Did anyone else think Phil looked rather yellow in last night's ep?

Me and my sister watched it earlier on and we both thought his skin had a distinct yellow tinge, probably to do with him having liver disease.

Or maybe it was just the lighting.

The yellowness of Phil's skin was very noticeable last night. I really am starting to feel that they could kill him off shortly. We are all so used to him getting away with everything but maybe this time the liver disease will get him. It would certainly be a big shock but true to life for once.

This is progress, I have been p****d off so far with Phil's liver failure storyline as it was all a bit meh, he was diagnosed then business as usual but at least now they are showing the physical effects and he does look ill. They are going to have to hurry up with a transplant otherwise he will become to ill to undergo such a massive operation.
On a lighter note, no one seems to mention even to each other that Phil's looking a bit yellow!

he has been varying degrees of yellow for months. when he stopped drinking it lessoned alot. I think the strain of carrying the coffin etc prob but too much pressure on him and caused more of a tinge

Maybe the Mitchell tragedy that was mentioned in Inside Soap mag has something to do with Phil, maybe he collapses and ends up fighting for his life.

It well could be. Has Ben been tested as a possible donor I wonder? Or any of the family for that matter?

Phil will never be killed off, anytime soon.

It could be actually, for the episode on the 18th July it mentions about the Beale's and Mitchell's turmoil and according to the EastEnders cast list Phil gets the Duff Duff, might mean Phil is in trouble then again it could be nothing. I think we need to move forward with the Phil alcohol/liver transplant story line soon as Phil can't just stay the same forever his Liver needs to fail or he gets Pneumonia or something and dies or he has the Liver transplant.

Subtle but good by EE. My friend died of liver failure at 34. I commented on his jaundiced appearance but alas it was too late...... I hope they keep it realistic and Phil gets a Liver transplant, cos trust me, people can die fast...... it would be unrealistic for him to carry on as normal
