Bit of a random thread, but why not. Inspired by the recent Corrie "Last Goodbye" trailer, what is your favourite all time trailer for a "Soap event" trailer/ I've included the ones I can remember, but If you have your own and have a link to it, then by all means choose that However, remember these are trailers for big weeks, events or stunts, so "This Summer" or "This Christmas etc, do not count.

Unfortunately I can't post a poll, but I will keep tabs on the results. If you can, watch the trailers to remind yourselves. I've only done Corrie & Emmerdale, partly because I don't watch the other two and also partly because I haven't got the time nor can I be arsed to find out trailers and type them up. Feel free to post for these If you wish

The one that sprung to my mind before reading the thread was Emmerdale - who will meet their summer fate - there was something rather creepy and fascinating about it.

Cain's judgement day in Emmerdale was really good. Probably my favourite. I also liked the summer fate one too.

One that sticks out for Corrie was the "Killer Katy" trailer when Katy Harris killed her dad. Corrie was going through a real gritty phase then and this one was really disturbing.

"There's a killer amongst them" Lucy's murder in Eastenders.

Aside from being a really unique way of doing the trailer and the song fit really well with it, it actually worked in well with the storyline and had subtle little clues. Like Denise looking in the floorboards at the Beales, when she found Lucy's phone that ended up being hidden there. Max throwing the rubbish out when he'd tried to clean Lucy's blood in the car lot. Peter burying his secret about him being Lucy's dealer and Jane cleaning the boot of her car when she'd used it to move Lucy's body. It was pretty clever how they did it.

Another of my favourites was the Corrie "Nowhere left to run" trailer, but only because of the Benny Hill parody.

One of the comments in the second trailer.

"I guess you could say all will be rebealed.......I'll let myself out."

Eastenders always does the best promo vids,
My favourites are:
1. Ronnie and Roxy's arrival at the Vic, to the theme of Calvin Harris' Girls
2. The two Lucy Beale trailers
3. Ricky and Bianca's return in 2008. Bianca's screeching blows out the windows of the Vic.
4. Peggy's "Last Orders"
5. Peggy and Archies wedding trailer

Pffffffffft, none of them hold a candle to St Stella Price's 'explosive' arrival:

Love Eva's glance at Sophie and Sian.........some here thought she was a lesbian.
