So the bedroom was off limits to Jase . Same with the living area . If he sat on a chair for longer than three seconds she appears and drapes herself across him or plonks herself onto his knee burbling "can I have a hug Pwease ?" in a creepy baby voice .
Out on the bench he can wedge himself in with the boys for a bit of protection from incoming love bombs , "can I have a cuddle Jasey-wasey?" Barf .”

Why do you presume to know what he is thinking or is he messaging you direct?

You write as though 'you know' rather than having an opinion.

Well heres my 'opinion'

I think that he chased her because he liked the chase as many people do. Once he caught her the chase was over and he lost interest.
By then she had fallen hook line and sinker and was infatuated by him and obviously unable to let go.

However

I also think that he quite likes the fact that he is holding her in the palm of his hand.

They are both as bad as each other although she at least knows how to smile., He on the other hand has a face like a slapped arse whether she was sitting with him or not. The type of person that is like an emotional vampire and sucks all the positive vibes out of the room.

God knows what she sees in him.

Mind you I think they are both bloody awful.

No but I am not the one making accusations .Surly we are supposed be talking about fact not Fiction .Otherwise we could just make anything up and Discuss it ,but it would have no relevance at all to BB

If the OP is really Charlie, I would have liked to hear more from her.

Most of you lot have gone and scared her off!

I know poor thing.
It's not Charlie I have seen the poster on here before. Her forum name stood out.

What Jayne said in the diary room earlier, gives some indication of what lurks beneath the mask of Jason.

Tominxster's take seems spot on to me.

I also think they want different things. He wants booty call and she wants baby zone.
He's had a child, it's not something he desires.

She presents quite confident and free spirit. Part of her is that but another part is the one that wants to be a wife and mother.

But when Jayne put him in his place and told him he was just angry at being nommed! (Regardless of the reason) which was the truth!

Watch that ego Jase! Keep cooking and speaking quietly...shhhhhhh now......keep the mask in place!”

Hi Charlie.

Wasn't much of a mask...could see it early when he tried to come off as 'down with the girls' when he commented on how anti-woman he must look for nominating Laura.

He's a fake baked snake.

Jason and his gang have the same thing going, they do it with a nudge and a wink. Andy, Jason and the Romulan never have and never will nominate each other. Their clique is pathetic. Only Alex and Jackson have deviated and actually nominated Andy.

Shame there are so many rude people that would prefer to attack a new poster rather than respond to the post. Shame on all you girls who did that. Jason is a grown up man who has his own clique and they have all managed to make the same "I got your back" agreement.

Welcome to DS.”

Agree with every word of this.

This thread is rather nasty. And I'm not Charlie, nor do I like her even one little bit.

But this sainthood that's been landed on Jason is a bit difficult to swallow. He's a bit of a dull arse, really, isn't he?

From the show he comes across as glued to the outside smoking bench. Outside of tasks and telling others off for what he does himself.

Jason is arrogant and did get unnecessarily angry over his nominations. In the bathroom with Laura he used Jackson's trick of speaking over a woman and not letting her reply to his questions whilst getting increasingly angry. Evelyn coped well raising her voice so he would actually listen but Jayne really took him to task and was spot on.”

I really am aghast that so many are fooled by Jason. It's completely visible. He tries but cannot hide it. He's not a loveable teddy. Charlie is right about him, but no one will losten because they think she's crazy, or have opted to take Jason's side. Shocking.

Hear hear! Someone said he was 'unnecessarily angry' for being nommed. Would anyone be happy? His 'mask' has slipped because he shows emotions once in a while?

What is completely visible? I keep hearing what a snake this man is without the evidence of what he has done. Was he crawling on his belly and I missed it? Or are we judging people by what we IMAGINE they have done these days?

However Jason's 'clique' have done it they have not broken the rules. You are allowed to have friends on the show and it makes perfect sense that friends wouldn't vote for each other. However everyone knows that they cannot discuss it. And as you pointed out it can't be much of a clique if they are prepared to nominate each other.

Rude I asked a question of the OP, which I am entitled to do.

No wonder why politicians and the media are so easily able to manipulate the masses. We are half asleep, even when things are in our faces. Ridiculous.

Hes definitely a manipulator. The 'sorry', 'Im sorry about that' every time something happened between them in there said to the others when she walked away is testament to that. One of the oldest manipulations going. Was always after she walked away.

puts everything onto the other person and ensures that the group' are on your side.

The fact he's sorry shows that he is the 'better' person. (although doesn't suck me in)

However thy are both at fault and have been in the wrong. Im fed up of seeing on here how Jason is the hard done by even though he is obviously a main player in this destructive, highly emotional abusive relationship. They both are.

The best thing in my personal opinion that can happen is for her to see all that he has been saying after repeatedly saying he has her back and get angry so that she can finally cut ties.

At least he knows what she said but she has no idea (well didn't in there) that her precious Jase has been setting her up big time,

When Jayne comes out I hope their friendship helps her to get past this terrible point in her life which without question she will regret in a year from now.

It's actually sort of scary. I don't understand how people miss it when there are people around them who aren't what they seem. I halfway attribute it to us having this black and white thinking. Yes Charlie was a terror, but people are looking at that and running with it, completely disregarding how dodgy Jason is because it does not fit in with that narrative of him being the lovable victim of this crazy 'bunny boiler.'

Craziness. Every time you look at him, it looks like his head is going to explode with barely concealed anger. Before Charlie said those things about him in her eviction interview, that was already my perception of Jason. Just because she is a crappy, insecure, damaged woman, it doesn't mean she isn't telling the truth about Jason. And the argument about her saying those things and still wanting him negating that those things are true is bullshit, because - as Charlie said - we have all been there; where we love someone we know is a ****ing asshole, yet we love them anyway, and know they aren't good for us, but we want them regardless. It's that black and white thinking again that so many adopt when they disagree with someone or their behavior. People forget their common sense and disregard their own experiences in order to justify the narrative that already exists within their heads, robbing themselves of the wider picture.

From the start of the series he's been shifty as all hell. And it has grown as the series has gone on. Now the housemates are picking up on it. Charlie highlighted it too, but I had already noticed and felt this quality about Jason prior to her even going into the main house.
