Good evening everyone. I have had a samsung j5 for around 12 Months which been a great phone up until last week when I broke the screen. I was looking into getting another, but was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with other dual sim phones that they would recommend? As I was always struggling with running ot of space on the j5. I used to get 4g in my s5 but for some reason my j5 never picked up 4g on either networks

Thanks

Moto G4 / G4Plus has dual sim option and I'm pleased with mine. There's also 2nd gen Moto G dual Sim but they're 3G only.

I have a Huawei Honor 6 Plus that has two sim slots though only one is 4g. Good phone though not a current model the second sim slot can be used as a micro sd slot or alternatively, the on-board memory is 32GB

Too big for your needs, and a 'brand' tarnished by its association with old TVs, but ridiculous specs for £200:

Due to be released in the first week of August...

Stupid to call it Bush as the name is tainted, I presume it's another rebadged Alacatel?

I agree. With what looks like (on paper at least) great specs, it would have made far more sense to use a brand that might not put potential buyers off. I'm not generally bothered about what people think of my 'brand' choices, but even I'd think twice about buying a Bush phone.

Alcatel Dual SIM (check the model ends with a K)
IDOL 3 4.7 inch 6039K
IDOL 3 5.5 inch 6045K
IDOL 4 5.2 inch 6050K
IDOL 4 5.5 inch 6070K

I have the IDOL 3 5.5 and it's a great phone. Runs 5.0.2 but not a problem. Due to go to 6.0.1 this month/Aug. I got mine from Amazon.de.

The 4.7 inch is available via Amazon UK for around £180.

Don't know anything about it so read the reviews.

Well yes - just a bit of confusion over a missing 'space'...
Android platform version 5.5.5 (L)
should be
Android platform version 5. 5.5 (L)

It's 142mm or 5.5 inches long

Reading the specs (assuming they are right) on the Bush phone it says no gyro sensor so another phone that won't work with apps that need to know where they are pointing such as compass or star maps apps.

My Moto G4 is the same, really annoying first time I've had a phone that didn't have one of those sensors built in, would put me off.

However, when you look at it it's pretty obvious that the person who wrote it genuinely thought it was Android 5.5.5 as it wasn't the natural place to put the dimension, in between the Android version and the amount of memory.

If you want to splash the cash on the only truly decent dual sim phone on the market currently (also surprised no one has mentioned it yet);

One Plus 3

Direct from One Plus for about 330 GBP

Screen a bit big for what you appear to want, but 6gb Ram, Snapdragon 820, 64gb storage, etc etc.

For the money you can't go wrong (I have one so thats saying something).

Except the second sim is 2G only and pretty useless for anything but phone calls (and completely useless if sim 2 is a Three sim). We need more modern dual sim models like the new Moto.
