Another wasted opportunity to show an EFL Cup game. A decent PL game in exchange though.
That's of course if they dont change their mind again and not show the PL game when the time comes, not seen anything decent on there yet.

You will see even more Netball on Sky Sports Mix this season as Sky has signed a 4-year deal which will see them show all home international matches and all the matches from the yearly Quad series.

you are not going to get the top tier stuff. It's as simple as that. There's a reason its 'free' to sky customers

They can make changes to the schedule if they see fit.
Schedules are subject to change with no notice!

Users making posts as if they have some sort of entitlement to something listed and behaving in a manner that strikes of being offended Sky changed the schedules.

Well everyone who has SSM is a paying customer to either Sky or Virgin Media.

I wouldn't be happy if, for instance, Sky Atlantic randomly started shuffling their schedule around from previously publicised and SSM shouldn't be held to no standard in this regard. I accept "live sport" can be subject to some alteration but it's not like these events are no longer happening or being replaced by items of greater public interest.

Im far from a Sky apologist.
Just getting tiresome this thread is being hijacked by people whining Sky changed the schedule.

Sky Atlantic as a comparison doesn't work here.
It has a set schedule, its a channel aimed at drama, comedy and occasional docu's.
SSM is a channel offering a taste of live sport and highlights they choose to provide out of a premium pack of sports channels.

A Sky Atlantic comparison, or indeed any other channel, is perfectly valid.

If an EFL cup game was worthy "taster" material three weeks ago then little has changed between then and now. Similarly if Sky intend to show a small number of low end Premiership games then those are just as easy to foresee over the next 4-5 weeks as the "big picks" that will no doubt be all over our Christmas schedules.

If Sky have no genuine intention of showing the content there's no need to claim they will.

Like any other channel it has a limited subset of material to choose from and there is no excuse for Sky to publish one thing then change their mind at short notice.

Schedules change and that's understandable but to run an advert at the end of October saying they are showing live League Cup Football on MIx in November and then decide not to is deception in my book.

I'm saying that knowing a Man U supporter who upgraded his basic Virgin Package for the month thinking it was on Mix this week. Virgin did cancel it and give him a refund though.

While it's hardly the end of the world, I do agree that Sky shouldn't be advertising live football programing only to not deliver on it later. It's certainly not going to encourage people to upgrade to the full sports package, quite the opposite.

Mix had 3 ELF games this weekend Friday night, Saturday evening and Sunday Lunchtime plus EPL yesterday lunchtime but rest of Christmas and New Year is looking pretty poor.

World Dart Championships Quarter Finals on 30th Dec seems to be about it.

Tuesday 10th Jan on Sky Sports Mix

EFL CUP Semi final first leg, Manchester United V Hull

Third time lucky? First two times an EFL Cup match was listed they were dropped again from schedule closer to the time.

Also EFL on Thursday 2nd February, Huddersfield Town v Brighton and Hove Albion
