live in a small village and o just can't justify traveling to nearest town centres to play a game. Iv done pretty well so far considering.
The gyms are really pointless, so the ones i have took over I have put a level 10 caterpie in for the laugh.

I'm still enjoying this. I'm midway through Level 17 and my Pokedex is up to 71. Capturing an average of two new Pokemon each day now, but I am getting utterly sick of seeing Drowzees everywhere. Seriously wish they would just **** off.

This is what I loved about going to Edinburgh, for the entire week I was there I didn't happen across one stupid Drowzee, and of course the minute I get within a couple of miles of London they start popping up all over the place again

They're worse than Rattata and Pidgey for me, like I can't explain it properly but there's something that really gets to me about their animation now, can't be doing with Drowzee anymore.

I class Drowzee's as average around here, more likely to see them but they're not around every corner unlike the vermin (Rattata, Wedles and Pidgys) so I don't sigh every time I see one but equally I don't bother catching one when I'm out and about, not worth wasting my limited data and battery on.
